First visit for lunch usually in at breakfast time. Lovely soup with a toasted wrap. Excellent service as always. Homemade cakes to take away. Nothing too much for Alison and the team. Wee treasure with a friendly atmosphere what's not to love!!!

Love it here foods Great staff are great 👍 😁😁😁😁😁. Love it when I get a job through here . Only thing that would make it even better is being able to pay whatever to double the chicken /protein . But if not 😁😁😁

The Sweet Spot is a true local gem! Everything is homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The portions are generous, and the desserts are next level – rich, flavourful, and beautifully presented. You can tell real care goes into every dish. Highly recommended if you’re after quality food and a sweet treat done right!

Visited Bar Aldo for the first time in years, due to us moving further away from the area. Honestly can’t rate this fantastic restaurant highly enough. We were there as a family of 7, celebrating our Granddaughter’s birthday, and all of us agreed that the food and service were outstanding. There was a great vibe about the place, with a lovely clientele. The staff though, were the icing on the cake, for us all. Friendly, attentive and excellent service all round. Can’t wait to visit again, now we know we can get a train, nearly to the door. Thanks to you all. 👌😋💕

The city of Dollar has a great shop for snacks and sandwiches- Dollar’s Delicatessen. The ladies are friendly in the shop and gave great recommendations. I ordered the Deli Club sandwich which was quite pleasant! A few tables outside on their front patio.

Super cafe, easy to find on the main drive through Alva. Great food from an extensive menu and unmatched Lucaffe coffee with other beverages available. Ambience just right. Fast service and very friendly staff all contribute to this very popular cafe. We will be back.

Really impressed with this small cafe. The soups and sandwiches were delicious and the cakes were amazing. If you're visiting the gardens don't miss out on the cafe.

Ordered the tandoori mixed grill, and it was so tasty! I asked for the curry sauce to be hot rather than the standard medium, and it was lovely. All the meat was well cooked and flavoursome, the rice and bread were great too. I will definitely be back when in the area again. Friendly service too!

Great wee hidden gem in the county. Stunning views out the picture windows and food terrific. Shame it has gone, hopefully not for good

Easy to find excellent location for a celebration or just a break

Enjoyed a fabulous night at No. 5 Inn, Alva. We were a party of over 50 in number, and every single person had a super meal. That takes some organisation to have everyone served with hot, home cooked food at same time! Food was great value, excellent portions and freshly cooked. Lovely, friendly service too. Altogether excellent!
