The best restaurants in East Ayrshire South West Scotland

This was a reconnaissance visit after hearing good reports about this cafe. We were visiting Cumnock anyway and decided to drop in for a coffee and cake. We were unsure if it just did takeaway food but there is also seating for about 30. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Apparently this cafe has been in operation for about 5 years and profits are ploughed back into the local community. It is part of a community centre so there are other things going on in the building. Coffee was very good and the piece of cake was quite large. Prices on the menu looked cheap for the standard of food served. When I am next in Cumnock, I will definitely return here and I have already spread the word among friends and relatives. Recommended.

A nice wee coffee shop off the beaten track. Very good coffee, ropl were made fresh, and the ingredients were of a very high standard

Great for a friends game of pool. We loved it, great proper tables and not too stuffed in etc. I shall or we shall return

Quite simply the best chinese take away in Kilmarnock if not scotland. Absolutely fantastic food, all fresh and packed with flavour

Visited with some friends last week. Lovely fresh and tasty food. Table buffet great value for money. Great variety. Excellent service from start to finish from the female owner. Best Indian locally by far. Would highly recommend to others. Looking forward to returning soon.

my friends and I came into this restaurant for a few drinks we ordered on the app when the drinks got brung over the waiter was rude he she whatever the gender was asked us for id we showed he she our ids this person then claimed he couldn’t accept my id? I asked why he then replied in a cheeky manor “ur underage this is a fake id” which it is not a fake id, he then went and spoke to his manager , we then saw the waiter walking around while we had been sat for 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to come and talk to us, the waiter then returned and said he couldn’t give us alcohol then rushed away from our table in a hurry, my friends and I were then sat there confused and annoyed, my friend then went up to the manager and asked for a refund. The restaurant straight up refused to refund us. Horrible customer service in here!! At the very least they could’ve had someone with the proper knowledge to check our ids again or they could’ve gave us a refund

I ordered from just eat, waited over an hour for delivery, which was over 15 mins late arrived missing chips for a Mac and cheese supper and a small bag of chips and the rest of order was cold, phoned restaurant about missing item said they would send missing chips out, waited yet another hour, for missing items, then only small bag of chips was delivered Called back to shop regarding the delivery got a really cheeky member of staff, whom said she was the manager, I requested they just refund the chips that were missing and she said that wouldn't happen, If she the manager I would order from them again.

I have been going here for years! First when I worked in killie and still now I sometimes go up (from Saltcoats) just for a noodle bar! Prices are good and the food is brilliant! Always a salt and chilli chicken with noodles for me and siracha sauce and chopsticks to eat it with! Good family run takeaway!

Kids thoroughly enjoyed pizzas and we enjoyed kebab place looked clean and hygenic as well with sanitiser available

Terrible service long wait 6 people in cafe ,when our food arrived wrong order scamp and chips ordered scrambled eggs and toast was served ,3 macaroni cheese chips and salad all cold ,food left unfinished when asked if it was ok we said no not hot reply was oh .Will not be back .

Honnest review. Best chinese in Kilmarnock. Recommend the salt chilli chips & the super meals. Food always hot & delicious. Lady on the phone super friendly and helpful.

I've always found this KFC quite dirty & unkept, every time you go in, there's always bins overflowing & mess on the ground & it's always seems like ages, your waiting when you order food 😔
