first time ordering, got the munchy box & was mega disappointed. £16 for a box of chips basically & a few pieces of meat.

Food was awesome but I was led to believe you are closed down and nearly went to my local plz have this updated as I will definitely recommend always thankyou and so much thanks to your driver he was lovely

I spoke with the restaurant before putting an order in through just eat as I can’t pay over the phone with card , i specifically asked the woman on the phone for no veg/ green peppers when it arrived it had loads of green peppers which I can’t have

Beef curry was like jelly. Chips were rubbish n so was the ribs.. the whole order inc the omelette tasted of pure salt

sent my food with the wrong sauce and spoiled it for us but ad it was late there was no way of it getting fixed and me and my partner were looking forward to our dinner after a stressful day to only be let down by double up.

Scheduled delivery for 8pm arrived 8.35 chips were cold bbq ribs sauce was thick like tar and beef satay was disgusting tasted like water only tried as was new to just eat will never try again

This was my first time trying it after a few people told me it was really good so my expectations were high however I was pretty disappointed got the salt and pepper muchie box, the food was pretty fairly priced however it wasn’t good. The rice was bland, the chicken balls tasted like off eggs, the sauces were really bad the curry didn’t have much taste and was a bit lumpy, the Barbecue sauce had a weird taste can’t really explain it and was an odd texture as well. The muchie box is enough for 3 people I’d say if you don’t want to spend money on extra rice. The staff were friendly enough. A couple chairs while you wait nothing special.

i make a order for a Chicken Fried Rice and it have got ham it and tthe chips not very good i will not be coming back

Have used this place several times. Last order was awful. Chicken rubbery and raw in middle. Thought it might be a one off so ordered again. Chicken not much better and found a piece of wire in food. Needless to say it went straight in the bin. Never again

Possibly the worst customer service ever. I called regarding a missed call to be told the order hadn't even left. Call the number back no answer so called the shop. Well hello you again with the worst attitude I've ever met .. hun don't bite at me and tell me my order will be cancelled without looking at your own attitude towards customers hun I've already called ... regular customer here F$$k you Foods decent ... your girl answering the phone is a disgrace

honestly fell in love with the food and the customer service was a fantastic 10/10 the man was a lovely little delight to speak to defo would like to order in person again ;)

got a casual kebab from this place the usual order i do, came with grease falling out the side and kebabe falling out the side looking like a lightskins foof. was then on the toilet all night with my bowels ejecting what looked like shreks swamp water, ready dissappinted wasent even offered a refund, never EVER ordering here again

Well have been ordering from here for over 30 year and tonight meal was worst I've had must be a new owner or chef but can assure you won't be eating from it again not happy so hunt for a new takeaway is happening sorry but you ruined my meal tonight

Just got my first and last takeaway from here Chicken and Mushroom fried rice sauce was lukewarm brown water Salt and Pepper mushrooms 4 pounds same lukewarm brown water 30 pounds and cant eat it I hot it as a treat as not working its criminal what I got served ser

Just had Chinese and specifically asked if the bigger spring rolls had been sprouts in them as I hate that mushy cabbage carrot onion filling, guess what mushy filling with additional weird taste, 4 people tried the salt and chilli chips, no one like them either, and stay sauce was supposed to be extra spicy, no flavour to that, fried rice wasn't bad , rest was binned, disgusting,

Absolutely horrendous delivery service I placed my order at 8pm it is not 11:08pm and my order is no where to be seen after me phoning twice!!!!! Shocking service, never heard of a take away being that long in my life

Food was okay. Our order came to £21.70 tonight and we handed over x2 £20 notes.. £40. Our change was £8.30. It should have been £18.30. Your til will be up a tenner. We only realised when we got home.

Ordered crispy pancakes and they were so tasty I ate them all myself and no room for main meal, lunch tomorrow but don't think I'll be disappointed

My boyfriend ordered a meal on christmas eve and half 6 expecting it to be delayed by a few hours, by 10 o’clock at night the order had still not arrived, tried calling the restaurant several times and the line was “busy” checked scoffable and it says the restaurant was shut! absolutely fuming

Customer service was awful; when I told them I had chicken and ham in my Spanish omelette; with no warning; I was told that’s how they do it; it went straight in the bin; I couldn’t eat it due to religious reasons. They put the phone down on me twice; this was the owner of the business; saying he can’t understand English; when I could understand him. Our food took 1 hour and 30min to arrive and we were getting it delivered in livingston. The chilli pepper chips were soggy, never order again; won’t eat from here even if it’s free food. They wouldn’t refund me either; or refund some of it, never again. Would give no star but so it can be seen here; gave one star.

