This is one of the beast places to eat in or out in Glasgow. The world renowned steak pie is incredible. The service is family friendly. The prices are terrific.

Come across this place on TikTok. It has been the recent hype. However, filters do wonders. If you like soggy steak pie at a whopping £8 or whatever price they make up then this is the place for you. If you like dry macaroni at any price they make up, this is also the place for you and just when you think they couldn’t get a panini wrong, they give you a dry salt and chilli chicken panini that was solid. If you have got anything to say about their food, they block you or disable their accounts. They only want good reviews, not honest or constructive ones and what’s the point in that? Won’t be back for this reason.

Missed breakfast in our hotel so decided to come here with my little girl. We ordered a sandwich on bacon&egg for quickness. After the girl buttered our bread she put it inside the hot area with bacon on top while the egg was cooking so by the time it got served the bottom of the bread was hard as it had been cooking while in beside the hot food. I let the girl know that the bread wasnt fresh now and hard and she couldnt have been anymore rude. Her tone of voice was so unprofessional all over a piece on bacon and egg. She wanted to transfer the now cold bacon and egg onto different bread but thankfully we managed to get fresh ones thanks to the blonde girl in the kitchen who was so nice to us. The lady serving us was called Pauline and she really could be doing with a course in customer service if that's how she speaks to members of the public, especially a young mum & daughter.

I work from home now and I really miss Panini’s! The best coffee in town. The food is fresh and delicious. I miss popping in and having a chat with Aldo and his lovely wife. It’s a spotless diner, reminds me of New York. Thanks Aldo and the gang, I miss you! Lesley x

Working close by I will regularly pop in for lunch. However you walk in to the awful layout where you don't know where the ques. once you work it our you get rushed to make your order given a slip of paper and re directed to a till. Once at the till your greeted with some of the most miserable people I have ever met. I get that they are busy - but you work in the hospitality industry is a polite smile too much to ask for? Once you hand over a small fortune ( if your getting a baked potato with cheese a filling and side salad be prepared to had over at least £6 and if you get a drink your looking at another £1.80) You get given a wooden paid spoon and asked to wait. Having waited half your lunch break your order gets shouted out and a box given to you. The food is midicoa for £3 but when your spending £6+ you expect a the best lunch of your life which ill tell you now this place doesn't serve up. The portion size is good but again so it should be for the small fortune youve just invested. But people will continue to go as its convenient for the 100s of people that work in the offices that surround it. When you leave you feel ripped off and asif youve just p*ssed off half the work force.

Food is nice however the man that works behind the till who I presume is the owner doesn’t know much about customer service, never cracks a smile and when i try and chat to him he is very dismissive. This is not the way to treat someone that comes in for lunch almost everyday.

Utter garbage. Staff are a bunch of neds and male manager can't raise a smile or friendly word. Food is truly awful, and well overpriced. Oh and thanks for the hairs in my macaroni and chips which I paid 7 quid for and that is nearly restaurant prices. Voted with my feet. Suggest we all do the same.

It’s a mystery when you go in here if you’ll get good service or bad hot or cold food. This morning it was a tepid roll n sausage and an Americano, had asked for a large latte but can’t have everything I suppose. Perhaps if the ignorant owner listened to the customer and didn’t turn his back on people when they attempt to pay him the reviews would be more favourable. I will wait in the queue in Operetta in future at least you get what you ask for in there.

Bought a baked potato with tuna to sit in. several bites in i came upon a stone roughly 3mm in diameter. Big enough to chip my tooth. When brought to the staff's attention, they said they'd speak to their suppliers. Still undergoing dental work for repair. Be careful

The staff are really hard working and courteous however, presumably the owner (the only man out of a team of women) must think his customers have a poor memory as he charges varying prices. I normally get a mozzarella and chicken panini and a medium soup which normally comes to £4, today however it was £5.70. (I have receipts verifying this both transactions) It’s known within my workplace that the gentlemen flippantly charges people whatever he wants. I don’t care about the price it’s more to do with the consistency in pricing I’d like to see more of.

