It was mid-afternoon in a snowy Glasgow and after seeing the movie Maestro (lifestory of composer Leonard Bernstein) at the nearby GFT we were in need of a late lunch; somewhere can-do, cosy and welcoming. At The Salon we were offered all that and more. Welcomed from the minute the door was opened for us, we found the staff attentive and caring - nothing was too much trouble. In tribute to Maestro Bernstein's New York, I had a Reuben sandwich. Food and wine came quickly and was delicious. By coincidence, our friendly and efficient server was called Felicia - the same name as Mrs Bernstein. The movie references aside, here is a venue where you can feel relaxed and looked after. Reminded me of the atmosphere in the late lamented Rogano. Good mix of people including a newly married couple, hotel and spa guests, and walk-ins like ourselves. Would it be too cliched to say that 'There's A Place for Us'!

Awesome little Chinese takeaway, can't say anything about the atmosphere other than it had plenty of oxygen, or I assume it did as I was able to breathe just fine.
I would suggest if you go in check out the happy meal for £7.20.
Well worth it.
LThis place was the definition of underwhelming. The macaroni tasted like that cheap, tinned crap. Vom.
I’m pretty sure I’d eat any kind of pizza. Even bad pizza has it’s time and place (usually on the way home from a night out), but this wouldn’t even fit that scenario. Slightly more edible than the macaroni, but still pretty dire.
It’s a no from me.
Lugar maravilloso.
Deliciosa comida.
Buen personal.
Excelente ubicación:
100 / 100
Basil Fawlty sigue vivo.
Ya había pagado en la caja...
Horrible - horrible - y el triple de horrible.
Seguro que no volveremos
¡23 libras por el desagüe!
Our lunch at Table Table was lovely. Stuart was very attentive and unfailingly lovely. He went over and above to make sure our Mother’s Day lunch was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We ordered two nibbles to start our evening meal, followed by two starters and two main courses. After waiting 30 minutes, what arrived wasn’t even what we ordered. Frustrated, we debated our options and ultimately decided to leave and go elsewhere. The service was completely amateurish—how can you get such a simple order so wrong and keep customers waiting so long?
We had also ordered two drinks when we were seated (£16 for a pint of lager and a vodka & Coke), and they still attempted to charge us despite the poor experience. After a lengthy debate, they reluctantly agreed to waive the cost as an apology, but there was no sincerity or acknowledgment of their mistakes.
This was supposed to be a relaxing evening out with my wife, but instead, we ended up ordering Domino’s and eating it in our room. I’ll never return, and it’s clear from other reviews that poor service is a recurring issue here. The customer service urgently needs improvement.
Comida apropiada. Non you sauce sh**e.
Terrible service. The pink tea was expensive than the English breakfast tea and was cold, too sweet and tasteless. I was a tourist and was in hurry to catch my train so I thought to grab tea quickly. I have been given such horrible tea by one of the lady. I have paid around 8 pounds for 2 cups of terrible cold tea which suppose to be hot.
