Amore To Go in Glasgow City

Have been going here for the past couple of months I can honestly say the food is fantastic staff are very friendly and courteous it’s now my no 1 restaurant 👌👏👏👏

Ordered a takeaway and its the worst iv ever had ,, paud £11 for pasta which was tiny ,, the pizza was dreadful and the mozza stcks were the worst iv ever had ,,, il never visit this place again

Ordered 1 Margherita and 1 tuna and onions. Margherita was missing and the other pizza was missing tuna, been told by the woman at the phone it wasn't their fault altough the delivery guy said he has been given only 1 pizza, she totally didn't want to provide me any help. Used to be a loyal amore costumer but i won't purchase from them anymore

dos veces este mes tomé comida de amore: pasta penne del amore demasiado cocida, pizza seca pero aún no crujiente y casi sin queso. mala calidad de la comida! Tuve que configurar una cuenta y advertir a los demás.

Amore take away Alexandra Parade Ordered Pasta Pepperoni and asked for extra spicy. The dish was not spicy at all and if you like the taste of tomatos absolutely overpowering everything then this is for you. I found it insipid and had to add a tonne of hot chilli powder to mitigate the tomato’s. All in all, really poor and lesson learned.

Went to Amore to go take away at 9.45 PM and it was closed - staff behind the counter but completely ignored us - if your closing time has changed please update your website as I went out of my way to go there!!

My hubby & I enjoyed the most delicious breakfast here. 10/10 for presentation & taste. Friendly staff. Place has a nice cosy vibe.

Not got a clue asked for brown sauce and got a little bit on the side absolute disgrace 😂 little serving was too busy flirting with the pizza guy to recognise what the I asked for also forgot curry sauce on the roll and chips

This is my number 1 place for take away pizza. Fresh dough, fresh ingredients, well worth getting there to collect it.

Always try to get a pizza from here when visiting. Good base, generous toppings. Quick and great variety.

My hubby & I regularly drop by Amore To Go for takeaways, but this was our actual first time sitting in & I’m so glad we did!! We both chose to have breakfast. Great tasting food which was beautifully presented. The coffee tastes AMAZING!!! Our waitress was polite & friendly. Spotlessly clean restaurant. Highly recommend!!

My hubby & I treat ourselves to chips from Amore To Go at least a couple of times each month. Best chips in Glasgow!! Highly recommend!!

We’ve had several takeaways from Amore & we absolutely love it! Pizzas & pastas are so fresh & delicious, and the chips are perfect chippy chips. Quick service & a good menu selection.

Have been living in dennistoun for just over 2 years and this chippy has been a favourite of ours. However recently the place has gone down hill. The staff have changed, not so friendly service any more and the portions have decreased in size. The wait times are shocking too. They are serving you even on a busy evening in the order you came into the shop in. My partner had to wait on someone's fish being cooked for their fish and chips before he was served a single bag of chips. Madness. . We will be giving our custom to another east end business from now on.

First visit in a while...the chips are to die for!! Huge portions!! Reasonable prices as well as friendly staff. It’s worth the 20 minute drive to grab a portion of these chips!! Yum Yum Yum!!!

C'eravamo già stai e avevo detto che ci sarei tornato. Questa volta non ci siamo limitati al fisch and chips. Abbiamo voluto assaggiare dagli antipasti al dolce per festeggiare un compleanno. Tutto ottimo, personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Localino molto accogliente.

Ofrecen desayuno hasta las 4 de la tarde. Fuimos a la 1 para un desayuno del domingo tarde. Piensa que fue cocinado a las 9 am y recalentado en un frito de grasa profunda. Solo pude comer muy poco como la idea del bollo de papas frito que podría haber hecho con los últimos ritos de un sacerdote, y el pudín negro crujiente de Stornaway me ha dejado un poco verde alrededor de las agallas. El té consistía en una bolsa de té para que usted vertiera el agua caliente de una de esas ollas baratas que goteaban en una cuchara grasienta. El personal necesita una pequeña lección para sonreír. ¡No anuncies el desayuno del día si no puedes entregarlo! Si quiero comida frita (que no lo hago) me dirigiría a The Chippy. ¡Completamente destripado fui aquí! ¡Coias o celinos o una camioneta aleatoria de ahora en adelante!

