We are fortunate to have so many good Indian restaurants in Elgin, but, in my opinion, the Panache is definitely the most delicious around. So much flavour and such high quality. Recommended for both sit in and take aways. We ate the lot before we thought of taking a picture 😖 The service is excellent and friendly. The staff are as keen on the food as we were.

Fantastic food atmosphere & service

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal last night, thanks to all the staff, a very pleasant evening.

The food dishes are not true Kashmiri or Punjabi they have watered down to European taste I ordered the Punjabi chicken with a kulcha they were nothing like the dishes I have been eating in London or Bradford I can’t believe the cost of the meal they charged for popadoms at £1 per popadom the chutneys which are usually free are charged at £1 per portion never had this service charge for the nan very high and not to the standard for my wife or my taste I can’t give this restaurant anything positive as my experiance was not to the standard of a basic Asian restaurant in the south or even the Punjabi in India

The food was amazing. Really really enjoyed the garlic dish that comes with the nan bread. Definitely will be back. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend

I cannot comment on the restaurant experience as I have always had takeaways from here. However, the quality of food has always been excellent, there has only ever been one episode where the food did not meet the grade, however, I am prepared to look over this as it was Christmas time and there have been no issues since. Food I tend to go with a mixed starter followed with a garlic and ginger chicken, chips, Nam bread and papadums (that are never soft). My wife will have the chicken Tika Masala. ✅ Chicken is tender, very tasty and a plentiful amount ✅ Flavourful, aromatic with a rich thick source. ✅ Portion sizes are generous and always struggle to eat ✅ Nam Bread are a good size with a decent filling The only negative I can draw upon is the cost – it’s over £60 for a starter, main and poppadom’s for 2, however that seams to be the cost of Indian food nowadays. However, this takeaway is a solid recommend

Food & service both first class

Delicious food, with great selection - some of the best Indian we’ve had. Slightly higher priced than some (£80 for 2, starters, mains and couple of drinks each). Great service and will definitely be back and recommend.

Going for a curry no longer a cheap night.!!

I've left good reviews before but after tonight's meal have had to edit it. The meal was a bit disappointing. It was missing the yoghurt sauce, the lamb was really poor and the chapatis that they charge £1.95 each for were the same ones you can buy from the shop. To say that we were waiting an additional 15 minutes for the meal it definitely wasn't their usual standard.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The standout for us was definitely their Tadka Dal – it was excellent! We opted for takeaway and were pleased with the quick service. The staff were friendly and ensured that the food was prepared and delivered promptly. However, there was one issue we encountered. Since we ordered a big meal for a group of 8 people, we expected some disposable cutlery to be provided, but unfortunately, it wasn't included. This made it a bit inconvenient for us to enjoy the meal together. Overall food quality was good and the flavors were on point. We'll definitely consider returning, though we might bring our own cutlery next time if we're ordering takeaway!

I hadn't been here for a while, and that turned out to be a big mistake. Absolutely beautiful food, served fresh and tasty. Service is excellent, and now, by far and away, the best Indian restaurant in town. It was so good we went back for a carry out the following night.

Fantastic food!! I wish I knew about this place before!! Everything was decent and enjoyed I the whole lot. Delivery was fast and the guy who took my call was lovely. Just those little details that make it so much better, the depth of flavour was perfect. I wish I knew about this place sooner as I have had to endure a curry from somewhere else in elgin that put a whole tin of DelMonte fruit in it!!!!! On holiday on Fochabers. Googled Indian restaurants in Elgin. Picked this one and we were not disappointed. 1st class service 👌 lovely food and great ambience. Buzzing for a Wednesday night. Highly recommend we visit lots of Indian restaurants and this one definitely rates as one of the best. Lovely complimentary after 8 shot to finish off the night. Will definitely return if I'm the area again. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming 🙏

It's really nice to have such a beautiful meal after a long time

Nice spacious restaurant, and very pleasant staff offering good service, but.....the food, however, was disappointing. Having had both a sit-in and a takeaway frrom here in the last month, it was clear that the chef (or chefs) was not the same as our previous visits over a year before. Excessive grease and oil was a feature on both occasions, and a "samey" taste as if a base sauce had been used with a pinch of different taste and heat thrown in for the various curries, resulting in very little variety of flavours. We will probably not be going back here.

