chicken was dry tasted cheap curry and bbq sauce wattery

first time using just eat , but not the first time eating from the great wall , food was delicious and ready for us getting thru from harthill.

Something about both sauces tasted really off. Was really looking forward to a takeaway as a treat, really dissapointed with the flavour and the wait time. barely touched the entire takeaway. Won't be ordering again

the food was tasteless. I ordered satay sauce , I got half a tub of dishwasher. the chicken on the skewers were dry and chewy. do not recommend. never order from here again.

First time off using this chinese , first class imho thanks.I have used this Chinese again and again and again , I have only one thing to say class in a glass thanks . This is a three years ago review and today 15/05/2021 the food is still as excellent as it was three years ago, friendly staff on the phone too. if you like my review please click on the thumbs up thanks

food was great, slight mix up with order asked for chicken and ham fried rice and got ham fried rice instead, munchie box was brill, great for price aswell (please don't change that) very filling.

Very very poor quality of food, ended up throwing away 3/4 of it, tasted of grease and chicken balls very dripping with grease. Not amused

Absolutely shocking food was cold and some of it was spilled over the rest I usually enjoy my food from this restaurant but tonight I was disappointed

best salt and pepper/chilli munch box i have ever had on the road as a trucker. if your parked up local give it a try

It’ll take some beating for my to find a worse Chinese. Genuinely the worst I’ve ever had! The worst of the full order was the beef with vegetables. The beef genuinely was like something in a pot noodle and the grey water it came in was inedible.

Main courses were poor quality. The "beef" didn't have flavour of beef and was very of a mushy consistency. Curry sauce was flavour and tasteless, not spicy as stated. The black bean sauce was extremely watery and again mushy "beef". The sides were the most decent and edible. Will not be returning my custom unfortunately.

Very watery and quite tasteless

Food was stale, not convinced that the meat in my special curry was even fresh. The chips tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours under a heat lamp and somehow tasted off. Barely ate much of it but even after an hour or two my stomach felt a bit upset. Fairly certain something in that meal was off. Won’t be ordering from here again, I don’t think.

The satay was like soup. Watery sauce that tasted nothing like any satay I’ve ever eaten. The kung po tasted like some weird bbq sauce. Genuinely one of the worst Chinese takeaways I’ve had.

Nice food delivered fairly quickly. Slightly cool but 30 secs in micro solved that. Good to see a decent Chinese on the books again

I couldn’t tip the driver as I thought it was a parcel delivery.. when he handed me the food I was stunned. Early and great tasting as always…

We've had food loads of times from here, and usually it's excellent, however tonight's was not great, everything had been way over cooked and was very dried out. Hopefully just a one off as we usually love it.

Every item was perfect. The salt and chilli chips are delicious and homemade spring rolls absolute yum! We never go anywhere else, we never have any issues with any of our order every week. Can highly recommend. Thanks!

I had ordered a beef curry and the beef was possibly boiled 🤢 the sauce was very water and didn’t even taste like a Chinese curry. I was unable to eat any of it after tasting it. It was awful.

the salt and chilli chips and chicken was lovely and crispy and the spring rolls were excellent and tasted homemade. the downfall was the sauces. we ordered satay prawns and an extra portion of satay sauce and both were so watery and bland and the gravy wasn’t chinese gravy and just straight up beef bisto 😂 never ever in my life have i ordered gravy from a chinese and received the stuff i’d put on a roast. very decent chinese just extremely dry as we couldn’t stomach using either of the sauces.

Spare ribs were either over cooked or reheated. They were so dry and hard it was impossible to eat them. Couldn't eat the prawn toast either. Tasted like old fish. The only thing that was good was the chicken fried rice. Sorry, but true.

The delivery time was well over an hour, and the food cane within the estimated time. However, the food that we got was cold, the chicken was dry and tough like an old boot, and even the chips were chewy like card board.

Ordered large rice and chips were delivered, so didn’t get what I paid for and overpaid for cold chips .. chicken was over cooked couldn’t wait 20 mins for a replacement as waited an hour for delivery no offer if refund for the wrong order person on phone hung up.. posted on social media how poor the service was and the quality of food.. next time offer a refund rather than delivering something cheaper than was ordered to profit your business…

the chips were nice so was the fanta the thing is right my sisters been saying that their chicken is being cooked in the same oil as prawns and i couldn’t taste it before but the chicken tasted weird to fight i haven’t had prawns before but the chicken was dry aswell please sort the oil issue out it’s ruining ur chicken and is also a danger to people if ur frying food in the same oil still love this place but fix this

Sent the wrong sauce which ruined the meal, asked for BBQ, got a tub of weird clear liquid.

First time ordering tonight, not what I was expecting but the chowmein dishes has a lot more ingredients than I am used to, and thick noodles, but, very very tasty. although the galic chicken was a bit lacking/anemic in look and flavour, still, I'll be back to try something else soon. :)

Fried rice ok , sweet n sour sauce really good , bbq spare ribs in a watery oily liquid , £6 for 5 spare ribs is a bit of a rip off

Worst munchy box in Scotland avoid at all costs would have been better ordering a portion of salt and chilli chips literally was half a box full of chips then 2 ribs 4 chicken balls and 2 chicken skewers there was no meat on the ribs food was cold and really greasy will not be back !!

Although I know that Chinese food can be salty and we did also order salt and chilli chips, the salt was very overpowering. To be honest its all I could taste. That was also the case with our fried rice dishes . Extremely salty
