Caffe Nero in Glasgow City

He notado esto antes sobre Caffè Nero. El servicio comienza a deteriorarse unas media hora antes de que cierren. Hoy, veinte minutos antes de la hora de cierre, se negaron a servir cualquier comida salada del gabinete “porque vamos a cerrar pronto”. (Todos los alimentos están pre-preparados y requieren como mucho calentamiento). En una ocasión anterior no querían servir café en una taza de porcelana por la misma razón, solo usando tazas de papel. Parece razonable esperar que estén abiertos ofreciendo una gama completa de servicios hasta que cierren, en lugar de entrar en una especie de estado crepuscular donde solo están medio abiertos, presumiblemente porque el personal no puede esperar a escapar del lugar al final de su turno. Ciertamente causa mala impresión.

El personal era encantador sirviendo a mi esposa en el mostrador, pero le tomó al personal femenino una hora para limpiar finalmente las mesas, ni una sola vez limpió las mesas a partir de entonces, fue solo a la hora de cierre que utilizó una botella de aerosol. Las mesas deben limpiarse en todo momento y el piso debe ser barrido de excrementos de comida, las sillas del club de cuero estaban muy desgastadas y rasgadas en los brazos. Qué consejo, asqueroso. Como Gerente jubilado, estoy sorprendido por la falta de limpieza e higiene, por favor capacite al personal para garantizar que las instalaciones estén impecables y que cualquier asiento desgastado sea reemplazado por la Administración. He dado cinco estrellas ya que el personal era amable y cortés, pero parece ser un patrón en muchas cafeterías y restaurantes que emplean a personal joven que no sabe cómo mantener altos estándares de limpieza.

We arrived for a quick coffee at 1405hrs, I joined a lengthy queue with only two people serving extremely slowly due to chatting to each other. While waiting to be served the staff discussed covering each other on a Saturday and complained about Cafe Nero staff welfare policy, as their manager showed concern for staff working two days consecutively while others worked six days consecutively and no concern was shown for them. I was eventually served at 1435hrs. On going to the ladies there was only one disabled toilet available for all customers. The toilet was filthy and disgusting state. Please see attached pictures. Will never use Cafe Nero again!

Lekkere kop koffie. Je moet wel zelf de tafel eerst leegruimen voor je kunt gaan zitten. Zelf even je koffie bij de bar bestellen en naar je plekje meenemen. Muziek stond enorm luid. Wel erg gezellige sfeer.

Usually we like to frequent independent, not chain, stores of any type. But Caffe Nero is an exception! Each store has hit the spot, for service, comfortable setting and good coffee/espresso drinks. The vibe is a cross between Parisian cafè and 1960’s coffee house, a sweet combination. The small one here by a mall pleasantly exceeded other Caffe Nero’s.

I have been coming to this on a regular basis.prior to starting work. I noticed two days in a row the floor is dirty and hasn't been washed as there has been a spillage mark on the floor and still remains to be there ! It's 8.30am and the floor is full of crumbs as well as some of the chairs ! Very dissapointed in the cleanliness

Nice setting and rarely overcrowded. Annoyed that the barista asked me if I wanted a different blend as if it was no big deal so I said yes, to then see that it's an extra 30p. I said 'oh is it extra' to which she replied 'Yeah, is it a problem?'. Embarrassed, I said no as it was only 30p more. I purposely sat next to the serving area and heard her ask the exact same question to every other customer not mentioning the price.

Brilliant coffee and sandwiches. Great customer service and relaxing surroundings. Prices on par with similar establishments.

Preferred this visit to my earlier one in Costa but there is not much between them. To be honest the quality of the coffee should be consistent regardless of where you visit. This cappuccino seemed to be stronger than before which is the way I like it - sometimes you get them too milky and frothy.

Very busy and hard to find somewhere to put down a cup due to all the dirty dishes on the tables. But very friendly staff and superb Cappucino.

Nice place to relax for an early morning coffee with one of their toasties. Comfy furniture and pleasant music to suit the time of day. Pleasant staff

I just popped in for a quick one, friendly service and enough room to grab a seat. Great location and outside seating was available, sunny day!

... to enjoy a cup of tea or a fine cappuccino - and, last but not least, a tasty slice of carrot cake. Interesting neighbourhood with a lot of majestic Victorian buildings to take pictures of.

As always Cafe Nero serves a nice strong flat white coffee just the way we like it served. Service was excellent and efficient.

Went today. Got great coffee nice fast service. And met a legend called Sam Smith who's train got cancelled. Bad luck bro.. Safe travels till we meet again.

Nettes Cafe mit guter Auswahl an Getränken und Snacks. Das Personal war großartig und freundlich! Besonders gut auch für ein Frühstück geeignet.

Visited here for a break and a coffee, we both had flat whites which was nice and strong but could’ve been served hotter. Had a couple of comfy chairs at the window watching the hustle bustle outside.

You come here if you're in a hurry and want coffee and it's the only place around. Could be worse, could be a lot better. It is what it is.

Very poor experience. Not enough staff to keep the queue down or clear tables. Dirty plates and cups everywhere and the coffee was bitter. Time to plough some of the profits into employing more staff. Avoid if you want quick service/ a pleasant experience.