Mi esposo y yo solemos darnos un capricho si vamos por este lado de la ciudad, pero me temo que no tendré prisa por volver.

Came here for our lunch at work did the half price Tuesday offer and got a pasta and 16”pizza. The deal is really good value for money! The pizzas are fresh made in front of you and are delicious, the pasta is good too. Well worth a Tuesday visit!

Twice before I used this take away and the food was always fresh n tasty but this third time I was so disappointed the chips are dry and not fresh .. the curry sauce isn’t tasty and the staff on the counter is another thing entirely.. the ladies who serve are sooooo rude it’s horrible .. I won’t be back !!

Mi yo y mi hija fuimos a almorzar, solo nos sentamos para una camarera menos minutos, preguntando si pediríamos una bebida que hicimos, entonces pedimos nuestra comida y la camarera nos preguntó si nos gustaría pan de ajo si dijéramos que no, entonces asjed si queríamos papas fritas, nos sentimos presionados y solo dijimos a las patatas fritas que no las comimos, pero si queríamos un lado, hubiéramos preguntado cuándo habíamos terminado de comer, la camarera nos preguntó si habíamos terminado, como puse nuestros cubiertos abajo, sentí como nos apresuraron

Yo y la mujer pasé por este restaurante unas cuantas veces, pero siempre pasé por alto para ir a celinos un poco calle arriba. así que fuimos a ver el menú en la ventana y luego decidimos probarlo. nos llevaron arriba a una impresionante mesa para dos en un balcón con vistas al bar y la parte inferior del restaurante. nos atendió una encantadora camarera italiana que no entendió su nombre, pero fue brillante. la esposa tenía hongos bruchetta y tuve el tomate bruchetta tanto increíble y bien presentado. elijo para su plato principal lasaña tuve macarrones con ensalada de pan de ajo y papas fritas que eran abundantes y muy sabroso. gran comida buen servicio restaurante encantador y con un precio razonable.

Compré dos pasteles de queso de Amore hoy y estaban rancios. Volvimos para informar al personal y nos dijeron que el chef estaba haciendo dos frescos. No hay reembolso ofrecido. Nos dieron dos rebanadas de pastel de queso un poco más pequeñas, que eran igualmente rancias. Estoy bastante seguro de que cortaron la parte que comimos y se la devolvieron. Realmente decepcionado, ya que hemos sido clientes frecuentes en el pasado.

Didn't get what was ordered, Pasta dish was not what was expected. Clear as day what was on the order. Tasted delicious whatever it was? Dish received was made with penne pasta and not Fusilli although it was a Fusilli dish.The twist shape of the pasta makes a difference as it really holds the flavour.

As an italian far from home, it can be hard to find a pizza that sort of tastes like the one back home. But at Amore the pizza is so good that every time i have it (often) I can not believe how similar and tasty it is to the one I have in Italy. The place is fab and the staff are lovely.

We had a special supper, single fish and single black pudding and everything was freshly made. This meant a wait for 5 to 10 minutes but it was worth it. It was all delicious and very reasonably priced

Best takeaway in town, great deals probably visit at least twice a week, Monday any pasta or supper for £3.95 or two for Tuesday, and best chips!!!!

La comida es increíble cuando pedí una pequeña pizza era más grande que mi cara recomendaría este lugar y no solo es la comida que es buena, el personal es genial también allí amable y servicial y agradable, así que mi crítica es 5 estrellas

Since I tried this take away I haven't looked back. Everything is delicious and my boyfriend and I eat here far more often than I'd care to admit. The food is amazing and the portions are generous. The staff are all lovely too!

Amore Ir ha sido uno de mis lugares favoritos para conseguir una comida para llevar por un largo tiempo, pero esta vez mi visita me hizo bastante mal.

