It was so good to be back here. We hadn't passed by since 2018, so it was fantastic to see that it's still going strong. Even though we had already had breakfast, we couldn't resist dropping by for a 'light' brunch. We grabbed a bacon and black pudding sandwich and a coffee, which was as good as we remembered. This would have fuelled us up, Pen y Fan, but alas, we weren't walking that day, so we just got back in the car with full bellies. As friendly as ever and there's something about the food being cooked in the fresh air of the Beacons. We won't be leaving it so long for our next visit!

What can I say, three steak burgers with literally all the trimmings, two cuppas, old school cherryade, a free events guide to the local area, and phenomenal service from the fabulous Adele, we will now be going tabbing!!! Thanks from the best family 😉

A sight for sore eyes! My first ever hike, went up Penyfan, got lost on the way down, all I wanted was a cuppa and it was perfect, served with a huge smile by the gorgeous Adele. Food delicious too

Excellent food and fantastic service. Had been working on the roads and I was freezing. Coffee and a burger for myself and my mate was extremely welcome. Both were very nice and very very reasonable in price! Thank you Zoe

I contacted Zowie in advance of around 15 of us doing a fundraising walk up Pen y Fan for a men’s mental health charity, she sent us a menu and allowed us to send an order in advance of the event. We drove down from the other car park and Zowie cracked straight in with our food ensuring we had sugar, sauces and kitchen roll to go with our food and drink. Felt she went beyond to ensure we were fed well. They told us about the plans to get their business mobile too and will be looking out for this as the food was great.

I have been a regular here for years, great place to refuel after a day walking in the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast roll is my particular favourite, all cooked to order, delicious.

We ordered fries but they were out of fuel for the generator, lucky us because we got the most amazing veggie burgers! And we bought some Jam Welsh Cakes, really nice for us tourists :-).

Worst coffee/hot chocolate I’ve seen in my life. Took my kids up Pen Y Fan and went there for a hot drink as it was a miserable day. Not joking, the drinks were like water. The worst I’ve ever tasted. Two old blokes running the place. That disgusted, I slung them (the drinks) across the car park. What a waste of over £7!

Just a little bit further along from the main entrance to Pen Y Fan, was looking for space to park. Owner couldn't be more helpful, helped with parking, informed of routes and had fantastic sense of humour. Put the icing on top of a fabulous day. Burgers are also delicious. Will definitely go back just for the banter.

We were in Wales on a walking holiday with our dog and after the tough climb to pen y fan (the hard route not the easy climb) we had a sausage and egg roll and a tea and coffee, Denise was lovely and friendly and we both said it was the best roll we had eaten at any road side cafe (or anywhere really) lovely fresh roll and really generous, would highly recommend after a good walk or even if passing through, thank you Denise, hope to see you again

Just came out for a quick ride on my bike with my two sons, and basic schoolboy error, turned up at the van with no cash!! The owner casually says to me, have what you want, and pay me next time your passing!! Top bloke!! Now that’s customer service!! Three cups of tea later, we get to ride off with a good feeling and thirst quenched. Would recommend dropping by for sure, we’ll be back to pay him next weekend 😀

We were ready for a drink and a chocolate bar when we had got to the Storey arms van from the Brecons YHA and on the way up to Pen y Fan. The lady who owns the van was chatty and friendly and was giving lots of information to people stopping to ask directions and buy a snack. The coffee was on the weak side but hot and available. Well worth a stop on your walk

The Storey Arms Burger Van was like an oasis in the desert after 8 hours in blizzards in the hills! My only regret is that we inhaled our burgers too quickly to get photos.

Sunday lunch out. Food was very well cooked and presented. Price was ok due to the high quality of the food. Decent amount of drink options but only 1 ale. Very friendly staff, clean premises and if the weather is good, plenty of out door seating. Dog and child friendly. We didn't camp there but the facilities looked good and quite cheap.

Whilst I usually promote Deli-Licious as a good place to go if you have a Gluten Free (GF) diet, I was recently disappointed by their GF afternoon tea. I was pleased to hear they offered a GF afternoon tea but was left feeling let down by the poor selection and presentation. The normal afternoon tea was presented on either a picnic bench or a three tiered serving stand, mine was just put on a plate with no effort to make it look like everyone else’s in the group, making me feel like an outcast. At a cost of £16.95, it certainly wasn’t value for money.
