I’m sorry I gave a one but let’s face it McDonald’s should just give up on the selling shakes thing. 7.45 Thursday evening and milkshakes are unavailable. This is a 24hr store so the usual we’ve closed the station early reason can’t be used ( not that it’s any excuse anyway to be clear) if you don’t like selling them then stop claiming you do

Some of my potatoes were not even cooked today, some spoiled and the rest good enough but overall the medium portion I paid came as a small one. At least the burger was good. The staff was great!

Worst McDonald’s I have been to. They never get the order right and can never be bothered to sort it. Stopped going due to the amount of times they get the order wrong, overall really crap :/

Slow service, unclean toilets, no toilet paper. Dire.

No barbecue sauce and hash brown which paid for did upset me as makes the breakfast

Shocking service yet again from the delivery team at McDonald’s. Sent 2 lots of juice and no food. Don’t care when you phone just tell you to come to store

The service is shocking at this place ordered food and got half the order shocking kids were very unhappy and so am I called up and got nuffin but abuse on the phone absolutely shocking will never go to this mcdonald's ever again.

I asked for salt no salt and extra straw for the large milk shake only got one each for small milk shake & 1 straws for large as always go soggy which would be 3 straws doesn't anyone check notes? On top of that chicken share box and happy meal was next to cold was lots warmer from Bathgate shop other night and further distances?

Absolutely useless. Always stuff missing it’s really not hard. No idea how it’s still going

The irn bru was half filled and has went off so it tasted like water. Missing items from my order also. Will not be ordering again they obviously just don’t care about the orders they are putting out.

Always forget sauces and gave the wrong mayo chicken with sauce and lettuce extra cheese.

This McDonald’s is a joke hahah! Never get the order right sick of it. Usually don’t mind but when it continues to happen it’s not on!!! I phoned to say things were missing and the member of staff didn’t care and just told me to come collect it. I won’t come and collect when I have paid for delivery! The driver also put my order on my next door neighbors door step. Heartlands McDonald’s yous need to get your act together. Goodbye 👋🏻

I stood for 10 mins before being served staff standing about chatting..the girl serving me asked 3 times the order & still got it wrong..my husband used the toilets & they were a disgrace filthy & smelly...we won't be bk to this McDonald's

Shocking service but it seems the norm in heartlands is just a given its slow service! They took ages for my food but put on the screen to collect it well b4 it was ready! And not surprisingly no receipt for a qr code tae complaine "printer error at self-serving" total joke of a "mcdees"

You would think there would be a set standard across the board for every McDonalds restaurant but unfortunately there seems to be so few that actually deliver a true McDonald’s experience. At this restaurant my food was cold and stale, the burger was swapped out after eventually getting the attention of the staff to receive another burger that was now hot but the buns were chewy and stale like when you leave your bread a bit soggy after being in the freezer. It was a real struggle to get hold of anyone as no one was manning the tills which now seems to be the norm across many of the franchises with the new layouts of the restaurants. All the bins were full which meant I couldn’t tidy up after myself and the toilets were absolutely disgusting. It’s really disappointing that such a famous named fast food chain is slowly fading into a former shadow of what going to McDonald’s used to be like. I wouldn’t recommend this particular one to anyone.

Staff require a lot more training. Ordered delivery, half my order was missing and had to call store to rectify. While I understand mistakes happen this seems to be a common occurrence in this particular restaurant, I have paid for delivery and still had to travel to the store for my missing items. Food was also cold

Poor service ordered to table, 15 minutes later still no food. Had to chase @ the counter to find my food had been sitting. Was cold when i got it. I'm a McDonald's fan but this restaurant is a shambles.

This MD one of the best Macie experience. The staffs absolutely fantastic, they are friendly and very professional. Which is strange to say about a Macdonalds. Most of them forget the pickles, once I got a bigmac without sauce… a bigmac without bigmac sauce is just a double burger… not great. But here??? Pickles in the cheeseburgers, sauce in the bigmac, salt on the fries, the soda not over iced…. So yeah. One of the cleanest and best macdonalds in UK. (Yes, I am a big fan. And yes, same product, same price, same ingredients but NOT the same taste!!!! Some of them are better than others and it’s true. It was amazing.)