My hubby and I absolutely love treating ourselves to a takeaway from Amore To Go!!! What started off as a monthly treat has now turned into a weekly necessity!!! The food is superb!! Best fritters in the whole of Glasgow. So far we have tried...

Pizza italiana adecuada! Gran selección de ingredientes. Bases stonebaked. Complaciente para veganos y personas que padezcan alergias así como comen carne! Supera todos los lugares de moda de la ciudad pizza faddy.

Cayeron hoy con mi marido para llevar regalo. La comida era fresca y sabrosa. Mi única queja es que he hecho con el ketchup que utilizada para suministrar gratis (estaba delicioso! ! ) ahora puede comprar una bolsita de salsa para 30p, eso está bien, pero la otra salsa era tan mucho mejor. Mi comentario puede parecer un poco mezquino, pero prefiero la salsa de tomate al estilo antiguo, me temo que no porque era gratis, pero porque simplemente sabía mucho mejor. Sólo complementa las patatas fritas mucho mejor.

Great place to grab Italian food to go. Big pasta portions always well cooked and authentic pizza. Good priced also. We visit it often.

The food in the takeaway is pretty standard fish and chip shop fare. It's not spectacular but it is absolutely fine. What disappoints me in the surly nature if the staff. Each time I've gone on they have been less than pleasant. So much so that it discourages me from returning. There are other fish and chip shops in the area that are just as good.

The food is great the service is great so cheerful the counter staff Fish is cooked as your order so fresh and great portion size

Being relatively new to the area, I was happy to stumble on Amore to Go as it is an Authentic Italian restaurant, with a wee take-away next door. I have only ever gotten take-away and have been suitably impressed each time. The food is how it should be - flavoursome and you can tell that good quality ingredients are used. If you're wanting pizza, or something from the A La Carte Menu, you will have to wait. This is understandable though - with it being a small establishment, they probably only have one pizza chef and likely only one-two chefs in the kitchen on at a time. Will be back again definitely and am looking forward to a nice romantic meal with the other half in the restaurant some time!

Food is usually good - although you do have to wait for it. Last time we were in we waited 30 minutes for a pizza and not only were we not told we would have to wait this long but there was no apology.Service is below average and can be much better.The restaurant part is ok but aged decor which looks like a 50 year old's take on shabby chic. By adding a first floor the ceilings are quite low which means the place is quite dark. There are better restaurants within walking distance.

We visit this place a few times a month and everytime it is always good..the pizzas are lovely..try the haggis one it is yummy! The pasta portions would do 2 people for a lunch with a side of chips. The curry sauce is lovely too. This place is busy during the week at lunchtime. Wee tip would be to call in an order to save waiting. Quite good overall

Dropped past Amore To Go for some tasty nibbles to cure our impromptu refreshments last night. Our food defo ticked all the right boxes and more!!! My other half had a scotch pie supper which was cooked to perfection. I went for chips & curry sauce which were lush but the biggest surprise of all on this visit was the totally orgasmic strawberry cheesecake!!! A must try for anyone who happens to be passing by ;-)

Got a couple of takeaway pastas from here with my partner. Good choice of things available and reasonable enough price. Large portions but wasn't particularly impressed with the food. It was ok but just lacked flavour. Staff were friendly and service was quite quick.

Popped in on Tuesday night, didn't realise it was a special offer night!! Glad we did...spicy chicken pizza was utterly delicious and the penne pasta in garlic and tomato sauce was to die for. Excellent value for money with reasonable portion sizes...would we return? You bet we will!!!

Does a good fish supper, normally cooked to order. A bit overpriced as normally you would get 2 pieces of fish, but here only get 1. The cheaper lunch time fish supper is the same size as the evening fish.

Gorgeous food, great prices and lovely staff. All you need really. The chips arent cooked in animal fats which is great for me being vegetarian. On certain nights they do great deals for pizza and pasta. A must try.

Was here on Monday and had a margerita and pene del amore both pasta and pizza were amazing and value wise its second to none Recommend everyone to try and I will be back