First thing to understand is, this is a city centre lunchtime restaurant/cafe. Their busy time is between 12:00 to 14:30. Its an office workers place. I usually meet a family member on a Friday. Takeaway or sit in. It is busy and the staff are under pressure, it can come across as abrupt but the staff are working their themselves hard to get your order out quickly. Another thing to understand is, they make all their food daily. When the staff and manager have time, they will chat to you. Now back to the fresh food. The soups are usually 3 a day and are always top notch. Their steak pie, chicken curry and macaroni cheese are very good. Just last week, we had: 2 soups, cheeseburger and chips, macaroni and salad for less than £12. Excellent value. Another thing to be aware of is that their coffee is as good as you’ll get in the city centre. See you soon guys.

As I work 2mins from Paninis, this is one of my local stops for lunch. Me and my colleagues visit on a regular basis as the food is decent and quick. There is one particular female staff member, slim, medium height, brown hair who can come across very rude! Not only has she been rude to us but we have seen her bad attitude towards other customers during our many visits. We have ignored various situations with her having no manners and shouting etc. This time pushed it where she gave me an incorrect order (baked potato with chilli instead of baked potato with beans) and when I corrected her, her response was "you did not say that" as she rolled her eyes, huffing and buffing and growled at me for a while. I was certain I did not order chilli as I do not eat beef at all so why would I place that order!! With that attitude, she should not be employed there to face customers! We will not be returning in the future. I also assist in arranging food ordering for business meetings, Paninis is definitely out the window now! I would rather walk an extra 30 seconds to Operetta, along the road, which has way better staff!

If you are looking for a quick bite and something that is fresh, then Panini’s is the place to go. There pre-made sandwiches are so fresh, it is like they just made in front of you. They have a wide selection at cheap prices. Check it out.

LThis place was the definition of underwhelming. The macaroni tasted like that cheap, tinned crap. Vom. I’m pretty sure I’d eat any kind of pizza. Even bad pizza has it’s time and place (usually on the way home from a night out), but this wouldn’t even fit that scenario. Slightly more edible than the macaroni, but still pretty dire. It’s a no from me.

Second visit here against my better judgement, my friend had booked for a meet up visit to Glasgow. We shared antipasti to start, ‘should have went to Morrisons’ the meat and cheese was supermarket quality at best, grisly and hard cheese. Four of us had pastas with varying levels of poor quality, some undercooked and mushy and mine was so al-dente I nearly lost a tooth, terrible for a so called Italian restaurant. When queried with the staff, was told that’s how it’s made in Italy😱 My friend had the £35 rib eye with extra sides at a substantial extra cost, meat was chewy and not cooked the way they’d asked, totally unacceptable at this price point, Wetherspoons quality. We decided to skip deserts and coffee/ liqueurs, ‘which we never do’, as the rest of the experience was so bad. Instead grabbed a couple of pre mixed espresso martini cans and Cornettos from the shop for the train home. Only good points were the wine and soft drinks as they couldn’t screw them up. Genuinely feel a bit sorry for the staff in here as they look totally dejected, and it’s no wonder with the state of the food they’re dishing up. Will not be back, definitely Never Again!!

Rubbish choice of pastas. Came here hoping for late night italian style chippy takeaway. Nope, about 3 pastas on the menu. Left with chippy food that was greasy. Poor attitude from lady serving as well - to all customers. Disappointed after traveling a decent bit to come here to not find what I was looking for.

Ordered take away from the website, they asked me to sit down and wait for 10 min when I arrived meaning that I got the food 10 min later than the time I had selected as the pick up time. They were also out of take away sauces so I had to go and pour them on my own into small containers. I asked them TWICE to give me butter for the corn. Once when I arrived and 2nd time when they packed it, and, of course, they never provided me the butter which I realised when I came back to the hotel. Never trust the order, always double check yourself before leaving the restaurant as this resulted in a huge disappointment for me.
