We met with friends for lunch on December 20th. The Festive menu was the best I'd seen, very extensive. The service was very good, plenty of staff willing to assist. The food was delicious, however the soup was just lukewarm. Such a pity as it was so tasty ! This cost a star I'm afraid, otherwise it would have been the full five stars. Would we go again ? Definitely !

Food was OK, service was very good. Problem was that they had a Christmas Special menu, but if you wanted two courses, it had to be a starter and main. If you wanted a dessert, you had to take three courses. Why not give the customer a choice? Don't force us to take what you want to give us, it won't work. We took something from the main menu, which wasn't what we really wanted and cost less, so you lost out.

Im not sure why I went, it's a chain! Maybe it was the fact I booked a table for 9 and they took £10 a head deposit!? Anyway, surroundings are nice and staff are nice if a little unattentive - but I can cope with that. The Calamari starter was all greasy batter, little calamari, the tandoori lamb chops (3 chops on a plate of veg) were Chuck as old boots (£24). Other guests faired a bit better. £194 with only 2 people having 1 drink and had no puddings. Very disappointing. Feel utterly ripped off.

Lounsdale RoadIt's a chain pub that does reasonable food for normal folks at a reasonable price, but it's good at it. Food was good for the price. It was served with a smile and drinks prices are great. Selection was good small portions available. It is busy so I would book if you want to get in. Seats outside for that fantastic Scottish summer weather (i mean it). Staff were nice and friendly. Free.parking available. (It used to be very poor in here but what a change. Amazing). Well done to all the staff/management for the huge improvement. I will be back

8 Fulbar StreetI have used this shop for 30years and it has been brilliant until recently but it is getting worse I went in on Friday 2/05/25 and ordered a single fish and a jumbo sausage supper the fish was lined up in a row apart from the ones we were given we took it home and discovered the fish was Less than 5mm thick burned it was disgusting for a customer for thirty years is terrible please do not go near this shop if you read the good reviews do not believe this nonsense i have been a customer for 30 years and it I the worst chippy in Renfrew

1Hillhead DriveWe went for the breakfast on Sunday, really excited to get a breakfast Yorkshire Pudding as it’s something we’d never done before. Sadly there were no Yorkies at the buffet even though they are advertised on the menu. The link sausages were also largely undercooked and the beans were a bit cold by the time we got to them. Staff were friendly and the place was clean.