Excellent standard of food. Best in Livingston by far. Would highly recommend. The Honey Shredded Beef is excellent.

Took over an hour and a half after being advised 50min wait. Delivery driver also charged an extra quid on top, would have tipped him that anyway but out of order, stealing from yer customers! Bad crack!

One of the uncleanest chines take away kitchens I've ever seen. Thawing meat in the sinks with tap water. Re serving old food to customers. Matter of time before someone is seriously I'll. Cook your own chinese it will be alot safer to eat.

Have not used this carry out for a while its standards had fallenBUT we tried it last night and sorry to say its was rubbish. The food did not taste ok just something not right both my meals went into the bin WILL Never use the Double up again.It was agood meal a few years back but now avoid.

The delivery service was good-average but the past year or so, if u live outside knightsrige/lady well area you will literally be left till last or until they get a delivery ur way (I only live in dedridge?!) I've been waiting almost 2 hours and called up to see where our food is... They said aw were just waiting on the driver to cash up THEN he'll be on way with food?? Dafuk, I called hours ago they cuda delivered my food ages ago. It's currently 12.15am?! Still waiting. Talk about being cheap with petrol. My opinion used to be top notch but cap delivery equals stale food. Not impressed as someone who came from take aways, they'll loose money and custom. Shame.

Ordered food an hour ago to then call and be told it will be with me in the next '20 minutes or so' no apology for the lateness of the orde no introduction when answering the phone. The order was placed an hour before closing time surely it's not that busy on a Tuesday night!

Nothing special. Bbq sauce is not nice at all. Rice is dry. Customer service isnt great either and order took a while considering it's a 2min walk from my house.

Takeway delivery delivered. Had Singapore Noodles which was good, however the chilli chips were awesome as they were in batter, nice n crispy. Would highly recommend!

Dreadful service, they said it would be an hour, it’s been 2 and still not here. I’ve called 8 times. 3x - it said user busy 3x - it rang out after ringing for a few minutes 2x - I got through and both times I was hung up on while I was speaking.

I normally order from here and it’s to the most part always good. however the food tonight was so completely wrong. chicken toast was burnt, the gravy sauce I ordered have a huge crack down the middle of the pot so had exploded inside the bag., I asked for no onions or prawns in the Singapore rice as prawns make me sick and onions makes my parter sick, the managed to get the no onions right however there was loads of prawns inside the dish and I’m 90% convinced it wasn’t even Singapore rice (as it’s the only thing I order) this was more like special fried rice. also ordered Szechuan chicken which was covered in onions.. very poor. it’s a Tuesday night and you barely got 50% of the order right. waste of money and couldn’t even eat most of it.

Best Chinese round West lothian, can't fault it. You might have to wait abit longer but it's worth the wait

Will never eat out of here again. Bought a chicken curry to bite into the chicken and was full of slime. Took it back and they tryed to say it was fresh wouldnt give me money back nor did they say sorry.

we are not local and whilst visiting family this take away was recommended. Found food to be average but more expensive than usually pay, some meals at least a pound dearer. The total bill was nearly £50 and only when we arrived to collect did we find out it was cash only.

My order got cancelled I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes because the delivery driver couldn't find the house. I phoned up to ask about it and she said put your complaint in and hung up!!

I ordered from here as my regular Chinese was not answering their phone. First and last time! They forgot to deliver my chips and the food that I did get was mediocre at best. Oh and no apology for my missing dish

Overall I did not like what we ordered. Ordered normal chips, lemon chicken and sweet chilli shredded chicken. Honestly the chips were not chips at all, didn't even look like chips nor taste like it, too oily and too salty. Sweet chilli shredded chicken was pretty much spicy and not likeable as it was sweet chilli we were going for. In my opinion. I've also had better lemon chicken by really that was the only good looking and tasteful food out of the bunch. All of it hardly eaten. Sorry to say but even the lady that delivered it was on her phone the entire time, to the door and out. If available we want a refund but honestly I don't think that will happen. Called up as well, rude customer service, lady clearly wanted to not talk to us anymore. Said something like we can't give the 'refund' because no one are able to give the money and take the food. ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS. This place is opened till 12 on saturdays which clearly means there is someone that could of but they obviously don't want to give the money. I do not recommend this place what so ever. First time ordering here, dislike it. Never again.

