Awans Blantyre in South Lanarkshire

This takeaway is consistently good and very flavoursome. I like the fact that when you order something the flavours or quality never alters, unlike 95% of the other takeaways. We always get the set meal b for the four, there's plenty left over for a pick at later. We generally would head over to the south side of Glasgow for our indian food, but this one saves the journey and is on par with some off the best. Value for money and then some.

This new place opened and I thought I'd give it a try, ordered a spicy chicken hoggy, basically a large chapatti filled with chips cheese and spicy chicken, cost £4.50 which is average, looked fine until we started eating it, wow spicy chicken indeed! More like vindaloo chicken... Sweat was pouring off me but I was determined to eat it, my partner had 1 bite and couldn't take anymore, way way too hot! I'll defo go back though and try a few more things to get an all round picture of whether I like the food in general.
