New Happy House in West Lothian

Placed order via just eat. 2 hours passed and nothing. Tried to contact restaurant and telephone number not working. Just Eat about as useful as a kick start on a wheelchair. Won't be using either again.

sublime food they do these boxes of tasters for 2 and they are fantastic it comes with a hot and spicy wee pot for dipping its soooo good

Ordered at 18:30 and it is now 20:46 and still no delivery. Tried to phone and it hangs up on me. Very poor.

Wish I could tell what the food was like but it’s not turned up! Contact number doesn’t even ring and cuts you off, wait 2 hours for f*** all.

food was good and the wee woman that delivered was lovely. pre ordered food at half 4 for to be with me at half 6. had to contact the shop at 6.45 for them to start making it. took an other 4t mins after that for my food to get to me

Food is always decent. Warm, fresh and not as expensive as some local ones! Not had a problem since starting to use them 💙

The curry out of here is amazing! I change between the beef and the chicken. The sauteed chicken and chips are packed full of flavour with a little spice. The staff are friendly and polite. Can be busy for deliveries during the weekend so I normally collect it. Highly recommend!

Brilliant service. Easy to read and understand me u and order from. Food was AMAZING, piping hot, very large portion sizes and fed 2 people and 9 dogs with a less than £20 order!!

£8 for “sautéed chicken” (battered air) there’s was 0 chicken in any bit of it. Instructions ignored. Undercooked chicken breast.

Should have knew with the reviews I was making a mistake ordering from here. Delivery took an age food was cold and the tub of curry sauce if you can call it a tub was embarrassing. Lucky if there was 3ozs in the supposedly 8oz tub. Absolutely shocking customer service when called to query. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and go on Google reviews

Won't go anywhere else now. Best chicken noodle I've ever tasted, chicken curry great, husband loves the special chow mein and son lives the chicken satay.

I placed an order and it took well over 2 hrs to arrive. That's really not acceptable.

Food pre ordered before restaurant opened. Still turned up over an hour late. One of the dishes had spilled out inside the bag. Spring rolls were missing from order.

Delivery time stated between 2010 hours and 2030 hours. About 2100 hours I contacted the restaurant to be told my delivery would be at most an additional 30 minutes. I did explain I am up at 5am for work and was again assured my delivery would be 30 minutes longer at most but they prioritise local deliveries first (they should add that to the just eat system). My delivery came at 2210 hours, Chips cold and food inadequate. £28.00 delivery fit for the bin. The new happy house have a cheap to charge £4.00 delivery. Never ordering from here again.

I always pre order before shop opens and still ends up delivering 7-7.30 absolutely ridiculous service,definitely not ordering from here again.

Not great at all, my prawn crackers were stale like they were a few days old. My chicken and sweet corn soup was so sweet it was disgusting. I ordered the mixed starter for 2, the ribs were so dry, the satay sticks looked like they had already been half eaten and I didn’t even want to try the chicken wings. I only ordered from here as my usual wasn’t open and I definitely will never be back!

Received food unfortunately it was cold, reheated it then could not eat because dish was far too salty had to bin it as it was inedible.

Normally love this Chinese! Ordered at 7pm was due 8:40 it’s now 9:40 still not here. Restaurant say it’s on way ? Still not here. My kids have all fell asleep. Rediculous.

Had to call to find out where the food was and they said they were just cooking it and waiting for the delivery driver to come. Ordered at 17:55 and delivered at 20:10! The chips and chicken balls were soggy and you can tell it was left laying about and it was cold. Will never order again from there. For the price, what you got shocking!

Barbecued Ribs burnt the sauce was congealed couldn't eat any of them. Chicken again burnt then covered in concealed bbq sauce looked disgusting. I won't be ordering from them again.

You're awful. Two hours for delivery. The food was appalling. Binned. When we mentioned your delivery time to your driver they were quite rude. No wonder though. They are paying the price for your inability to provide people with quality decent edible food. We had a terrible experience last time and stupidly I didn't realise I was ordering for the same place. There won't be a third time. Soggy chips half cold. Sticky rice that was murder to separate and the list rolls on. Avoid!!!!!

Had food from both the Chinese & the burgers from their new burger bar! The Chinese food was tasty & full of flavour! The burgers from Kc’s were massive & extremely tasty! Would highly recommend either type of food available from here!

This is the first time I have ever done this so that might let you know how bad it was. I got the munchie box and not a single bit off it should have been sent out. There is no way anyone in the food industry should have aloud that to be sent to a customer.

Happy house and KC'S burger. WOW, excellent value for money, very tasty food, clean kitchen, happy and helpful staff. Keep it up team, you have something special going on here. Oh and the Durban bunny chow... my word I have not had such tasty curry since I lived in South Africa and travelled to Durban. I think you should try expand your menu offering for the curry's. Please do keep the bunny chow and burgers on your menu. We'll done to Happy House and KC'S. 👍🏿

We were advised that the food could take a while to be delivered, which we were quite happy to wait for and halfway through the delivery estimate a very nice man turned up with piping hot food...the food itself was very obviously freshly cooked and was very nice as well...what more could you ask for...an easy 5 stars

Placed order at 18:40. Earliest delivery slot was 20:20 . Arrived an hour late . 2 hrs 40 minutes from time ordered. Not even an apology offered . Such a shame because the food is actually really good .

Majority went in the bin as it was so late. Staff were rude when phoned to ask where it was. App said 60 mins delivery when ordered but took 2 hours 10 minutes. Had to raise to JustEat as no response from restaurant when phoning to see where it was.

Food i received was burnt! This is not right

Food was early, which is fine. Threw me off a bit which resulted in me forgetting to tip the driver which I then felt bad afterwards. The sauce for the shredded chicken was far to watery which made the chicken batter seem soggy. No search function on just eat and no option for all sauces, again fine as left a note and they accommodated my request. It was enjoyable but could have been so much better I.e sauce etc.

The food was incredible, probably the best Chinese I've had in years. The delivery time would stop me ordering again. When I placed the order, the delivery estimate was 75-90 minutes. Confirmation email changed it to 2 hours. It arrived after 2.5 hours. I called the shop to check where it was after 2 hours and didn't get an apology which isn't good enough. The food was delicious but service just wasn't good enough, update your timings so they're more realistic to stop people being disappointed.

I went to this place everytime till tonight I put a order in was told around 1hour 40 that's OK I call to see if its on its was to be told it will be around another 45 minutes I said your joking she said no we are busy we can't just make your order and told another guy I was shouting at her he came on the phone telling me he's coming to my door to sort me out and all this and told me I was a muppet and won't be getting any money back whst I have paid to scoffable and hung the phone up if that's the way there treat customers won't ever be back worst customer service ever

I had to pick up order as happy house refused to deliver to my post code unless I paid the driver extra money as they were too busy to come out to my area. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I would like to take this further and would appreciate a refund one for delivery as I paid 3.50 and had to pick up and for the service charge as if the place can’t deliver to my post code just eat is responsible for updating this site to say so. Also by the time I got my food it was cold and inedible.

Food was great. however the phone call prior to delivery, after paying a £3.50 for delivery with the order was told that the driver would only deliver for another £2 charge payable to them. This is not good service, if this is the case, change your delivery range.
