order for almost £30, no extra ingredient on the pizza. pizza dough not baked, halloumi cheese wrap with two pieces of cheese, the rest was only mayonnaise and ketchup, I didn't taste the vegetables, only ketchup and mayonnaise which is not good, everything except the smash burger which was good, no drink

We used roxys takeaway 2 night in a row whilst staying at the nearby Lyons Robin Hood caravan site. It was really nice and we were surprised at how much selection they had. All food we had was nice and very well priced.

Have been several times recently and have nothing bad to report. It’s a pizzeria cum breakfast spoon cum cafe cum sailing clothes shop. And I love it for its quirkiness and spirit. It could be better though (not a criticism) and here’s a few suggestions ……..(he says possibly pompously but not intended☺️) Serve teas and coffees in china (ie: not disposable paper) cups. Napkins/menus/condiments on the tables Move the cardboard recycling box Do a bit more cafe/bistro food - not posh though. This is a lovely little spot (mostly in sun) and the staff are friendly. The hoodies are fab and I bought one for my girlfriend who loves it. We love the beach and will be back - hopefully for a brew in a crockery mug and a freshly made sandwich 😊

Update to my last review: Sadly, shopping here has become an unpleasant experience. I'm not sure how it's happened but the Garej has turned into a charmless place with overpriced goods and surly staff. When Pam, Gareth and John ran the shop it always had a good atmosphere and some attractive "specials" (e.g. whole ham, milk and selected beers/cider at rock bottom prices). Now you get the feeling they just want to screw you for every penny. Sorry, I don't like being charged nearly a tenner for a box of tea bags or washing powder, only to be met with dismissive grunts from the counter staff. The Costcutter and the Spar in Nefyn and the Pwllheli shops will now get my grocery business.

Great for coffee in the morning and pizza and beer later in the day. Friendly staff and great pizzas. Just need some good wines to complement the beers and pizzas.

Absolutely fantastic food , we haven't had one bad meal from them. According to food hub we've ordered 83times from them in the last 3 years! Every meal is amazing. Thank you. Its always friendly delivery too , we've had big problems with delivery drivers expecting a tip but never had a problem with this place. Again thank you

Getting worse every time. This was the third time they got my order wrong. Tonight they forgot the ham and pineapple on a Hawaiian.....so, they threw shredded, fried ham on top, with cold pineapple, and served it. By the time the had realised and tried to remedy it, the pizza was cold. Never again. Been a customer for over 25 yrs. Good by.

Visited Star Grill in Denbigh on 13th April 2025. Parking was precariously to find, but there is paid car park at the back and a short walk to the place. Ordered the Chef's Mixed Grill - Lamb, Chicken, Mixed Doner, Chips, 2 pitta breads and 2 drinks - came in reasonably at £20. The food was plentiful for four people, but there was two of us and we ate until we bloated lol. That said, the chicken was grilled nicely, the chicken char grilled on the outside yet still soft and white inside. The lamb was also nicely grilled and they cut it through to ensure it was cooked throughout. It was a little dry but I am not complaining it tasted delicious. The mixed doner - lamb and chicken - was nice, soft, and what you'd expect from a diner. The chips were crispy. All washed down with couple of cans of Sprite. The host was very accommodating and helpful, and making sure what we wanted he made sure he can do. He even checked the order twice to make sure everything was in the bag. Definitely will be returning!
