Tables were filthy , food and wrappers lying on the floor , fries were freezing and disgusting , drinks were flat and even the coffee was cold . Worst McDonald's I've ever been in . Never again .

Don't order from here! Every time I order there is items missing! I am fed up going back to pick up missing items. I ordered pick up order and arrived at the restaurant. An error came up on my app so was asked to go inside. No one at the counter to help, I had stood there for 30 minutes before I approached one of the staff. Eventually got my order and found items missing again. I am going to dispute the payment with my bank this time. Never again!

Absolute rubbish. Ordered from JustEat but was missing items. Called up and was told I'd have to come down to collect (completely defeating the purpose of ordering for delivery in the first place!) Was told to get justeat to refund as they were not going to deliver. Also, food we DID receive was absolutely freezing. Most of it went in the bin. Waste of money.

A.flging visit as a treat for the kids , food all hot and order was fulfilled.

Ordered the 4 burgers and 4 fries deal and only 2 burgers arrived. No sauces for the 9 selects either. Not one to leave a review but having had close to double figures of item missing orders in the last few years, the time has come. The only restaurant in the local area where I can have a conversation with anyone I know about ordering from and it comes with a warning that something will be missing.

Went to drive thru today gave order clearly paid for the food went to window to collect and it was wrong . I complained and was told it was windy it wasn’t windy . Told to drive round again and place order so I made it very clear without shouting my order again went to pay window tried to explain that I had paid and there was a problem with it being windy , manager came and gave me my money back I asked why he told me I was making fun of his wrkrs . So the kids in the back were punished for their mistake not mine so it’s ok for them not to hear me he spoke softly so I had to ask him to repeat his answer was I was making fun of him and his staff because I couldn’t hear him . He needs more training on how to treat paying customers .

Seems to be a problem with management at this establishment, I love McDonald's, I've been to many. I'm always amazed at how well run and efficient they can be, so when there's a badly run place, it stands out to me. The girl got our order wrong twice, god bless her, I don't blame the staff in many cases like this I recognise it's probably a management issue. I don't normally leave negative reviews but waiting over half an hour for a McDonald's since you ordered when it's quiet is crazy. I hope they improve this place as I can see from other reviews it wasn't a one off. I'll have to avoid this place in the meantime until things improve.

Came to have dinner at 10:30. Upstairs seating and part of the downstairs were closed. But the area left for the customer in downstairs were dirty and the tables weren't cleaned. Ideally should be trading in that condition.

Staff are incompetent and clearly can’t cope with the demand.

I went there I took food but it was cold and took so long to be prepared I also saw driver been waiting for more than half an hour and he was asking for the order me and my bf felt sorry for him as he was nice guy the lady with blonde hair and white shirt was treating the drivers really badly and one of the drivers he asked for drink she said we cant give drivers drink only hot drinks I was so sad for him and she said that they are out of milk? as he had nothing to drink and waited for that long!!

Painfully slow service at night. No urgency from staff in their service.. Took over 20min from being 2 cars away from ordering to getting my order. Drive through display for order not working. Food was bland at best.

Told to park up and wait 10 minuets as they were doing the change over at midnight. They left 7 customers parked outside for an hour and decided to just close for an IT update without letting a single person know. Won't be back shocking service.

Every single order has been wrong and nothing done about it

Burger rubbery, literally one tiny piece of onion and top to it of cold. McFlurry charged for normal given a mini. Chips stone cold. There had been a steady decline over the last few years, coincidentally there prices have increased a lot on the same time.

Got my order wrong and told me on the phone they weren’t gonna redeliver it , changed your tune when I came in though eh , muppets , what chance have you got if you can’t get a simple McDonald’s order right ? Just don’t bother and go on benefits

The order is never correct. I don't leave the premises until I have checked, Everything is correct. The most common mistake is incorrect items on burgers the number of times I ask for no pickles and get a plan burger with nothing on it at all or it has extra pickles.

Really... How difficult is it to get a Big Mac right.

lovely young staff. always polite and happy to help with a smile. used the drive through. well done on the customer service. many businesses can learn from your young staff. ps food was fab as usual.

Waited over 20 mins for a double cheeseburger meal at click and collect . Had to go in and chase order which was lying on the counter. Chips were freezing cold and not edible. the burgers were like rubber and freezing ( cheese must have been put on when burgers were cold as the cheese hasn't even melted and the milkshake was like water. When I complained to the manager. She wasn't even bothered. Too busy having a laugh with the rest of the school leavers to care.

Awful service and avoid the drive through as they often get orders wrong. Restaurant often dirty with tables not cleaned fast enough.

I was rushing so thought I'd quickly grab a burger in the drive thru, Absolutely nothing quick about this McDonald's Ordered 2 cheeseburger with extra cheese and I was then asked to park around the front to wait on 2 cheeseburgers? Then waited a further 10 minutes around the front.

