The best restaurants in Edinburgh and Lothian

Tried this place again. First time we bought the Pizza was bad. Second and last time I would say that the Pizza was, about as low as you could get. Horrendous and a waste of money. Has Papa John ever even been in Italy? Has Papa John even tasted a decent pizza? Better of with a budget pizza frozen from Te*co

No sé por qué sigo ordenando esto. Nunca pueden encontrar la casa, siempre llega tarde y la mayoría de las veces hace frío.

Ordered various items for three people which included veg pakora, they phoned and said it wasn't available and offered chicken pakora which was like chewing rubber, onion bagi not much better chewy too, mushroom rice very sparce with the mushrooms, veg korma was OK but nothing special, dipping sauce with pakora had a chunk of broken plastic in it. Overall very disappointed in a takeaway for three which cost over 50 quid from somewhere that's rated so highly. I think am being generous with one star

Es responsabilidad de la gerencia asegurarse de que el restaurante está funcionando eficientemente y este claramente no está a juzgar por las críticas.

This is our first and last time we will eat at KFC Straiton. It is dirty, filthy, a dump and should be investigated by heath and safety and that's putting it mildly!! Rubbish overflowing in the bins inside the restaurant and staff dropping the wooden spoons onto the dirty floor when filling up the container then picking them up and putting them back into the container with the newly stocked ones eugh!!🤢 The food was hot and freshly cooked and because we paid for it we ate it. After finishing our food, I needed to go to the toilet. I walked into a floor that was swimming in something other than tap water, the toilet seat was swinging on one hinge which made it unstable to safely sit down and after finishing my business I went to wash my hands and was faced with sinks that were filthy and unhygienic. I don't recommend eating at this KFC. Too many staff members hanging around and no one bothering to clean the place

Gran comida local para llevar. Comida siempre caliente y fresca. Tenía varios platos y siempre encantador! Chicos de reparto amable y rápido!

There was 6 of us for a booked table. The food was terrible. Very limp bland, tasteless salad that seemed like it might have been from the previous day. Portions were very small - but not a bad thing as the food was mediocre anyway. My daughter told me afterwards that she thought my meal looked like a blob of gunk, but she didn`t want to put me off, so told me after I ate it !... Never will return. I would certainly advise to try other restaurant's first. Plenty more in the local area ! .. A drive thru MacDonald`s would probably taste fresher and be tastier.

Avoid at all cost. Its gone wayyyy downhill. seems like a cost-cutting exercise across the board. There are much better Pizza places around.

Café grande con mesas sucias y comida sobrante esperó 30 minutos para mi pedido que era huevo en tostadas apenas algo que lleva un tiempo demasiado preparado, chica en la caja parece hacer todo el trabajo y hizo su mejor trabajo groseramente falta de personal, no será necesario que la administración vuelva a conseguir esto ordenado vergonzoso.

Very poor service - no apology for cold late food. Not even a huge amount of food for cost. Don’t bother ordering from here as not worth the effort.

Terrible café frío y té de desayuno. El café y el té también eran débiles. El lugar no tiene ambiente, nuestro servicer no parecía entendernos. Los pasteles que pedimos no estaban disponibles, tuve un tiempo terrible tratando de hacer que me entendiera. El abogado era bastante corto cuando pregunté sobre un pastel caliente que pensé que mi servidor había dicho que estaba sucediendo. No es la mejor experiencia y definitivamente una que no voy a repetir

Diabolical service. Got my entire order wrong and refused to refund or redeliver the items. No apology offered for this either. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Food was not bad but interaction with person preparing it left a bitter taste in the mouth. If you have no passion for what you do and it’s ruins a special day out.
