The best restaurants in Glasgow City Glasgow and Surrounding

I was over the moon with our birthday trip to Bananamoon. The lady serving us was incredibly friendly, chatty and made our group have the best time. She was able to memorize 7 different drinks each time without evening having to write anything down, She was also very good at helping the fussier side of the group decide on cocktails that they’d enjoy due to their preferences. Will definitely be back for some more vanilla panther milkshakes!!!

The only crazy thing about the "crazy caramel sundae" is the sheer lack of caramel. Also advertising cheesecake that you don't have so had to change my order. Pretty poor

Booked Silk Road deli for this eve for 4 people. 2 could not manage due to illness. Manager advised by email that there would be a £10 charge per person who had cancelled as I had not given 48hours notice. She said this was clearly stated on their website and Instagram page. This was not the case. When I related this to her I said that I wasn’t happy as this was not made clear. We turned up at the correct time only to find the restaurant had its shutters down. When I called from outside I was told that my booking had been cancelled as they could not absorb the loss of the £20. I was barred in other words. We passed about an two hours later and our table was vacant. Two tables were occupied with customers. I’m sure the food is excellent. I’ll leave the reader to judge the attitude of the manager.

This was a pleasant place for a coffee and cake though the service was a bit slow. It closed for Christmas and was due to reopen on December 27 but is still closed.

This Costa is housed in Auldhouse Retail Park and not surprisingly looks like a converted warehouse. The inside is a bright coffee shop with lots of lighting. The staff are nice, the coffee and food is to the usual Costa standard. The same can't be said for the furnishing though. There's more cheap wooden chairs than is usual for Costa, so the place feels a lot less "upmarket" compared to the average Costa Coffee.

First time in for a quick bite. The food was okay, I got a pie that I though would be hot but it was barely warm. I had to eat it with a spoon, there were no knives or forks. It tasted fine. The seating are was not clean. Most of the tables had evidence of the previous customer and the floor badly needed swept.

Read your order tickets properly every time I order out here it’s always wrong or they don’t send you the food out the worst McDonald’s in Glasgow by far n that’s saying something considering you nearly get stabbed at the city centre one

The portion sizes for the waffle fries was shcoking, about 4 fries in each package, same amount for large as regular. Apart from that everything was fine

The food is really good x and the staff are friendly x me and my kids eat here most night x we all enjoy the food ever time thank you guys

Waited over an hr and a half and food was stone cold 🤬 not the normal driver trisha that was on who's pronto but i live literaly a 2 minute drive from the shop!!

Yesterday, I went there to have some chicken donar chips & Cheese. I got some smell and it seems loke someone fart but actually the smell came from the chicken that he packed. I ignored the smell and took the thing to home and got to same smell. I opened and got to know its from chicken. And in morning I got pain in my nose there is some allergies. I'm figuring out to complaint to food authorities. Worst food ever

Not the same experience as most people have said. Staff were excellent- in fact a bit over the top cautious when I told them my allergy but I told them I know what to order. Food came quickly. No issues at all. It was quite expensive for what it was, but Nando's are expensive everywhere and I can treat myself when on holiday.

Despite only two other customers in here around 8pm on a Thursday the place was filthy and we had to clean mess from seats ourselves after finding the cleanest table we could which was a challenge. There was no attempt at any time from the numerous staff here to tidy the place up. You would have thought there would have been some training in place to keep tables clean for guests but this clearly wasn't the case.
