The best restaurants in Blantyre South Lanarkshire South West Scotland

If u are nearby or passing give this shop a try for something to eat. I would recommend a full scottish breakfast with the haggis, one of the best breakfasts I have ever tried if not the best. Staff are also very friendly and helpful.

On a vistit from Canada to family in Blantyre. We visited the Cafe twice . Serves great fresh food, home baking, great staff and service with a smile, well priced. Would recommend reservations as very popular.

Best pub for bar food by miles. Staff brilliant and so accommodating. Forget your chain restaurants this is real food and a real feed.

We visited here with about 30 people, 4 kids, 1 teenager and baby not only was the food great but the staff were amazing with us! All of the kids got kids meals so they brought them out first which was a massive help and the kids were also very hyper so I’m so happy they respected that. I’m honestly just so happy with how good the food was and how well it ran 🙂!

First visit and won't be last. Lovely comfortable restaurant, friendly attentive staff and fabulous menu. Food was outstanding and portions are massive. They even offer for you to take any food you can't manage home in a box. Highly recommended

Fairly basic menu at above basic prices. Service was slow. Food was OK, but no more than that. Fine for a quick coffee and to take the weight off your feet if youre in the area or at the musuem, but wouldn't go out my way to go there.

Esta pizzería es consistentemente bueno y muy sabrosa. me gusta el hecho de que cuando pides algo los sabores o calidad nunca which alters every week, a diferencia del 95% de los demás comida para llevar. Siempre nos dan el menú b para los cuatro, hay mucho más para una recogida más adelante. generalmente se vaya al lado sur de Glasgow para nuestra comida india, pero esta se ahorra el viaje y está a la par con algunos de los mejores. Had to order salt and chillie chicken balls because I couldn't see ordinary chicken balls on the menu. Too hot for me. Please put ordinary chicken balls on the menu.

Breakfast's Wasn't good definitely not for me again.

Discovered this gem of a chippy after finally giving up on The Palace after years of going there. They just don't know how to do a decent fish supper and don't seem to care either. Gino's, on the other hand, is fabulous. I have never eaten such light, crispy battered on such thick, succulent haddock. The fact that they throw in tartare sauce and lemon just makes it extra special and the owner is a nice chap too. Please keep up the standard and I will never go anywhere else. Congratulations!!
