After the mystery tour trying to find the tea shoppe, it was such a surprise that the quality of the food was SO good. We went because we had been recommended to go. Surroundings a bit bizarre and there are not many tables but it is excellent. Will definitely find an excuse to return. The ham lentil soup was delicious and the sandwich was amazing. All fresh - perfect. Could have shared a sandwich between us they were so big.

This is a regular for my friend and is well known to the owners. We started off with ham hock soup full of flavour and delightful taste of ham hock. To follow I had a cheese and onion toastie. To accompany the meal I had a large hot chocolate. We would recommend this establishment to anyone and will definitely come back.

Phoned for a ABC takeaway, on a Saturday night, there number was engaged for a while but as I had their food once before I patiently waited for an answer, they explained that that they were busy and delivery would be about an hour and half, they were spot on with there time schedule and there food arrived still pipping hot, their portion was large and very adequate but most importantly of all it was the tastiest beef chow mein I have ever had, I couldn't fault it one bit,I knew it was going to taste delicious as the first time i went into ABC takeaway a while ago I was standing waiting for my order in there shop, it was quiet arround 6.30pm when I went in but when I turned around after I ordered it was full of customers and that showed me that this was going to be a very good Chinese takeaway and I haven't been disappointed,I would definitely use this takeaway again and again, can't wait to try their other delicious food,,

Having just moved to Dysart yesterday, my partner and I decided to order a takeaway after a long and stressful day of moving. Having typed in the postcode into just eat, our address pops up automatically, so of course I have selected our address and proceeded with the order as normal - the same way I have done for years. For reference, we are in High Street in Dysart, not Kirkcaldy, but a quick glance at the postcode would tell you that anyway. A friend of mine was a courier in his previous job and he has confirmed that the restaurant should have double checked the postcode, considering there is a high street in Kirkcaldy and in Dysart, to distinguish the correct address. Anyway, after about an hour of placing the order, I received a phone call from the delivery driver asking where I was, so I told him. The attitude I got from him was unbelievable. He told me that he had been walking up and down the high street in Kirkcaldy for 15 minutes, and that I had put the address in incorrectly when placing the order. Whilst on the phone, I brought up my email confirmation which clearly stated the CORRECT address and postcode, but the driver was adamant that I had given an incorrect address. Initially, after the confusion, the guy said he would come and deliver it to us, but then proceeded to give me a lecture about how I was in the wrong and that I gave an incorrect address etc despite having MY address staring at me on my email confirmation of the order. What has happened here is he has not checked the postcode and tried to shift the blame for his mistake. After lecture upon lecture, admittedly I did tell him to ram it and just take the food back. After I hung up, I phoned the restaurant straight away to discuss what had happened. Had the driver just owned up to his mistake, or even just let it be after we sorted out the confusion, all of this could have been avoided, but I suppose you can't reason with stubbornness. Whoever it was I spoke to at the restaurant was even worse than the delivery driver! He insisted that he's been in the business for 20 years and there's no possible way that they could have made a mistake, and that clearly I was in the wrong. If you have been in the business that long (and have regular customers from Dysart as you stated about 40 times on the phone), then surely you would know there's 2 streets called "high street" within a short distance from eachother and maybe it would have been wise to check the postcode to distinguish where we were? I've barely been in the property 20 hours, never mind years, and have next to no knowledge of the area but even I could tell you that. Every time I mentioned checking the postcode to the driver and the guy i spoke to at the restaurant, it was pretty clear by the stuttering and almost deafening, albeit brief, silence that they knew a mistake had been made on their end, but there was no effort to admit to it. I'm not perfect in my job, nobody is and nobody knows everything, but at least if I make a mistake I own up to it and try my best to rectify it. Instead, I was lectured again on how they never make a mistake and after telling him I was going to be demanding a full refund and ordering elsewhere, he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that I no longer wanted the food (which would have more than likely been stone cold by the time we actually got it) and that I was far from impressed by their customer service. After telling him I no longer wanted their food and that they haven't exactly made a good impression on my first night in the area (and trying out new takeaways), all I got was a sob story about how the food was freshly made, that the delivery driver only said he had been walking around for 15 mins in the cold and rain in the heat of the moment and that I should just take the food and be grateful for it! Honestly, having not even been in the area 24 hours, it's absolutely shocking that we've already found somewhere that clearly lacks accountability in their mistakes and offers such a poor level of customer service.

Went here for a birthday meal, 9 of us, and I can honestly say the food was shocking, we ordered garlic bread for a starter and never got it easiest thing to get right, The new nashville burger over cooked with chips that looked like they had been cooking for a week with the worst salad to come on top of a burger.. Out of 9 people, 3 people liked it their meal, 1 was steak pie and others were salmon. Never be back after the new owners taking over it is the worst place to eat out at in kirkcaldy.

We were here to do the archery and air rifles, and the the clay shooting. What a fun morning. We were put in a group of 6 the instructors were both excellent. The gentleman on the clays and the young man on the arrows and air rifles. We had a tea and a cake before driving home. Excellent morning.

We went here for our Christmas lunch, there were twenty five of us and we had a lovely time. The place is beautiful, the food is good and the staff very attentive. We had no complaints from any of our group and I would recommend this hotel. The tables were stunningly set special thanks to Ryan .
