KFC in Midlothian

This is our first and last time we will eat at KFC Straiton. It is dirty, filthy, a dump and should be investigated by heath and safety and that's putting it mildly!! Rubbish overflowing in the bins inside the restaurant and staff dropping the wooden spoons onto the dirty floor when filling up the container then picking them up and putting them back into the container with the newly stocked ones eugh!!🤢 The food was hot and freshly cooked and because we paid for it we ate it. After finishing our food, I needed to go to the toilet. I walked into a floor that was swimming in something other than tap water, the toilet seat was swinging on one hinge which made it unstable to safely sit down and after finishing my business I went to wash my hands and was faced with sinks that were filthy and unhygienic. I don't recommend eating at this KFC. Too many staff members hanging around and no one bothering to clean the place

This has to go down as the worst experience ever! After a long argument with an aggresive manager who obviously just moved here they left food lying on tray for nearly 10 minutes while waiting on fries and dealing with drive throughs i refused it as were also handling food without gloves and walked out and as was leaving seen over 20 rats going back and forward into KFC from waste plant across road and didnt seem to care when i spoke to them! Most disgusting place ive ever seen not to mention food all over floors and tables!😡😡😡😡😡

This is the worst KFC experience I’ve ever entailed in my life, we spent £29 to wait half an hour to eventually go and ask and no one had a clue what happening, they got the manager and she seems annoyed at the fact we asked for food we paid for and abruptly said “just give them what they want” we finally got some food chucked in a bag but it was still missing the right items. Will not be back. The manager is middle aged white women who needs to learn customer service skills :) other staff were helpful enough.

Food was good which is just as well as the cleanliness was abysmal. Rubbish on the floors, bins inside and outside overflowing, tables not cleared and the ones that had been were sticky and clearly not cleaned. Staff seemed pretty disinterested shouting the order number dumping tray down and wandering off without so much as any eye contact. Luckily the food was decent. Not expecting a Michelin star or anything so good for what it was. Toilets don't bare thinking about. No toilet rolls, sticky floors where there weren't any suspicious looking puddles and best avoided if you can. Food 4/5 - decent and warm enough Staff 3/5 - quick but pretty much ignore you Clean 1/5 - genuinely one of the worst fast food places I've ever seen

Terrible hygiene. Toilets disgusting. Tables dirty and sticky. Food just passable but not freshly cooked. Feels like they didn't care about the customer.

For a sit-in meal food takes around 30 mins but the drive through appears much quicker!!! The place was not clean, floors sticky, tables needed to be wiped and food around the floor. Poor show KFC 🤬🤬🤬