Absolute disgrace. 30 mins late : called for status and told another 15 mins (which means at least 20 or longer). When i complained and demanded a cancellation and refund, they hung up on me..!! Unbelievably poor service snd shocking way to treat customers. If i could give zero stars if i could.

I placed an order at 10:30 & received it at 11:30, they never included the curry sauce that I PAID for so I called back and and the woman on the phone was rude and abrupt, she said the driver must have forgotten it and he will bring it along soon, so we waited and waited then called back after 25 minutes, to then be told the driver was leaving in 2 minutes! An hour later and the Chinese is shut and here I am writing this review with £15 worth of cold food lying, WASTED! who wants to eat dry food ?? we bought the sauce for a reason! So we've now been charged for something that wasn't even received! 100% recommend you do not use this Chinese! China palace in Deans is a lot better and similarity priced.

Servicio de persona chocante absoluta no muy bien abrupto no es lo que esperas cuando compras está vacío! No sé números menú y lo hizo conocido! No había ayuda en todo este chino para pedir razón ha ido cuesta abajo! Yo comida para llevar, al menos una vez a la semana! Pero ahora pensando dos veces antes de que aunque la comida es buena justo lo que su pidiendo es conocido!

Comida a las 5.30 llegó pidió a menos de 20 minutos.

Utilizamos este llevar un tiempo ahora, y muy buena. He notado que compañeros críticos se han quejado de tiempos de entrega. Me he dado cuenta de que es mucho más rápido si en vez de llamar en línea. Carne y alubias negras hay una parrilla si te gusta un plato picante!

Pedí aquí por primera vez a las 5 de la tarde y a las 6 de la tarde me llamó ya que aún no había recibido mi pedido. La mujer en el teléfono dijo que 20 minutos y me gusta, pero yo ya he estado esperando una hora! Pero dijo: 20 minutos. Así que fui por 20 minutos y luego de 30 minutos me llamaran y ella partibles en mí y me dijo: "la orden se aproxima ahora mismo, a 5 minutos' y luego ella poner el teléfono. Pero mi pedido no vinimos por otros 15 minutos. Así que en general, tuve que esperar 1 hora y 45 minutos en mi comida y, cuando llegó, estaba duro y cálido como había estado mintiendo mucho tiempo. Este es sin duda mi primera y última orden aquí!

I've used the double up for 8 years and have basically been so disappointed in the take away over the last few months, as we speak they took my order the same order I get every time with specific instructions no peas in the rice and crispy beef bbq separate, the order was read back to me perfect, as the last few times my meal has arrived an hour and a half later and cold. This time in 20 mins but very wrong. I called them they said we will send out the correct items but declined a new hot meal even though my order is very wrong.

Me encantó este siempre increíble hasta el personal de hasta el propietario no estoy seguro si ha cambiado Cambiaban o simplemente personal chino pero la entrega es por lo menos 1 horas y media. Pedí en línea hoy en 5,25 tuvimos correo electrónico confirmando que sería 1 hora, así que llegamos a 7 me llamó!! Sí me contestó me dijo que realizar (10 minutos más tarde) vino a teléfono dijo que nunca había pedido que me colgó el teléfono! Así que sí llamaron a volver les dije que tenía e-mail de confirmación y dijo que así no tenemos que así que enviarlo de nuevo y será 1 a 1 horas y media hasta jajaja de entrega. Ella no estaba interesado en clasificar esto sólo quería que fuera el teléfono nunca lo Óptimo servicio como este. No tienen un aspecto enfocado por si me dijo que lo siento nos perdimos puesto que nos han sido muy concurrido y nos envió lo antes posible pero en vez de websit culpó del etc. ... Muy disspaointed era la mejor comida china en Livingston pero entre esta noche y las pocas veces cosas pasadas paraíso perdido mi orden o estilo patatas fritas las esperas largas y cero servicio al cliente que no volveremos. Así que ten cuidado todo el mundo b el lugar es una broma.

They're food is by far the best I have tasted and tried and that's saying something as I am such a big foodie and usually try a different takeaway every week as I'm quite open minded! The staff are lovely and drivers are pleasant! Already...

Chilli chips which are crispy coated and taste fantastic. The happy meal option that they offer is great value.

Maybe I am slightly biased as this is my local but I have tried and tested most chinese take aways in town and this along with Hong is the best.
