The best restaurants in Scotland

The man that served us was very nice guy and the food was great and very nice clean restaurant . Would recommend the pork bites👍.

开心果冰淇淋真的无敌，吃起来几乎跟真的烤开心果一样，恰倒好处的甜味，点睛之笔的微咸，甚至有一点点烤制坚果的焦香。唯一的问题是口感跟其他冰淇淋比起来比较稠，但这真的无关紧要。同样质量的gelato在国内卖得绝对更贵。建议去Instagram上蹲他们的菜单（前几张图有个针的是置顶，找不是置顶的帖子第二张图，大约早上十点），看到pistachio直接去吃，绝活中的绝活。 黑巧克力冰淇淋非常浓郁，浓郁到了一种有点过头的境地。喜欢吃黑巧的绝对会很喜欢，但起码也得是能接受70%的程度。 榛子冰淇淋也很不错，但并不是非常惊艳。榛子的香味有点过头。 最重要的是性价比很不错。两个球四块五，三个球五块五，比某a开头的gelato便宜一磅，并且料下的狠多了。 热巧克力我怀疑是黑巧克力化了之后加奶搞的，过于浓郁了，甚至有种黑巧的酸味。虽然3.5gbp一杯但实际分量小到喝几口就没了，不是特别值吧。 周末没去过，听说排队人很多。所以建议george square下课了顺道去吃一下，十几分钟的路程。 Pistachio ice-cream is top-notch. Taste like real roast pistachio, with perfectly balanced sweetness and saltiness. Dark choc and hazelnut are both great but not even close to pistachio flavor. A must-try. I would suggest following their instagram page and look for daily menu, and when you see pistachio, just go there. Try to pick workdays cuz I heard there will be a long queue at weekends.

Went to this restaurant before we went to the football game. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a friendly man who guided us to our table. Once we had ordered, we didn’t wait long for our food, which was fresh, hot and a good sized portion. I hope no issues with the restaurant. I’ll be back again.

We love this restaurant and all the staff. Having a complex needs baby with significant medical problems it’s difficult to find somewhere we can relax and not feel under pressure. The staff here always make us feel so welcome and Donna is so kind and amazing with our daughter, we are always given plenty of space for her buggy and equipment and never rushed. The food is brilliant and served quickly. We have all our special occasions in here and it’s our go to for a brilliant lunch deal too. Thanks so much, you have no idea the difference you make to our day when we come here

Average Turkish cuisine. Portions nit as generous as other Turkish restaurants I gave been. Meat was a bit smelly and very little in the dish. Prices are higher than usual specially for such small portions. Staff very polite and caring. It us at a corner of a traffic junctions and you can get there only by foot. Efes beer is served in original bottle as ur is in Turkey. Small venue and not very decorative and presentable.

Everything was of a high standard : the welcome, the table, the service, the food and the drinks. To describe the various dishes fully would make this review too long, but the following can be highlighted: the quails eggs ( from a nearby farm ) in artichoke & chestnut soup, the cod and hake dishes, the beautifully presented duck breast, and the desserts of delice and souflee.

We enjoyed the food. We had one great waitress who was smiley and helpful and seemed to enjoy working their and the other waitress was surly and rolled her eyes at us repeatedly. At one point she sighed audibly as well as the eye roll when we were asking for a wine and told us to look at the menu. She gave off very negative vibes and spoiled our experience somewhat.

The Laroch restaurant came highly recommended to us and we were not disappointed. The food was simply outstanding and the relaxed atmosphere made for a perfect dinner date. All of the front of house staff were brilliant; extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. In particular, our server on the night, Mikey, could not have been more pleasant, attentive, and helpful - he made the whole experience a joy. We’ll definitely be back!!

In spontaneously, actually for a coffee. Ultimately eaten for lunch. Really tasty, fresh and plentiful. Very nice service! Absolutely recommended

Best gelato I have ever had!! I ordered the sea salt dark chocolate and the crema di lemon and they were so delicious! Tables for seating inside and service is very friendly. Quite a busy spot. I will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Experienced a lovely lunch in one of the pods accompanied by our dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it especially when you include your family pet. Will definitely return again.

There are cheaper afternoons teas in Edinburgh but in my opinion this is the best. The serve is top class and makes this worth every penny. We also added a glass of champagne, and this just made it perfect. There's plenty to eat, so much in fact I didn't manage to eat it all. They are also great at boxing up anything you can't finish so that you can enjoy it at home. This is our Once-a-year-at-Christmas treat, and I look forward to it all year. Treat yourself. You'll not regret it!