Spending £45+ on this meal which looked and tasted like garbage is an absolute disgrace.

The place is a "night out" for teenagers. Security can do nothing. Ruining it for others like usual. I'm glad you started shutting down upstairs towards night due to this behaviour which shows you want this to stop just as much as your customers but these teenagers need a reason to stop. Coming in and throwing food around and screaming when I have 2 disabled kids who then got upset and we were just trying to have a nice treat.

If only it was possible to give no stars…this is easily the worst McDonalds around. Incapable of ever getting an order right. How difficult can it be to give customers what they’ve ordered?

Mcdonalds Dalkeith disabled toilet used by all delivery drivers. It's stinking. Toilet seat and the floor in to the hallway urine and the smell! Poor wee girl had to tackle that. Be ashamed you lot, users and the managers for not keeping on top of that mess. Staff were walking in and out across the wetness.

Consistently gets orders wrong and makes you wait 10+ minutes for simple orders.

Have 3 kids with coeliac/dairy allergy so have to be careful what we order. Every single time without fail we make it as clear as possible what we want and every single time the order is wrong. Never been to such an incompetent McDonald’s. Even if you check before leaving, you go back in and have to wait ages to get it sorted

I'm a quarter pounder man. I order 3 or 4x a week and have done so for years. I have always thought that the best customer service is provided when the customer gets his burger prepared as he wishes. Apparently those who make the decisions about how I like my burger have now decided they WILL NOT ALLOW LETTUCE OR TOMATO TO BE ADDED TO THE 1/4 LB BURGER. I won't pay to eat a burger that isn't made to my wishes. This will definitely cost business.

The food can't really be questioned when we know it is a McDonalds and their processes are standardised across the UK. However the service is always the slowest compared to Straiton, Fort, Newbridge, Cameron Toll or Telford. So often stuff isn't available on the menu and during a drive through you end up waiting for ages. Order on the app to a pick up bay? I've waited 15 minutes at times. It is a McDonalds but it represents the McDonalds brand poorly.

THIEVES- Today they decided to charge me but not give me sweetchili chicken wrap again. I send my hubby with phone so they can check each item AND THEY DIDN'T DONE IT. My hubby being naive British trust them. I ordered there last time regularly on monthly basis they still from order around 20£ from each person. Fun fact count your share box of nuggets we r family of 5 we never get 5 nuggets each Mix my order and forgot to put in bag one sandwich even though I was charged for it. It would be considered as a mistake but place was quiet So gave them another chance this time they forgot to put one full meal included juice etc. Rest was missing random item. Contacted Mcdonald customer service they gave me credit 10£ but I need to call first uber? That make no sense as it was McDonald's staff preparing order no5 uber driver. Bunch of lazy people not willing to compensate money I paid and didn't receive item. It's pattern in this brunch

the last 4 times we visited items were missing on our order but today was the worst,people complaining eggs shell in there eggs ,wrong orders given out, thay were busy, staff being abusive to each other.one staff member just walking back and forward saying it was the worst job he ever had there was lots of complaints, we go there to relax and have a meal its like a circus, not a place you could take your children, we were there at 11 am dont think we will be back

Not fit for purpose. Every time I come here, my order gets ignored then made wrong or given to me cold. Nobody seems to be in charge, and half the staff are just walking around moving boxes.

Im always a regular customer but today my experience didn’t go to plan. I had asked very kindly abd made it very clear that I didn’t want any pickles or sauce on my burger. Then just as i got on the bus they was sauce and pickles. I webt back to get a new one of staff members, a young woman with blond hair did give another burger but had a bad attitude.

Everything around was closed, so we were sort of forced to get something to eat here. Food was really not nice, maybe it is because I haven't been eating McDonald's fast food for ages anymore and my taste receptors are fully working :D and the other guests were really shady people, the only cool thing was the security guard with his kindness and a sense of humor.

The staff don't have there hair out there face more like a faction show than a work place they chew gum smacking while serving and cooking talked about customers audibly and the management are aggressive when asked to deal with to kids that work there. When I asked one to put a hair net on the attitude I got was 'wellllll I don't have to 'while her hair was flapping about everywhere. Utterly disgusting. Then the kid mad some stories up to management saying I chased her up the stairs shouting hair hair hair this place needs shut down.

Absolutely shocking service. Get rid of Uber Eats!!! Can't deliver food. Placed an order through the app, didn't get my food. Phoned delivery driver who has delivered it to the wrong house. Phoned customer service who were useless. Because delivery driver said it had been delivered they won't refund. Mcdonalds won't do anything because they said "phone Uber" what an absolutely pointless service.

Very poor at quality control when sending out home delivery. Items are missing every single time, infact even when you go to the drive-through, they get the order wrong. What are the management doing to correct this?? Ovo nothing. 8/3/24 update ordered again tonight, and still items missing. They should just stop the whole delivery service as the teenagers who make and pack the food do not care if you get it at all. Still no quality control. Obviously, it rests at manager level, not teaching the children how to read and check a list.

