Good food made to a high standard and a bit hotter than the norm so be prepared for a hot curry even when ordering medium spice on their menu. Still very good though.

Ate Indian food for the first time and listened to the recommendation and were very satisfied and delicious 😁

This place has a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the sweet crepes and bubble waffles are to die for. We love to come here to have soup of the day and then a treat after. Also tried the hot dog, it was huge with lots of filling and very tasty. Same goes for their tuna panini. We turned this place into our go to for lunch out and always have a nice chat with the owner when we are there too. Can only recommend.

A warm & friendly welcome on arrival as usual, I stay here 2/3 times a year passing through on business, can’t always get booked as this can be a busy hotel due to the good value but lucky to have got the last room for tonight. The restaurant menu is incredible & all freshly cooked (no pinging of plastic microwave food going on here) with the Chefs specials being added to an already superb choice of the main menu with all the main fish & meats being sourced locally, (the Scottish breakfast is very satisfying too) at the bar you’ll find some really tasty locally brewed beers (inc IPA’s) on offer too, you’ll not go wrong here. For me, it’s the staff, reception, waiting & bar staff all being very attentive, they can’t do enough for you & always very helpful, polite & professional. To the management/owners, congratulations, you have a good team under you doing a great job making your guests welcome & doing you proud. Can’t wait to come back 👌

Stopped in past for a quick coffee and cakes. Was pleasantly impressed with the service, nice coffee and scones. Toilets were lovely, clean and fresh smelling too!

It was okay. I got the chicken tikka masala and it was absolutely awful, extremely sweet like eating pure sugar. I threw away my whole meal because I just couldn’t stomach it. Very disappointing and will not be back personally. I’m sure someone who likes a super sweet chicken tikka masala would enjoy this, but I definitely didn’t and neither did my husband. Also we only got one poppadom despite there being two of us…which is odd even though I know it was complimentary.

Stopped off here for lunch but was disappointed with the choices available. Some of the bill of fare is written on a blackboard. There are unnamed heated pies and sausages rolls on display. I asked if they had egg mayo sandwiches and was directed to the children's section at the start of the counter. The server seemed perplexed when I indicated I was too old to be classed as a child. We had broccoli and cheese soup, which was nice. We also had greasy sausage roll and a steak pie which we thought might have been offered along with an accompaniment such as beans. As a local I can now strike this place off my list of eating establishments however if I was a tourist I would be shocked if this was the standard of eating facilities in Elgin.

This is an amazing restaurant with really good atmosphere, I have ordered takeaway aswell and both experiences were amazing definitely recommend dining for the whole experience

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, Essen sehr lecker und ausreichende Portionen, schönes Ambiente. Kostet zwar auch dementsprechend viel aber wenn man einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen verbringen möchte dann ist es sehr zum empfehlen

Great stop for a quick bite. Had the pizza and an open faced sandwich - both were really good. Broad menu. Service was prompt and efficient.
