Lovely setting staff were very friendly and helpful. The cocktails were fab and we ordered the small plates platter and the smoked fish platter which were excellent. Canât wait to come back to try more of your food and cocktails.
What an absolute stunning place! We arrived as soon as the doors opened on the day of the Weymouth Iron Man 15/09 and bagged the first table closest to the road so we could cheer on my sister's partner. The service was excellent and we had more frozen cocktails than the place could handle! My sister and I terrorized the harbour with our megaphone for the runners and enticed more and more diners in with our loud mouths! The bacon, brie and cranberry toastie was absolutely wonderful and came with a plethora of sides including crisps, coleslaw and a dressed salad on a wonderfully plated board! The cocktails were to DIE for which a lot of other people had succumbed to on our visit (with thanks to the megaphone). Overall, the best place to eat, best service and THE BEST PART, it is independently run! What a rarity, must try if in weymouth!
The selection of fresh seafood available here was second to none and the food was really tasty, I will go back to Gigha just to get another takeaway. I got a wonderfully friendly reception and, as a cyclist, was able to top up my water at the big outside sink at the back of the place.
The best cup of cappuccino I have in a long, long time, very friendly staff pleasant surroundings.
I ha a home made apple turn over, very good , but could have had a bit more apple.
found this place accidentally when traveling from birmingham to reading - googled coffee and in a split second decision seen this place - off the motorway - and it seemed perfect to break up the journey. coffee was excellent, nice to be able to see into the roastery. plenty of parking. only had coffee and pastry, good to see that their coffees are by default made with oat milk (although the barista did ask to confirm). it was a little too cold for my liking, thats probably the only qualm i would have. wish we actually stayed for brunch/lunch - the menu options looked amazing, the stack of pancakes and egg melt with cheese. I hope we get a chance to come back. also shop with specialty coffees, good to see large selection of decaf coffees.
Nice little cafe with pleasant simple surroundings, good well prepared food and a friendly feel to the place.
Stopped with friends on a day trip and had soup, toasties, cakes and teas and coffees and all were delicious.
Prices in line with other places but will definitely return here.
Shanti Tea Boat, what an absolutely fantastic breakfast at the canal side location in Kirk Sandhall. (Mobile) I would have tried the cakes đ° but she had sold out but the bacon and egg sandwiches, coffee and waffles are out of this world. I will definitely be back.
We chose the premium rosete menu for a special birthday and it was flawless - sous vide salmon and filet steak cooked to perfection! Every element was delicious down to the peas. Rob is friendly and professional, would highly recommend!
Anyone know what has happened to this company? It had rave reviews, I had friends who had ordered from them but poof they now cease to exist. No media explanation. Web site closed with no message. Very odd as they seemed to be doing a roaring trade.
I have eaten here a few times now, sometimes a full three course lunch but mostly for the coffee and a scone or cake. Always good food, consistently high quality coffee, the staff are friendly and polite. It is nice that everything is on the same level, and because of the big windows it is light. Toilets are modern and well maintained (excellent disabled facilities) and frequented by all ages from mother and toddlers to seniors. Lots of seating choices, even two areas to sit outside. It is the sort of place that could easily be visited regularly.
