Unassuming gem in Finnieston with a charming interior. Fully vegetarian menu with vegan options. Tasty food.
The lablabi wrap was packed with fresh veggies and chickpeas covered in a yummy combination of sauces and spices. It was accompanied by a side salad, hummus, and sunblushed tomato salsa. Every component complemented each other beautifully. Very filling and satisfying. You can dine in or order a takeaway from the hole in the wall.
They have a breakfast menu offering Tunisian pancakes for sitting in, and a specials menu with focaccia rolls at the time. Staff seemed kind and thoughtful in a quiet, gentle way. They brought water before we even asked and checked in on us during our meal. Thank you for the lovely dining experience.
I used to like the breakfast at this little cafe, so I brought my friend here. But, felt disappointed by the attitude of staff this time.
When we asked for the menu, the answer was "We just have those things that a cafe would have", then urged us to order. We only had a cup of normal coffee as a result.
Appears to go by Riverside Cafe now but my Greek friends all still call it Pie Pie. Great choice of pastries and panini and real Greek frappe. You know it’s good when it’s full of (Greek) locals. Now that I’ve found it, it’s my go to place when I’m in the office.

As always, Brewdogs bars are always worth a visit if you want a good selection of beers, nice service and something good to eat. This one in Merchant City is no exception, great service, awesome beers and good food.
We called here for our evening meal and what a find, great food all cooked fresh and was very tasty. This restaurant is located in a side street so slightly hard to find so it was quiet but well worth finding. The waiter was very helpful with everything.
Honestly, hands down the best taco in Glasgow. Full of flavour, proper fresh ingredients, and just the right kick o’ spice. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Every time I go, it hits the spot. If you’ve not tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Disappointing Experience – Good Food, Poor Service
A great restaurant is judged by three key things: service, food quality, and ambiance (along with cleanliness and pricing). Unfortunately, The Italian Kitchen fell short in multiple areas.
We ordered drinks, a starter, and main courses, but everything arrived at almost the same time. When we asked the server to bring the starter later, we were told, "We can't do that." The food itself was good, but the rushed service and lack of flexibility spoiled the whole experience.
For the high prices, we expected better hospitality—instead, we felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint, finishing our meal in just 30 minutes.
Good food isn’t enough when the service fails. Won’t be returning.
Excellent place to stop for some Indian food. Staff are friendly and helpful, it's Indian tapas style food and they keep you right about the amount to order. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price.
