The best restaurants in Anderston / City Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

I would agree that it’s better than Krispy Kreme. They have some really interesting flavors. The fact that they’ve mentioned on the box “Made by people, not machines!” makes whole lot of sense. My next go to for a doughnut for sure. 👍🏼

What a cute little gem. We went elsewhere first without a booking and was told 60 mins wait. So we saw La Lanterna on Google and we were so glad to have settled for this restaurant. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the monkfish pasta, it was exactly how I imagined. If you like flakey fish, it’s the dish to go for! My partner had risotto, can’t fault it neither. Cute date night spot with lovely comfort food. Generous portions, which we appreciated a lot coming from london…

The food is great but the guys toilet is tiny

We did a three week trip through Scotland and this was one of the best Scottish restaurants we’ve been too. Can only recommend. Everything was delicious. We had oysters as a starter, both a main, dessert with coffee/tea and whisky. We had our big dog with us and they were very welcoming toward him and gave him water as well as treats.

Amazing food, what a place 😋 no better place for Glasgow in the sunshine

This was a lovely lunch date spot. The venue is very ambient and cosy and the service was 10/10. Staff were super knowledgable and made us feel super welcome and explained the menu very well. We ordered 2 courses from the lunch menu (£25) which was amazing value for money. I ordered the mussels and they were unreal. Great experience and will definitely return soon!

It's just ok in the grand scheme of things which is no slight on the place. It's perfectly ok. Nice decor

What can be said about this bar that hasn’t been said already? Not anything new but it should be repeated anyway. This is a top top top bar and a must visit for a whisky lover. Beyond the offerings and killer pricing lies a staff that has a genuine passion for whisky that is infectious. I went twice in a night because I couldn’t get enough.

This is a great place to eat. The staff were very attentive from the moment we arrived. Our waitress Georgia made it a great experience for us. The food was delicious and very well presented. My steak was cooked to perfection. I can’t recommend The Duke’s Umbrella highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Loads of choices and great atmosphere

Visited Joia in December with friends and had a lovely meal. Returned again with family including a baby. We all enjoyed our meals and looking forward to a return visit soon. Food excellent, staff friendly and attentive. My favourite Italian restaurant ❤️