Wonderful & full flavoured delight! There is Indian cuisine & there is authentic Indian cuisine & boy is this the later! I actually came to visit the Turkish next which was closed & stumbled across Panache. I was post workout, in shorts on my work travels but not judged & given a nice seat, I wish I got the servers name as she was fantastic! I watched as she also waited on other table & she was at the top end of attentive! I ordered the Panjab Chicken Tikka, Pilau Rice, Garlic Chapati & Fanta £ 23.85, on the whole good value although £4.20 for the Pilau Rice I thought was over priced. The flavour was like an explosion in my mouth, truly the most wonderful delight! I would highly recommend & will more than likely revisit during this trip!

Best takeaway ! Last night I had chicken tikka tiger Khan which is so creamy and delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. The chicken was cooked to perfection and plenlty of it . The sauce had lots of cashew nuts in it which hits the spot . Really enjoyed my curry tonight thank you guys 🙏🏻 Best nan breads in the business as well.

Ordered a takeaway from here last night, food was really good on previous visits but haven't used them in a while. The food was 35 minutes late and the rice I ordered was missing. What was delivered was not up to the previous standard, very bland. Thankfully I had some steamed rice already cooked so we could eat. The rice showed up about 25 minutes later by which time we'd finished eating, and the 2 complimentary poppadoms weren't softening the blow as we'd already ordered and eaten the 4 we ordered and no-one was wanting more by then. Very disappointing.

I’ve been getting takeaways from here for 10 years+ and the food is always good, but recently the service is getting worse. Phoned at 6 tonight and was told to collect between 6.45 and 7, arrived at 7 and no food ready by 7.45 when I asked for and got a refund. Shouldn’t be taking orders if you can’t service them.

I phoned the night before to inquire if they were open for lunch on the following day ( Wednesday ) I was informed they were open 12pm to 2pm, on arrival they were closed we will not frequent the premises again

This wonderful restaurant delivered enough meals to feed all the staff working in hospital on New Year’s Day! It was such a lovely kind gesture it made the incredible curries even tastier, I’m incredibly grateful for the excuse for a quick break way to make my final festive 13 hr shift fly by! Thanks so much, I’m not going anywhere else for curries and can’t wait to taste that yummy naan again!

Take away. Found pakora batter bit thick and poppadoms soft. Really enjoyed the curries very flavoursome and garlic rice delicious. Asked for king prawns added to a curry £6.50 for 3 prawns which were over cooked. Provided feedback through their website and have heard nothing back, not even an acknowledgment.

Been three times in last few weeks since it won awards and new management. First two times tasted great. Staff always friends despite being busy. Last meal chicken was very rubbery. My wife being pregnant too scared to eat it

Great evening with my wife and 11-year old son. His first visit to an Indian restaurant and he loved it. Excellent service. We all left with a smile on our faces, and my son with an extra bag of popadoms.

Cold plates, stale popadums, they are more concerned with the takeaways than sitting customers

Recently heard this restaurant was the best in Scotland has they have recently won the Scottish curry awards so decided to give it a try, and was definitely not disappointed completely agree with them being the best Indian restaurant overall, food was amazing and so fresh, one of the waitress with blonde hair. recommend some dishes and couldn’t of been more helpful and made me feel very welcome. Having eaten here in the past I was just wondering if it would be possible to have improved the quality of food and service. Much to my surprise I was greeted with a friendly member of staff who escorted us to a table which was immaculate, the food choice was very good as it was lunch time the quality and amount was excellent service was very good I would recommend this restaurant, what an improvement since my last visit I will definitely be back thanks to the staff

Sat in on Wed night with the wife was a fantastic meal and good service. Ordered a vindalo recommended by the waitress and was by far the best I have had in a long time and tasted nice and fresh. Was a really nice change and would recommend to anyone.
