The best restaurants serving British food in Talybont-on-Usk Powys Mid Wales

Went here for a family meal and everything was fantastic from start to finish. I had the lasagna and it was absolutely delicious, Everyone at the table loved their meals. The service was top-notch; our server was friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. We were especially grateful they managed to book in our party of 8 with only two days notice without any issues. Overall, a perfect experience. Highly recommend!

Excellent service fitted us in without a booking though this is not recommended. staff were very friendly food was top quality & plentiful.top quality ingredients. Catered for GF too will call again when in the area

Great place to stay. A friend and I cycled to the area and stayed here overnight. The owner is very accommodating and friendly. The room is a generous size with all the facilities you would want, and you have access to an outside deck area with lounge chairs and table which is ideal on a sunny day. The breakfast was also lovely. The location was great as it’s a 5 min walk from 2 good pubs and a post office/shop

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. We had pork roast and Llanhamlach chicken… then lemon meringue cheesecake. Would recommend it all. Diolch!

Ordered food at the bar and was not busy when we ordered our food once ordered we sat down with our drinks 30 mins went by and other people who arrived in the pub a good 10-15mins after us were being served there food to there table My partner is a diabetic too so she asked how the food would be the lady told her 5mins Time went by then the lady came over to our table and said so sorry but your order didn’t get to the kitchen So at that point was completely cheesed off at this point and left the pub The lady gave my partner a mars bar as she’s a diabetic but service was awful unfortunately

Beautiful pub and fantastic staff. The steak was fantastic and they gave my dog a bowl of sausage, on the house! I sat staring out of the window to the Brecons for a large portion of my time there.
