Came here for the first time and I was not dissapointed. Was amazing food and amazing service, great sized portions at a great price. Very nice and polite people and a very clean and homely area to eat in would highly recommend, was a great place especially for a local. Will definently be back again.

Read lots of positive comments online, glad we decided to pay a visit, top marks for the welcome and the hospitality. We had fish which the chef made especially for us, how many places are willing to accommodate customers like that? Generous portions all food freshly made to order. The kids enjoyed the pasta Bolognese which was homemade, a real treat, the chicken nuggets and pizzas were big hits. Great homemade deserts, too good to wait. I'd highly recommend.

A very good latte and easy to get to via window on outside of station. Friendly service and no issues with order.

I cannot beleive the stunning decor or selection of drinks my self and my wife attended and were blown away with the cocktails and gins, the decor is stunning you fell that your in the merchant city in town and prices are very reasonable. 5 stars highly recommended 👌

Was in on Sunday and for the 1st time I tried butter chicken with a soft and fluffy buttered Nan it was magnificent so sad to see how this place is so quiet it's by far the best indian food locally Keep up the good work 👏

Our first visit on the recommendation of family. Had the lunch menu. The food was piping hot and delicious. The Naan was amazing. The staff were very friendly We will definitely be back

Visited with friends for dinner. ALL agreed this was a fantastic dining experience. 75% of our party chose from the Asian Menu while 25% from the European Menu. Both menus provided an extensive choice of dishes to satisfy any palate. The chosen starters comprised 3 Pakoras, chicken, prawn and vegetable. Beautifully prepared and Presented, quite excellent. The mains comprised Chicken Tikka, Lamb Biryani, Kashmiri Chicken Korma, Punjabi Chicken and Steak Pie, again ALL wonderfully prepared and presented. Accompaniments comprised Boiled Rice, Chapatis, Nan Bread and Peshwari Nan. What a feed was had by all. Beers wine and soft drinks complemented the food. Highly Recommended. A further visit imminent.

Had a wonderful day of social distancing fun in Owens huge beer garden yesterday. They were incredibly organised and we felt very safe and well look after. Delicious food, lovely friendly staff and yummy cocktails. Thank you Owens - I’ll be back!

We went here Monday 5/5/25. We hadn't been in several years so thought we'd go back as it was always lovely. To our surprise it was complete opposite. We where no sooner there and we couldn't wait to leave. The chicken was definitely off, we both could taste the stale taste from it at the back of our throats. We asked for crispy nan bread, they brought soughy bread, we ask they change this to well done, they brought it back worse. It looked like it had been dipped in a pot of oil, it was even more soughy. We decided to call girl over for Bill so we could get out of there, when she came over I told her food was awful, she just smiled. I asked her did you just hear what i said, she nodded her head without speaking and smiled again. No one questioned us if our food was OK. They clearly saw we where only there less than 10 minutes. There was no customer service at all. We strongly felt because there was no boss about the food was awful, as when we used to go he was alway there and they made sure food was always good. Iv never experienced anything like this, i wouldn't give that food to a dog. It was absolutely awful. Even the atmosphere was awful, the guy that brought the food out couldn't even manage a smile. We'll never go back there now. We left the quickest £40 on there table and left still very hungry. We had waited patiently all day looking forward to this and went home gutted. Appalling service. I hope the owner reads this cause I'm sure he wouldn't be happy if that where him and his wife.

Had takeaway from here for ages , loved it, but tonight I had chaep frozen veg in my vegetable balti , shoking, so disappointed

We have used The Mint on and off for over 15 years and we seldom have any complaints. The last couple of times we have went there we went for the braised beef with mash, and I’ll tell you what, if you order it you won’t be disappointed, it’s absolutely delicious, the meat is so tender you can cut it with a spoon, the mash is smooth and the red wine sauce is delicious 😋 So try it out. Well done chef 👍💕
