The best restaurants in Forres Moray Highlands and Islands

Drove from an hour away on a sightseeing day only to have owners say there is no restaurant here. So then had to drive back the other way to go to our second choice restaurant.

CL&B provide a good selection of coffee and a prompt delivery service. The website is user friendly and easy to order from. The retail price of their coffee is good value. Regular customer

Found this unassuming kiosk at the side of Grand Park beside children's playground. Ice cream offer was not huge but there were some delightful flavours. and the quality of the ice cream was excellent. We chose lemon and ginger, apple crumbed, cookies and cream and raspberry ripple. Not a bad choice between them. Some benches beside cafe to either watch over children playing or enjoy the beautiful trees in the grounds of the Park. All in all a gem of a find.

Just had an awful chewy bagel with a dollop of cream cheese which was inedible and no suitable excuse given. Just that what I had chosen is usually not cooked well! Actually the bagel was like rubber £4.50 and no refund offered only cake and I’m diabetic! Certainly has reduced my enthusiasm of ever coming again. Wish I had taken a photo because it was a mess.

First time visit and certainly not the last. Excellent from start to finish. What a gem. Great food, great service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend

The only thing I could fault is no breakfast available

美しくて素敵なホテルです。 荷物を預かって欲しくて立ち寄ったら、チェックイン時間前にもかかわらずチェックインさせてくれました。 女主人はとても気さくで親切です。英語が出来ない私でも分かるように、色々説明してくれました。 部屋もとても素敵で、快適なベッドでぐっすり眠れました。 そして、朝食が最高に美味しいです。イギリスの食事は美味しくないなんて嘘です。高級レストランよりも美味しいかもしれません。 ここに泊まれてラッキーです。きっとまた訪れたいです。

Mosset Tavern is wonderful in everything.

Came here this evening, as a party of 7, from the minute we walked through the door, the staff were there to great us, the restaurant is inviting and clean. The popadoms and pickle tray were served warm and tasty, then 2 big plates of starters were served and there was plenty to go around us all, all of the food was served hot and even the presentation was perfect. Next came the trays of chicken and lamb tikka and the meats literally melted in your mouth, the taste left you craving more. If that wasn’t enough, you then got to help yourself to the hot buffet that was on display and there wasn’t any shortage to choose from, something there for all tastes. This place really is a hidden gem, and the portion sizes are truly magnificent. I’d highly recommend for a cosy meal for two, to a big family dinner out, you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely breakfast here just now. Nice warm fire on, beautiful view over the bay. Fast service and great full breakfast. Eggs royale looked awesome to. Definitely reccomend

Another great meal last night. David and Sophie are great hosts and always take time out for a chat even when they’re really busy.

Great little bake house with a delicious choice of home made foods. We called in recently and were well impressed with what was on offer.

The atmosphere and staff was great. The meal was served due to the crowd. Had chicken fillet burger 👌
