Da Vinci Takeaway in Glasgow City

Wow! I actually didn’t order anything because the place was so disgusting. Avoid.

A medium pizza from here is 10". Everywhere else is 12" for a medium. It was also so salty and the dough was undercooked. To top everything off the owner is incredibly rude.

Decent enough local takeaway. Mixed pakora is always fresh & crispy and traditional cheese burgers always hit the spot (go double if hungry)

Ordered a pizza via justeat. The pizza was unedible, absolutely disgusting.

The man who runs this place is extremely nasty and rude. I came in when it was open and he said, in the rudest possible way, that it was closed. It seems I'm not alone in this experience, the reviews speak for themselves.

I meant to order from Da Vinci Holmlea Road but unfortunately wasn’t paying attention. Holmlea Road is far superior. So disappointed and kebab wasn’t good at all. £15 down the drain. 😢

Dont often wrote reviews but felt compelled to write this. Quite simply the best kebab and Pakora I have tasted. Thank you to the staff. Your grub was perfect

Takeaway was awful, choose a pizza and got a phone call to tell me that my toppings are too expensive to use but won't give me a refund if I didn't want it. The guy raised his voice at me when I didn't want my order

Wanted a calzone very disappointed was just dough didn’t even look like a calzone

At first I quite liked this place. Despite the high prices the Chicken doner meat was above average. The spicy sauce is to sweet personally not to my liking. My reason for this 2 star review is I've eaten at this establishment many times and decided to order chicken doner meat with chips instead of the usual kebab. All was fine until I asked for some shredded lettuce to be told it would cost £1 extra. I understand times are hard but that's not how you retain or gain customers. A whole lettuce costs 60p. Ultimately it's there loss and I will take my business elsewhere.

Best Chicken Kebabs in Shawlands with delicious sauce. Excellent Korma. Chips, donner, pakora all good. Pizza is a bit on the dry side though and could do with more sauce and cheese. Overall very good and in my opinion the best kebab shop in Shawlands.

I've been only a couple if times but it's great to get post pub food as it's open late. Nice food, although I haven't tasted more than the chicken in naan bread. Good late night Shawlands grub

Truthfully the best sheesh kabab ive had, but thats all i get out this shop. Nice and juicy.

Reading some of the reviews below maybe I've just been conservative in my menu choices and got lucky. But I've been coming here for over 5 years, the staff have always been super-friendly - and I challenge anyone to find a better burger in Glasgow that Da Vinci's Mushroom Cheeseburger. And I say that as a man who has eaten A LOT of burgers.

Came in, asked for a mexican chilli burger, top bun was burnt black, literally no chilli but half a spoon full ( I love chilli and thought they would put more on it) flavour taste was very muddled, and yes of course burnt ( that why the burger as well) paid money for it, and extremely disappointing. They just dont seem to care. Thats the sad part.

Food is great, pizza, calazoni, kebabs are 5star, Relly good food, allways been that way

The kebab was so disgusting I had to put it in the bin after two bites. The chips were edible, but not great.

Superb Donner Kebabs, Very Friendly Staff, Love the place!

Pricks of the highest order. My friend and I got food poisoning from the chicken donner. Had to miss work because of it. On the bright side I've probably lost about 3lbs.

Have used this shop for a long time but lately standards have dropped dramatically... missing items .. pizza came .. had been dropped so toppings all off.. then cheese pizza .. not much cheese or sauce.. very dry. And very rude unhelpful staff ... won't be ordering again.... getting stingy and cheeky results in loss of custom... somehow I don't think they care..... bad buisness ....

Tasty veggie pizza, good service, friendly staff, decent prices.
