Had a 20oz rump steak and a pint. Food was really good, steak was tender and cooked perfectly, staff were friendly and welcoming. Very cosy and comfortable place with a stunning view. No faults

We dropped in on Sunday lunchtime after walking along the canal, it was recommended by the owner of our holiday cottage. Although we hadn’t booked we were welcomed alongside our dog and shown where there were tables available. I was recommended a Welsh cider, delicious but over 6% so just had the one, my husband had a couple of pints of a local beer. To eat we had the beefburger and falafel burger, both with chips and salad and we both enjoyed our food. The lady who served us was very friendly and helpful, would definitely visit again if in the area.

We parked to have a good lunch. Went to entrance with our dog....this is walking country. Even before getting to door, met by barmaid saying that pub was not dog friendly....perhaps hoped we would leave our dog in car. We left......what a most unwelcoming place.

Great place to stay. A friend and I cycled to the area and stayed here overnight. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The room is a generous size with all the facilities you would want, and you have access to an outside deck area with lounge chairs and table which is ideal on a sunny day. The breakfast was also lovely. The location was great as it’s a 5 min walk from 2 good pubs and a post office/shop

It was so good to be back here. We hadn't passed by since 2018, so it was fantastic to see that it's still going strong. Even though we had already had breakfast, we couldn't resist dropping by for a 'light' brunch. We grabbed a bacon and black pudding sandwich and a coffee, which was as good as we remembered. This would have fuelled us up, Pen y Fan, but alas, we weren't walking that day, so we just got back in the car with full bellies. As friendly as ever and there's something about the food being cooked in the fresh air of the Beacons. We won't be leaving it so long for our next visit!

Nestled in the embrace of the Beacons, the Tai'r Bull Inn is a cosy country pub offering fabulous food for all. Katie & team welcome you with genuine warmth, a cheerful smile & a professional ease that makes for a relaxed & and enjoyable visit. I know I'm preaching to the converted if you've already dined here, but if you haven't yet sampled the delights on offer, then what are you waiting for? We have eaten here many times over the past year, from both the regular & special menus & each time the food has been amazing! Everything is cooked to perfection & and the portion sizes are not for the faint-hearted. Service always comes with a smile & nothing is too much trouble (a special thank you to Jasmine). So, if you haven't done so yet, get yourself booked in, you won't regret it.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. We were waiting for family to meet us before heading in as a group for drinks, we were greeted by the owner or chef (not sure which) asking what we were doing and instructing us to get out of her car park. We were planning to be paying customers. We went in to ask if she was ok with us coming in and she said she didn’t want us to come in as we hadn’t rang ahead.

Visited Peterstone Court for afternoon tea with friends. Staff friendly and attentive. Received a very lovely greeting and welcome from the hotel’s dog on arrival. Sandwiches, cakes and savouries were very nice. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Would visit again, thank you Peterstone Court!
