Very authentic and sensational Mac'n Cheese.

Great staff, food is freshly cooked.. Also a great place to stop by with your pals, whether it's 4 friends or 20 yous are always welcome

Nice fish supper , staff was friendly,was quiet on my last visit but would visit again,no complaints.

I think this is the best sit-down fish and chip shop in Glasgow. Never been disappointed.

Wife went in for single sausage and a bag of chips this morning, chips were absolutely vile two week old reheats the soggy sausages binned the lot, robbed me of £10 avoid at all costs.

This place has been a favourite of ours for decades,yesterday being Saturday it was really busy as usual,we were lucky enough to get a seat by the window,our order was taken quickly and l got a Small Fish Tea,my daughter a tasty ham coleslaw salad roll,it was delicious,the prices are very reasonable Friendly staff and very clean also has good sized toilet

Great find with local atmosphere and superb food. It's lovely to see many locals being warmly greeted. We went for fish and chips which was great as well so I would thoroughly recommend stopping here

Visited Guido's coronation restaurant whilst away in Glasgow for business. It's a traditional cafe with a friendly feel. I had the fish supper, which came with marrowfat peas. I had this with a pot of tea and can of iron bru. The fish itself was a good size. Not sure what kind of fish it was but maybe didn't taste like haddock that I'm used to. Overall was good value.

Lady who served us was a wee hoot kept us entertained. All staff were pleasant .used to go there way before getting married. Still has the same atmosphere. A great visit and good food.

Guido’s was one of the best parts of my visit to Glasgow. The warm atmosphere of the little restaurant drew me in, and the ladies working there were so sweet, friendly and welcoming. I had the fish tea and absolutely loved it! Put it on your list if you want fish and chips, haggis or anything from the variety of tasty food they offer!

Guys I ordered a special fish breadcrumbs not batter I can’t eat batter for health reasons I should have said however the food was hot and chips was good however the fish was ridged rigamortis set in with that solid batter sadly it was a bust this time I am a fish guy I buy every two days and thought I had a close top rated chippie it would have been great if the fish was ok id have took the fish out but it was rock hard sad to say flop this time I would have called if I had number

Vintage fish and chip shop that's been going for 50 years that "Jack and Victor" would get the no21 bus to get a fish tea with buttered bread and enjoy the east end banter that the staff naturally provide in abundance for free.

Went here a week ago, absolutely lovely chips. My family have been coming to this cafe for decades and we all love it.

Ordered a kingrib and a hamburger it was anything but crispy batter. Swimming in grease! The pizza crunch had no crunch it was just a deep fried pizza the only decent thing was the chicken goujons total waste of money as it went in the bin. Gutted and still hungry 🙄

An olden-styled Italian-Scottish chip shop that had fantastic food and the portion sizes were ideal, I got a small fish and chips, which was flaky and tender. Probably the best chippy I've had in the city and would definitely revisit again.

Great atmosphere in this small family restaurant! Deliciously Scottish fish and chips, but also other local specialties. The waitresses are attentive and very funny. An address not to be missed if you are in Glasgow!

Best fish and chips I had in Glasgow, and what a charming little place this was. Bubbly waitress and ladies behind the counter. Don't get the curry sauce on your white shirts, it doesn't come off easy 😅

When I'm in Scotland I always enjoy haggis and chips, and Glaswegian friends recommended Guido's. It was busy with locals on a Saturday night which is a good sign. A proper old-fashioned chippy with fast, friendly service. The chips were big and golden like they should be, the haggis with just the right amount of batter. Took it away and ate it in a little park overlooking the Clyde. Recommended.

Very rude lady, who has no idea how to speak to people nor a customer. The food is ok, overrated although it's budget friendly.

I never leave reviews but the service from this place was rotten. Particularly from the owner/manager who was very hostile and ended up shouting at us and telling us a F off when we were simply trying to pay for our food. Absolutely mental. They should not be in an hospitality industry because they are very much against hospitality .

What a treat for us as it's been few weeks since having Just Eat delivered from Coronation Restaurant our favorite chip shop. 5stars plus.

Popped into this place for a quick meal before seeing Emperor at the Barrowlands. I've got to say, this is a fine wee chip shop and the food served filled a hole. The staff had a lot of energy and were a good laugh. The food was piping hot and wasn't greasy or covered in any kind of nastiness. The prices were quite fair and I'd happily pay it again. The only complaint I have are the chairs. I'm a big lad, tall, disabled and couldn't sit comfortably in most of them. This isn't obviously a problem for folks under 6ft etc so I wouldn't rate them down for it. Though I do like the aesthetic. The tables just aren't a style built for people my size haha. Despite the gripe, I'd happily go back.

Delicious fish and hamburger supper, and the ice cream with raspberry sauce was the best we have ever tasted, would highly recommend this chip shop to everybody. The Coronation Restaurant used to be my chippy 22 years ago when i was a student living in Watson Street above the Chrystal Bell pub and the food tastes just the same 👍 shop owned by a lovely family, thanks guys

we usually get the larger munchie box but tonight wasn’t good atall .. curry and gravy were really watery n no flavour. Food was soggy and swimming in grease .. most went in the bin .. which is weird cos nothing usually goes to waste wen ordering previously

driver was good 🚖 order was within time scale fish was delicious 😋 but no chips 😕 got 2 singles no salt + got my 3 pickles - asked for 1 single and 1 supper with salt n vinegar😭chips looked awesome so somewhat disappointed 😑

This place is sensational. The service is humanized. I chose a fish and chips which I paid 8 euros, but with a treat and a generous portion that I would eat there every day.

It is 2nd time this week I've used just eat for Coronation Restaurant our favorite chip shop. Driver kept us updated at where and when it would arrive. 5stars plus to just eat.

I was stuck in the motorway for nearly an hour and decided to stop off at the gallogate for lunch, I knew where I would have lunch , it was the coronation fish restaurant where I had visited before a few months ago with my dear wife who passed away away last year, I had a lovely fish tea with a slice of bread and butter It was my birthday and I enjoyed it immensely. I recommend it to anyone who has time to spare. John burns.

not what I expected. ordered 10 fish suppers and 6 sausage. sausages didn't come with chips and didn't give option to add them. despite order being over £100.

Have never tried here before but the food was amazing. Large portions. Nice and hot. The chips and cheese was perfect, so much cheese. Will deffos be ordering from here again!!

My wife and I came here during a ten-day trip to Scotland, and this was possibly my favorite meal on the whole trip. Sure, we ate at fancier places, but Guido's was something else. I kept telling my wife - between bites - "I can't believe this is happening." I love fish and chips, and this was my first haggis. I had haggis elsewhere on the trip, but none were deep-fried like at Guido's. My wife also noticed days later that Guido's had the fattest peas. The chips, cheese, and curry was a delicious twist on standard chips, and the service was excellent. Being a Texan, I found the atmosphere exciting. (After our meal we walked past a country-and-western bar, so I guess the feeling is mutual!) We had plenty of fish and chips on our trip and luckily all were excellent, but Guido's was one of the most memorable eating experiences I've had in my life.

Had to put 1 star to all of things because I don’t know if the food will be good now. Rotten service, takes far too long to get the food. Absolutely raging. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Got quote stating between 16,50 to 17,10.recieved food at 17,50.It won't put me off Just Eat as use them every week,putting down to it being busy over the festive period.

I always love coronation however I got a fish supper and it just wasn’t nice :( was soggy, batter almost felt wet was that soggy maybe it was due to delivery but haven’t had this issue before maybe just a bad day, chips and curry sauce lovely tho.
