The best restaurants in Johnstone North, Kilbarchan & Lochwinnoch Renfrewshire Glasgow and Surrounding

We stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday and was warmly greeted. The restaurant area was not busy and we were offered to choose any table we wanted, so we choose the table by the windows which gave space for our dog. The waitress was polite, friendly and provided a fantastic service throughout our lunch. Some of us had the Lentil and bacon soup which was absolutely fabulous. The main courses were Chicken Panini, Chicken in garlic sauce, Cajun Chicken and a Mediterranean tart, all served with salad and chips.

half was undercooked and the rest had obviously been lying for ages...coconut ice cream I ordered was plain vanilla...not worth money at all

Came here on a recommendation but was disappointed by the service or lack of service. The place is lovely and has a nice holiday feel to it … so I was excited to try it out. I opted for coffee and cake to see what it was like before making a dinner reservation. Initially trying to get a waitress/waiter was difficult as the table next to me discovered to as they tried to order more drinks. Eventually I got my coffee (not extra hot as ordered) so had to order another to finish with my cake. This time it was even harder to get served. I stopped a young woman whom I presumed was a waitress but instead she assured me she would send someone over to take my order. 10 mins past by and so I stopped another waitress who was taking an order from guests who had just arrived. This time my coffee was perfect … about 10 minutes later another coffee arrived! I explained I had already had it and was just finished. However, when I got my bill I had been charged for three!! They did rectify the bill without apology! I was looking forward to coming for dinner but feel this experience has put me off. So it’s on hold for now!

Delicious taste always come from glasgow just to have this taste. Would highly recommend this place for food lovers.

Hadn't been in here for a few years. Decided to get a takeaway. Ordered online which was fine. On arriving the restaurant was empty with one man waiting on a takeaway. Which was strange as it was always really busy. Order was ready. The food was vile. My chicken was so hard I couldn't even cut the pieces never mind chew it and the beef dish was as tough as old boots. Pakora was dry and the peshwari nan was grey to say the least. Think it had all been rehea. The poppadoms were burnt. £36 WASTED. would have been better and cheaper going to Sandros.

Absolutely gorgeous had hotdog chicken wings and all great. Staff are definitely not!!! rude anything but they are all lovely and polite x

Staff were very helpful and polite. Went with friends and visit this particular subway regularly. Much better than other stores in the area.

I love this place. Super tasty food! Pizza was slightly sloppy but still very tasty! The taleggio was absolutely brilliant!

Two medium pizzas and wedges £23 not great value but good quality pizzas, delivered quickly and hot, does what it says on the tin I guess

We got off to a good start as we were seated promptly. However it went rapidly downhill from there. We waited for around 20 minutes before the manager said they’d be with us in 2 wee seconds. This never happened. When the waiter then decided to take the order of someone who’d been sat for only 5 minutes that was our cue to leave. I made a point of approaching the manager to advise him not to bother taking our order as we were leaving. No attempt was made by him to try and rectify the situation with only a meaningless apology given. We won’t be back

We met with friends for lunch on December 20th. The Festive menu was the best I'd seen, very extensive. The service was very good, plenty of staff willing to assist. The food was delicious, however the soup was just lukewarm. Such a pity as it was so tasty ! This cost a star I'm afraid, otherwise it would have been the full five stars. Would we go again ? Definitely !

Very enjoyable meal in nice relaxed surroundings. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Waitress who greeted us on arrival was friendly and professional. Spoke to the young chef (Calum) as we were we leaving. Very impressionable young man who wished us well and hoped we enjoyed our meal. We will be back.
