The best restaurants in Edinburgh and Lothian

Amazing cafe with genuine Spanish cuisine. We had two sandwiches, a slice of tortilla, drinks, coffee and dessert and everything tasted great. It was full of other Spanish people, so you can tell it's the real deal. The owner was lovely and it had such a homey atmosphere. Such good value as well. Can't wait to visit their sister restaurant in Tollcross.

Bought a voucher last year for a Christmas gift, the restaurant seems to have closed down so I messaged them on Instagram to try to get my money back and have no reply

We had early breakfast in this small deli with our family of 5. Menu and the whole experience were something out of the ordinary. Everything was made to order and really good, for example the wonderful toasted strawberry and brie filled croissant. We enjoyed also the thoughtful service as we ordered even something outside of the menu. Prices reasonable.

Great food and top service! I've ordered food from Go Goa many times, and it was an excellent experience. As always, food was very, very tasty, fresh, full of flavour, and everything arrived hot. Food was delivered on time. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. Easily one of the best takeaways in Edinburgh. Would definitely recommend!

Tiny hidden away place. Park for free outside the door and get inside. I've never been to a place that sells food and has a full gym right next to where you eat. I love pumping a bit of iron so it doesn't bother me but I've just never seen this setup before. As far as gym equipment goes it's all the proper Olympic bars and decent racks, only 8 quid a session. Anyway back to the food. Quite a large menu to choose from but be aware there are only like 2 tables if you are sitting in. Food was all fine nothing mind blowing but fine. Would come back to hit the iron maybe.

Me detuve aquí un par de veces mientras trabajaba en la zona. La comida siempre ha sido muy buena, pero tengo que decir que los rollos de desayuno son increíbles! El personal siempre es muy agradable también cuando entro. Definitivamente volveré

Great wee takeaway with great bacon rolls and loads of nice cakes

Una de las mejores comidas de mi vida. La comida era muy sabrosa. Probablemente mi comida favorita esté en Edimburgo. Las texturas, lo dulce, lo agrio, lo salado, el umami. Golpeó todo lo que quería. El helado matcha fue la manera perfecta de terminarlo.

Ambiente encantador, el servicio era amable y atento, y lo más importante es que comí la mejor comida vietnamita que nunca experimenté en Escocia.

Recientemente visitó Mirin mientras se alojaba con la familia en Edimburgo. Preciosa comida innovadora de sabor fresco. Muy buen servicio. Vale la pena visitarlo.

Fabuloso brunch, cafés y pasteles - especialidad pasteles griegos. A solo 2 minutos del extremo superior de Easter Road. Servicio amable y gran relación calidad-precio también! Volveremos.

Excellent service and beautiful fresh cooked high quality food... Great value Lovely wee place My only negative on this visit was it was really cold in the cafe.. this meant food once served went cold really quickly.. and I had to keep putting my coat back on....
