I got a korma take away last night the food was good but I discovered a total of 7 hairs in my korma which then resulted in a waste of money and food honestly if you’re running a restaurant the least you can do is use correct hygiene when doing so.
Honestly, hands down the best taco in Glasgow. Full of flavour, proper fresh ingredients, and just the right kick o’ spice. You can tell they care about what they’re serving. Every time I go, it hits the spot. If you’ve not tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!
Disappointing Experience – Good Food, Poor Service
A great restaurant is judged by three key things: service, food quality, and ambiance (along with cleanliness and pricing). Unfortunately, The Italian Kitchen fell short in multiple areas.
We ordered drinks, a starter, and main courses, but everything arrived at almost the same time. When we asked the server to bring the starter later, we were told, "We can't do that." The food itself was good, but the rushed service and lack of flexibility spoiled the whole experience.
For the high prices, we expected better hospitality—instead, we felt like we were dining at a fast-food joint, finishing our meal in just 30 minutes.
Good food isn’t enough when the service fails. Won’t be returning.
If you wish to sit and wait and wait and wait for the gentle but uncaring staff to finish executing whatever topic of conversation they seem to be sharing, or have a normal innocent salad prepared so spicy-hot even a seasoned Indian would gasp for breath, then this is place for you.
Next time, maybe mention in your menu that your innocent salad isn't really so innocent.

The receptionist was extremely rude. We arrived before the kitchen’s closing time according to Google Maps, which said it was open until midnight. However, when we walked in, the receptionist just stood there with her hands on her hips, staring at us without saying a word. It was an incredibly uncomfortable experience and left a very bad impression.
Never felt disrespected like this in my life .
I go there every Sunday with my husband for dessert and coffee but we book ahead so we dont have to wait or be kicked out.
Today we went there and new rules surprisely were applied just for us ?
I think its the manager, She didnt accept to let us sit in our booking because at 5 ‘ no food means no bookings ‘ , she told us u have 45 mins to 1 h , we were kicked out after 30 minutes because they want the table for dinner reservations at 5;30?
But what a shock the table behind us were there for a bottle of wine but no one bothered them and let them leave i think maybe he was the one with the ferrari we cant let him down yea ?
Never felt this way in any restaurant especially if i have booked a table at this time.
What a shame so rude and I wont let this pass unless I talk to the higher management and report it.
Have wanted to try here for ages and I wasn't disappointed. Staff were friendly and informative, I felt my med/rare steak was a little over done but otherwise food was delicious. The only thing I was quite disappointed with was the automatic "service charge " of 12.5% on my bill - I was dining alone and didn't have any exceptional requests in my short time there.
Este lugar es honestamente genial! Mi pareja y yo hemos venido aquí durante los últimos tres años desde que lo intentamos por primera vez y nunca dejan de impresionar. El personal y amable y acogedor y siempre hay un excelente servicio. La calidad de la comida es siempre excelente. Si alguna vez vamos a comer fuera, el opio es la preferencia.
Tienen muchas opciones veganas que están claramente etiquetadas, ¡lo que es súper útil!
