Masala Mix in Glasgow City

As a frequent visitor I feel that I am disappointed with my recent visit to Coia’s. I feel that the quality and quantity of food has deteriorated however the prices of the food has increased. £23 for a fish supper is quite excessive especially when a hair was found in one. The staff were very apologetic around this and this was deducted from the bill. On previous visits we have all left satisfied, raving about the food and looking forward to our next visit. Unfortunately not one of the 5 of us that visited were impressed and we were all left wondering if we would return again in the future.

The food was good but despite being informed to order a few starters and some mains, came courses in totally random order with no sens at all. Got fish which was a main same time as chicken starter, then garnish came last 20min later (potatoes & rice??). Table beside ours had the same issue not understanding what was being served. Food runner even came to us checking what we hadn’t got… A really messy experience! To top it off, being given the table next to restrooms (somebody got to have it..)with the damn door banging in our back every other minute was a real pain! In all, a quite disappointing experience also rather expensive for what you get.

Not the best food I've ever had and given my wife is Italian was unlike any Italian food I've had in 50 years. Food cold as was the restaurant with 2 out of the tasting menu having pass marks. Waitresses terrific apart from one who practically whipped my wife's plate away when she hadn't actually finished. Very disappointed, won't be back.

Nice local venue for functions. Could do with Heating though.
