There was 6 of us for a booked table. The food was terrible. Very limp bland, tasteless salad that seemed like it might have been from the previous day. Portions were very small - but not a bad thing as the food was mediocre anyway. My daughter told me afterwards that she thought my meal looked like a blob of gunk, but she didn`t want to put me off, so told me after I ate it !... Never will return. I would certainly advise to try other restaurant's first. Plenty more in the local area ! .. A drive thru MacDonald`s would probably taste fresher and be tastier.

I checked out the menu on the window and seeing the place half empty I walked in at lunchtime to try it out. I was asked if I had a booking, which I did not. This appeared to annoy the waitress but I was seated and they gave me a menu completely different from the one in the window. The meal I had wanted from the exterior menu wasn't there so I decided to treat myself and ordered a steak (medium well) with chunky fries and salad & trimmings. With a diet coke it came to over £17. When the food came it was served on what looked like a small roof tile. Very avant-garde but not at all practical. The steak appeared to be the £2.75 bargain steaks you get in Tesco's, being both small and thin. It was served with a small handful of McDonalds style fries, a sprig of something green and a couple of baby tomatoes. I'd been conned. After finishing the "steak dinner" I waited another 15 to 20 minutes trying to pay the bill. Myself and a couple of other tables next to me were having no luck in getting any wait staff to come back to us with our bills and it was getting silly the number of times they said they'd get back to us in a minute. I eventually pad and left. I won't be back. You only get one chance to make a first impression and they made a very poor one. Over-priced food and poor service for a start.

Second time we have been disappointed, for various reasons. This time we waited 40 minutes for our meal. One of our meals was hot in places but cold elsewhere, sure fire sign of pasta having been microwaved! To be fair, staff took a *huge* amount off our bil, and my pizza was pretty tasty and filling. Room for improvement!