I am slightly disappointed that McDonalds actually got my order perfectly correct this time! I can’t complain this time! I have to get refunds nearly every week as my orders are always missing items. Well done McD’s….whoever you hired this week please keep them, they are great at their job! 😁😁😁

Say well clear of this place they never get your order correct the staff can be very rude and delivery drivers can very arrogant that leaves your food on door step and don't tell you they have done so

Some good some bad. Got the drinks wrong and order took forever but I will say that the, staff were very polite and well trained on customer service so well done to them and the manager. The grounds here were in perfect condition as well. The food was fine and hot as well. Not enough parking spaces here it was like miscall chairs fighting for a place to park up while they tried to get the order done.

Waited a hour for my food to then be giving the wrong order and the delivery driver to bang on my door twice in the space of a minute tried to tell it isn’t my order tho he was clearly busy as he ran out the garden and sped of even when I was shouting on him disgusting behavior teach your drivers basic manners

Really bad service and food. Went to the deputy manager and showed him the picture of my quarter pound and he said that it is what is supposed to be. Posting the picture of my burger

Terrible experience, took over an hour for delivery the rolls were cold and no pancakes phoned up to be told the driver should have told you , maybe the shop should let customers know before food arrives if stuff is missing

Food was stale, tasted burnt as well and juice was watered down and given me diet instead of full fat. Delivery driver was a really nice guy that’s the only good thing👍🏻

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered through the app. It took over 1hr 30mins to be delivered. When it was delivered it was freezing cold, stale. I believe it had been sitting for over an hour! Genuinely not edible, the veggie burger had lettuce on it that had gone bad ( black, see through and smelled completely sour), the cheese looked like it had been dropped on the ground and the veggie bits inside were soft and wet. Absolutely vile. The bag with the drink in it had already been torn open when I was given it, there was no sauce or straw. I couldn't even drink the juice out of fear it had been tampered with. I had to call uber eats, they organised a refund and advised me that the refund will be from the store and not uber. They also advised me someone from the saftey team will be calling me back re the bag being already opened. Shortly after I recieved an email from McDonald's stating they have processed the refund. Great. Buth the card details they have refunded it to aren't even mine! Not the card I paid with it for, I don't even recognise it! I have tried to call the restaurant but the 'line is busy' meaning the phone is off. Absolute joke. I have the absolute fear of the health and saftey standards in that place. It's actually embarrassing.

I was getting food and I seen this can’t they clean it, it will only take about 2 minutes there a a bit lazy and there is a brush nest to it and the music is loud and the bin is full can’t they just clean it up and it’s stinky

Chips were cold, McFlurry should be full to the top of their lid instead of half way. It’s just a rip off charging extra for less of the product.

Been dropping by here for years, never really connected with the staff though until tonight. John is a credit to the establishment and gave us really awesome customer service throughout. Would be glad to see him again in future. 🙏 In fact I wouldn't "seto" for less hehe.

Gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back. Obviously they dont know the diffence between something plain and not...aware the staff can't even count to three..nothing has changed Girl at window panned me off when asked if my cheeseburger was plain and said 'there's no food in the kitchen yet park up' resulted in burger not being plain and having to walk in - I can see why they get the orders wrong 10 of them all standing about talking to each other and not one person deciding to serve me. A PLAYGROUND YOU SAY? finally got served by one of the older ones it only taken me 5 minutes all because the little girl panned me off and everyone was standing about hoping someone else would serve me. Think the place needs some management that are older than 16. Honestly these gen z have no pride in their work. I'd be embarrassed if I employed people with no work ethics. Well done mcdonalds you have got your staffing options right again. Very unprofessional workers also shouting and screaming in front of customers. Honestly I felt like I was back at school.

I asked for no mustard on my burger but they put it on anyway, don’t like mustard so can’t eat it. No sauces were given and there should have been six plus balsamic

Have ordered 3 times and 3 times the sauces haven't been included. The order is chicken nuggets, so should be standard. Food is stone cold by the time it arrives, too.

Delivery driver didn’t listen to note I had on door asking to leave food at the door as I have big dogs who bark as I opens the door he was standing on the outside of my fence with my food still in his hand after already being at my door then proceeded to shout at me for letting my dogs out

It was missing items but when contacted they refunded with no fuss, might no have the food but I'm no out of pocket so i can't complain to much.