My friend and I went to McDonald’s this morning before we got the train to college and safe to say we’re both extremely disappointed, for starters, it was only us in the building minus the workers and there was no cars at the drive thru it was basically empty. And our food took ages to come as the staff were standing about and talking.

They ALWAYS get somthing wrong. Plus I'm sick of waiting for the food to go cold because they don't have enough people packing orders to go.

What a difference when you get rid of people that don't want to work. The best thing that has happened to this restaurant. But can I say put pepper in the recept machine when in your restaurant as if u do a good job everyone wants to be there. Also make sure milkshakes and my flurry is working. Keep up the good work. 4 takeaway meals bought, with milkshakes. Got home, milkshakes were only filled half way, the big mac meal, there was only 1 burger!!! How difficult is it to put the 2 burgers into a big mac, not like you charged 50% for it. This particular McDonalds regularly gets the order wrong or has missing items but this is a first, a 1 burger big mac. Note t self ALWAYS check your order from this branch.

What a shambles... food was cold and part order missing. Big mac had no cheese. Nuggets were missing the dips... I only eat mcnuggets because of the dip. No sweet curry dip means bland nuggets. Whole meal was ruined again due to lack of care. Will not use again

I am a driver, always I have to wait 25-40 minutes to get a order. It's already cold so imagine the clients what's they are saying. No coordination, in the front 1 or 2 people are working hard and I can see the rest in the back doing pretty much nothing. When I ask when the order is ready they are giving me their backs, saying it's busy. I don't recommend this place to drivers, as always the workers are disrespectful. As you can see in the picture, no one is there for details, for giving updates.

Absolutely shocking. Hands down the worst McDonald’s going about. The managers are young idiots who laugh in your face once you complain. Orders are always wrong! Everything always cold…. The little boy with the curly hair who calls himself a manager clearly hasn’t dealt with anything real life. And to the enormous women manager who just laughs and says ok no problem. Disgusting. Food is usually badly prepared with the ability to place a single cheese slice in the centre of a burger. Nevermind the awful customer service. If you’re going here go directly don’t order via just eat or Uber it’s not worth the disappointment. Even in person, food is still as bad but at least it’s warmer. Will be avoiding from now on.

Won't be back food was disgusting loop warm food ,did complain got new fries but even the bigmac and wife's meal was loop warm .we were sitting were the delivery drivers pick up the food and noticed food for delivery sitting for 10 mins just in paper bags waiting to be picked up food must of been freezing. Very slow service. Self serve machines not giving out receipts and then you feeling lost already but the staff was helpful and hence an extra star for it. Although the food was not great. Fries were stale.

They literally never have milkshakes or mcflurrys available. They may as well just put a sign up that says they don't serve them at this restaurant. It's such a disappointment every time. 🙄🙄 also never any ice.

3 out of 3 times my order has been wrong at this McDonalds. I was so hungry and tired last night, and just hoped that it was third time lucky. Despite the wrapping saying ‘Big Tasty’, & the meal costing £9.58, I opened it to find a thrown together £1.29 fish burger‼️ I’m allergic to fish… Management needs to get their act together, and make sure that staff are doing their job. I have a lot of respect for McD’s staff normally, but these guys just don’t care.

Got the order wrong three times in a row... don't think it's that hard to understand one cheese burger just bun cheese and ketchup for little one. Other burgers extra ketchup mustard and onions with NO pickles. Every damn burger came with zero onions and the little ones came with a burger and mustard twice. I can't believe it. Must be one brain cell in that whole building between the lot of them. Half of them smoke weed not a wonder they've probably imagined that they have put onions on. Get it sorted stop hiring rejects.

Every single time I order from here the order is incorrect! Absolute joke of a place! Have looked at complaining to McDonalds but that seems to be more impossible than getting what I've actually ordered!! How hard is it to look at an order and put the items in a bag??!! Stay away and spend your money elsewhere, at least you will get what you order..... Couldn't give 0 stars but if I could, I would. Good afternoon I am just back from Hardengreen branch, Ordered big tasty with bacon bbq sauce. Large meal,Chicken nugget 20 share box meal. After waiting for 15 min we drove home to eat. On opening big tasty had no bacon or bbq sauce, chips were freezing. Cmon Macdonalds This is not Good enough. Too many young staff mucking about instead of running the drive through efficiently!!!

Ordered online for it to be cancelled when it was due to be delivered. Bloody disgusting. Shouldn’t let your order go through or advertise that they are open 24hours if they are not open.

I went in earlier today ordered a small meal and this kind young man named Will gave me an amazing service with a big smile, and when there turned out to be gay racist zombies in the mcdonalds he protected me without hesitation, well minted, bigs up Will

Went to get breakfast before work, doors locked so customers can't get in despite being open and drive through won't accept motorbikes. I'm now having to go to work without breakfast because of the lazy staff.
