Morrisons Cafe in Edinburgh, City of

Large Cafe with dirty tables and left over food waited 30 mins for my order which was egg on toast hardly something that takes a while too prepare, girl on the till seems to do every job and done her best grossly understaffed, won't be back management need to get this sorted disgraceful.

Obviously you your not fine dinning when grabbing a bit in a supermarket cafe. Easy to order on the self service but couldn’t work out how to add an extra egg and didn’t keep trying as the queue formed behind me. First meals arrived at the table but the waitress already said she thought the sausages were over cooked and asked if we wanted her to replace them…..yeah they were nearly black. The returned plates deposited and my wife and I had to use a few tissues to soak up the grease on the plate. Not great but not somewhere I frequent

Pedí una papa al horno y solicité que se sirviera caliente. Llegó y fue tibio en el mejor de los casos. No tuve tiempo de quejarme porque no se toman en cuenta los comentarios en este establecimiento. Comida siempre fría y no fresca. Lasaña de verduras estaba llena de grasa. Las salchichas siempre están secas y demasiado cocidas. Los huevos se ven terribles. Ya envié comida un par de veces. No es barato y conveniente si es caro y toma 40 minutos para que la comida llegue a la mesa. La gerencia de Morrisons no está contratando a suficientes personas para dirigir un gran café de este tamaño. ¡El personal de prueba está ejecutando cada segundo de su turno! El menú también se está volviendo demasiado caro. Wetherspoons ofrece comida de calidad en restaurantes a precios similares. Se necesita una revisión seria para corregir los errores de gestión básicos pero catastróficos que me están desanimando lo que solía ser un café barato y alegre.

En el ayer, no había cuchillos, ni tenedores, ni cucharitas, ni servilletas, ni azúcar. Tuve que exigir ver al gerente solo para obtener azúcar para mi té. Me dijeron que "nos hemos agotado y no se nos permite sacar nada de la planta" INCREÍBLE. De todos modos conseguí un poco de azúcar después de patear el infierno. Lo mismo sucedió la semana pasada.

I was in the Cafe yesterday, 21-08-2018, for lunch. I wanted something that was healthy so asked for a Chicken Salad, "Sorry, No Chicken Salad", can I have a Prawn Salad then? "Sorry No Prawn Salad" what type of salad do you have? "We Have Side Salad!" OK I'll have vegetable Soup, "Sorry We Don't Have Vegetable Soup"..........."Do you want anything else"? Everything I asked for was on the Menu but they never had it available.

This store is fairly local to me and from time to time it's convenient to go in for some food. Every time I regret it. The person who takes the order is expected to deliver food so you have large periods when you can't get served at the till point. I have heard of a shoestring but this is stretching it too far. Drinks are invariably cold and so is the food. We are not sure what the difference is between the portion sizes with the exception of the price. A place in need of some serious management and improvement.

morrisons cafe on pilton avenue is a handy local supermarket/cafe serving cheap food the food is either good or served lukewarm depends whos in the kitchen i suppose when they get it right you can have a full breakfast for a very low price.
