Overall, disappointing. The service was lacklustre, gnocchi was tasteless and I went home hungry. Interior is lovely but its all style and no substance. This was supposed to be a graduation meal for my sister, and I felt so sorry that they got her order wrong and she was left waiting for her meal whilst we all ate ours. Mistakes happen but there was only a small whisper of an apology for this. My meal had eight pieces of gnocchi and so I was finished my meal before everyone else and was left feeling hungry as I watched everyone else finish their dinner. Although the hint of sauce was nice there was not enough of it to flavour the tasteless gnocchi. I had a dessert to try and fill me up but a small, uninspiring sponge with a dodd of ice cream didn't quite manage it. I'd have fed all this back in person if the waiter had adequately asked how my meal was, but they didn't. The maitre d could barely even lift his head out of his booking form to say goodbye to us. At £250 for a meal we definitely wasted our money.

My husband and i went here whilst staying in Glasgow. We had booked previously and pleased we did as they were turning people away. I had a bacon sandwich and he had salmon and avocado and cream cheese on sourdough bread. He had a lemon drizzle cake and I got a scone to take away. When i opened it i saw they had included cream and jam snd knives so was well impressed. Recommended but please book.

Tiny (VERY small) pub, don't let that photo fool you, it's not big. Good staff, great atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks.

This review is more for “The Hidden Lane”! It’s aptly called ‘Hidden’ as it is located very inconspicuously! You blink and miss the entrance to the Lane! Although it is recommended for people visiting Glasgow to visit this place, I would suggest that you can give it a miss. Nothing much to do once you reach there!

Riverhill has incredible coffee and food. The staff are friendly, and the fact that it is always busy tells its own story. This is, for me, the best coffee in the centre of Glasgow and close to Central Station. The only problem is, they don't open until 8am and I now have to be in Central just before then, but you can't have everything.

What a bummer. Having done tons of research trying to find some vegan options for my trip, we’d been looking forward to breakfast at Glasvegan for months. I double checked the hours and both Facebook and Google stated they opened at 9am, Google even said the hours were confirmed by phone a few weeks prior. When we showed up, the place was closed & dark - no sign on the door, no post on their social media (and no website). Another traveller showed up around the same time and was also disappointed to see the dark restaurant. After looking into some news articles, it sounds like their inconsistent opening times was a blessing in disguise. Head chef up and quit, employee complains against owners, treatment and working conditions, and steadily declining food reviews. Good riddance I guess. They haven’t even responded to my inquires on their social media sites.
