Papa John's Pizza in West Lothian

Tried this place again. First time we bought the Pizza was bad. Second and last time I would say that the Pizza was, about as low as you could get. Horrendous and a waste of money. Has Papa John ever even been in Italy? Has Papa John even tasted a decent pizza? Better of with a budget pizza frozen from Te*co

I don't normally leave negative comments, I generally like to leave positive comments because I don't think people get enough credit in life, especially for the little things. However, this is the second time, after a long hiatus, I've ordered food from Papa Johns. I can say with confidence I will never order food from Papa Johns ever again. I speak no hyperbole when I say it is not only the worst pizza (and chicken) I have ever ordered but possibly the worst meal. I'm the type of person that will battle through any meal because I was raised to have gratitude and be thankful of food. I binned your pizza and gave the chicken sides to my dog; except the two I spat out for having the texture of a ligament. The pizza I had was so tasteless I had to take a COVID test to make sure I wasn't symptomatic. I then ate on a microwaveable pizza that had been languishing in the bottom of my freezer and was 6 months out of date that was at least 7 times better. I'm coming here becasue my review from the site/app itself went missing.

The worst pizza in Scotland. Never again, not even for free. These people have not got a clue. This really is sub standard

Very good pizza one of the best in Livingston really recommend it top tier pizza for grab and go and very cheep and yummy

My daughter absolutely loves the garlic bread sticks. Every couple of weeks we’ll get a Papa John’s. Always get the same things Ham & Pineapple Pizza & Garlic Bread sticks. Really tasty & pizza is always cooked to perfection. I usually order online & then collect. You can check online to see what stage your order is at ie getting made, ready to collect. I love that! It’s really fast & they call to say it’s ready too. Staff are friendly & helpful. Will definitely be back.

I placed an order for collection at 6pm, but showed up half an hour early. From the second I walked in the door, the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much bother. I don’t live within the delivery area, but will definitely make the journey to come back. Super friendly and amazing pizza!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I waited patiently for my pizza. The tracker said 'Enjoy - your food is with you'. It wasn't though, so I called to make sure it hadn't gone elsewhere. The manager said the error was because his system had crashed, and my food would be with me in a few minutes (not clear how he knew this, if his system had crashed). 15 minutes later (at this point, 55 minutes after ordering), the food arrived. The delivery person said the satnav had taken him the wrong way. But when I got the pizza inside, it wasn't hot. It was just shy of 40 degrees, and had gone dry. I'm all for cold pizza the next day, but I'd like it to at least arrive hot. The 'potato tots' were a write-off at 20 degrees though. So most of the food had to go in the bin. Replied to their order email with this information, but heard nothing back.

I used to order here ever week loved papa johns but then it started arriving with hardly any cheese (which is the main ingredients of a pizza 🤷‍♀️) called the next time as I missed a pizza of my order and polity said last time there was hardly any cheese. The person on the phone advised me he was the new manager and the last one was adding to much cheese and that's the way they come. Even paid for extra cheese🙈. He was lacking in any customer service. Never order from there again so who is really losing out. Not me plenty of pizza places.....

I placed an order on Saturday 9th October at around 5.45pm to be delivered st 7.15pm.I checked the tracker and order had not moved from preparing.I then contacted them at 7pm to see what was happening to be told my order would take 1.1/2hours to 2 hrs.I explained I had pre ordered and surely I would get mine earlier to be told they had 54 orders and I would still have to wait .This was the manager I spoke to and he couldn't care less. I then asked for a refund. I have contacted head office and still waiting to hear from them

Waited over 1.5 hours for delivery, email said 40 minutes another customer lost!! Useless service! Best to pick up or go to Dominos

£18.49 for one of the worst and most expensive pizza ive ever bought, normally Papa johns are pretty good but the order from Livingston was horrendous! cold salty and looked like it had been left overnight. wont be using them again. had better pizza from Asda at £3

Ordered at 7:20pm for delivery at 8:30pm ...at 9:05pm called to enquire where it was and was abruptly told by whoever answered phone that it was on its way just then. 20 mins later get a call to explain somehow order missed and was just being made up and apologised. Would have been nice if he had apologised for member of staff lying to me . Appalling service all in all. Pizza itself when it arrived was ok but overall not worth the price or frustration..will be avoiding in future

hi there, i placed an order at 22.11pm on 21/11/20. I ordered for collection told around 15 mins then asked how id like to pay to which i advised to pay on collection. I arrived at premises to collect order and was greeted by a sign on door saying that all orders have to be collected by 10pm. Misguided i chapped on door where around 3-4 men turned around looked at me and continued to do their business ignoring my presence. I left and called back to shop at 22.40pm and i was told that they had tried to call me which is absolute nonsense as i called from my place of work which has 4 landline phones in my office. so there is no chance of me missing this call. Not even a call to say that i can not collect my order but i could receive a delivery, nothing!! I understand there are guidelines at the moment which they are adhering to but this is not acceptable, to not acknowledge or think that must be the customer who i told 15 mins on phone i better go advise her. They actually ignored me completely and when i called to say the person on the phone replies ' ooh' nothing else. not even an apology, that is shocking. Total waste of time. Total lack of any kind of customer service, myself and work colleagues will not be back.

What a waste of money, food arrived promptly and hot, but, cauli wings were inedible, tasted horrid. Potato tots were also inedible and the cheese was clumpy over the top of them. Garden Pizza was very bland with hardley any topping, there were 4 mushrooms over the whole pizza. I will not order from here again and definately do not recommend this Papa John establishment.

I ordered a delivery which came at the time I ordered it for. Ordered myself a “hot pepper passion” pizza which came and said hot pepper passion on the box. After a slice I realised something wasn’t right as I’d previously had before. All that was on the pizza was red peppers, green peppers and onions! Was completely tasteless! Tried to call the Livingston store to complain however unable to get through! We will not be ordering again when they’re staff are unable to make the CORRECT pizzas, bearing in mind I had asked for no change of toppings or anything! Ordered online so have proof of order.

The last 2 times i have ordered from here the delivery has been pure kack, nearly 2 hoursfor the first but cash was redemmend and thec2nd is nearly an hour, all you get from the staff is sorry...the place is a shambles and tbf dont...

Brilliant food pizza hot loads topping better than dominoes as thier topping is very little chicken amazing delivery within 20 mins excellent service great food fast delivery will order again

Possibly the worst pizza I've ever had and ridiculously overpriced at £16.99. Safe to say that supermarket pizzas for £3 are better. Definitely won't be back.

Wow. Ordered online, collection in 15 minutes. Waited for half an hour and in that time I witnessed a ridiculously large amount of staff working for how slow they were “working”. Witnessed them having to remake a vegan pizza twice because they put cheese on...

We ordered our pizza online at 6 30pm to collect in 15 minutes. We are a 5 minute drive away, and my partner left the house at 6 40pm. He returned at 8 15pm, clutching a Dominos pizza and in a state of considerable agitation...

Ordered online to be told 15 mins. Over 2 hours later and still waiting in the shop - told it would be 10 mins 5 times. Absolute disgrace. Managers/ owners have no idea what they are doing. Avoid!
