Really impressed with this small cafe. The soups and sandwiches were delicious and the cakes were amazing. If you're visiting the gardens don't miss out on the cafe.

After a walk around the gardens we decided to have a quick cuppa before heading to the car, i ended up having the soup of the day and my mum ordered a ham cheese and cheddar sandwich. The food was delicious and would happily eat it again. There was a fast influx of customers which were quickly dealt with. The tearoom itself was lovely and fresh and not to overcrowded.

Nice little tearoom and a decent menu. Home made soup was lovely. Can't just stroll into this tearoom without buying a ticket for the gardens.

Gorgeous gardens, fabulous food will be back again. We had a lovely time wandering about looking at the flowers and enjoying the food in the tea room. The BBQ chicken toasties were great and the smoked salmon on toast and the black pudding, bacon and poached egg salad was yummy ❤️

You are unable to use tearoom unless you purchase a ticket (£8.50) for the garden first. Pot of tea for two ~ 2 teabags in cups and a pot of hot water and burnt pancakes !

We stopped for a spot of lunch after our visit to the Japanese Gardens. We had a soup of the day with fresh bread (to warm up as it was a chilly day). All the food looked to be of good quality, if a little pricey.

Lovely tea in a wonderful setting. Highly recommended. Would come again. PS- The Garden is a work of art Very reminiscent of tea we had in Kyoto.

I had the misfortune to go to the cafe with my wife and we ordered full breakfast. When it arrived the bacon was stone cold and rest was just about Luke warm. Whilst there 2 other customers return their meals. I didn't complain as I had eaten a bit but both my wife were very disappointed. We won't return but pre covid the meals were good. Would not recommend eating at the cafe.
