Never had haggis before but ordered the Scottish Stack. It was fantastic and best cappuccino I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely café especially for a single mum! Big toilet where the buggy fits, a changing table for the baby, lovely staff who sang to my son for his first birthday; truly a lovely place with great food, fast service, 10/10!

A delicious Scottish breakfast is where it happens, a cozy atmosphere with this decoration which reminds us of a soft and comfortable living room. On a melodious background. A hearty and well presented breakfast accompanied by its timeless English tea. Everything is there to make this place an address not to be missed when passing through Edinburgh.

Price-performance simply TOP. Tried several cafes, but this was the best. Portions are large and the selection is great. Highly recommend the porridge and the club toast. Service was also very attentive and nice.

Lovely cafe. Staff really helpful, scones are absolutely delicious and come warm, great coffee, pleasant decor, good atmosphere and nice toilets. A perfect stop off, no complaints at all. Will definitely be back.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Food was superb and service was amazing. I had two little kids with me when I visited this place. The servers immediately gave me toys and books to keep the kids busy while waiting for the food. This is super helpful, not just for me, but for the other customers as well. Happy kids, happy atmosphere, right? The children were entertained while waiting for our food that are all freshly made. Two of the people in our group came back to this place again because they were so pleased with their food. Again, I cannot recommend this place enough. 😍😍😍

Cafe located on the Royal Mile. Even if it is focused on tourism, in terms of service it is very good since he was attentive and quick to serve you. Regarding the environment, it is adequate. Chamomile and American coffee were ok but the hot chocolate served was very runny and tasted more like a milkshake than a chocolate.

We visited the cafe twice while we were in the city. The staff are very friendly and remembered us from our visit the day before. Will definitely be visiting again.

Our server was amazing! At least 6 tables sat all at once. He kept smiling and provided excellent service. Oh did I mention the food was Amazing??

Stopped in Cafe Edinburgh for a quick bite to eat. The portion sizes are large and priced fairly well! I was surprised how big my sandwich was! Def come hungry or save some for later! Service was great and fast too! The staff is lovely.

Incredibly great, cozy café. Very nice service, the decor is cozy. Great breakfast, we really enjoyed it, it was very tasty. A bit chilly in temperature, but that's how it is in every venue in Edinburgh. Highly recommended!

A good place to enjoy a good Scottish breakfast. The Haggis turns out particularly good. The prices are a tad high (I'd swear breakfast costs £15).

We visited this cafe twice on our trip for breakfast It's a nice comfy place to sit. The staff were helpful and friendly. The service was fast no waiting. They have a separate Gluten free menu with plenty to choose from.

Went for breakfast on New years day morning. Perfect . Service was impeccable and the food and drinks were amazing. That Scottish stack breakfast is amazing.

A place that after a while you start to call "home". Good cappuccino according to the Italian standard. Nice selection of cakes. Tip: when you have a full breakfast, eat it between two unless you have been fasting for a day.

Excellent breakfast right on the Royal Mile, with a nice, warm interior with plenty of room, delicious food, great coffee and tea, and wonderfully friendly staff. The full breakfast stack is fantastic, each item cooked perfectly. The American breakfast, and French toast were both great, as well.

I visited this beautiful place after a trip in the centre and I closed my day with the best cup of double espresso! I liked the energy, atmosphere and the decoration is amazing!! I had a delicious breakfast with them. I ordered eggs with avocado, salmon, and tea for 17 pounds They are nice and helpful. I enjoyed the food. The restaurant also has free internet and free water

Great little cafe right on the high street! I had the breakfast sandwich, my wife had Egg Royale Benedict. Both were great. My wife has a gluten allergy, and they had a great gf menu. Just know however cross contamination is an issue if you’re very sensitive, as they don’t have a separate grill/kitchen area. The staff was knowledgeable tho and made this clear before we ordered. Would definitely come back!

We visited as a family with young children last week in our half term. The kids were given boxes on arrival with fruit shoots in before we ordered and games to occupy them. What a lovely gentleman Huseyin was, very friendly and the service was great. We had drinks and cakes which were delicious. Wish we had lunch in there as the food looked amazing! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Very decent food considering the price, the staff is very friendly and listens to the customer. The only small problem is when you are near the front door and other guests don't close the door even though it's cold outside. The door must be able to close automatically after opening to make it more pleasant for people near the door. Despite this drawback I recommend going to take a look.

We went for breakfast. Sourdough toast is legendary. Filter coffee was delicious. Prices were reasonable, service was great. Especially Hüseyin Bey was very interested. I definitely recommend

Hubby and I had lunch here on our way to see the castle. The staff were friendly. We sat outside and people watched while eating. You can pay with credit card.

Love this place, they serve amazing gluten free food. Would highly recommend this to anyone with celiac/gluten intolerance and has specific dietary requirements! My only caveat is that there was a slightly weird smell as soon as I walked in the restaurant, so I decided to sit outside to avoid the smell...

We visited here yesterday around 12ish yesterday it a small cafe but it goes back with a larger seating area. Helpful staff had large menu choices for breakfast, lunch snacks cakes and drinks ! Enjoyed Scottish breakfast pancakes all freshly made and very quickly too ! Well presented and good value ! Nice independent cafe which throughly support over chain cafes!

Worst experience ever! The manager is out of her mind trying to prove her rights even if she's wrong! Absolutely disgusting atmosphere. Her pretended so called politeness is as fake as her smile. No wonder staff changes there as scottish weather does.

Cafeteria for super breakfasts! There are all types, from the classic Scottish and American ones, to the sweet ones, with various types of cakes. The cappuccino and coffee are also good. Advised.

A nice cafe, wasn’t too busy when we visited around 9am. We had a Full Scotch Breakfast and Eggs Benedict, with Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino. Everything was superb and the service was fairly quick. Only downside was the price, £42 for a breakfast, but expect nothing other in Edinburgh.

We already loved every place we visited in Edinburgh and fell in love with this city. However, when we sat down at this café to rest, we fell in love with it all over again. The two young Turkish staff members were extremely kind and attentive, promptly fulfilling all our requests. Because of this, if I return to Edinburgh, this will be one of the first places I visit. A perfect 10 out of 10, and the cake they recommended was absolutely delicious.

Got the American breakfast - a TON of food and huge cappucino but was delicious and great spot near all the tourist attractions

The typical place with low quality food at unfair prices with the confidence that the tourist is passing through and will not leave a review like I do now. Find out that very close there are many better alternatives. But the people were friendly and helped me charge my phone.

Disappointing experience. I don't understand the good reviews, the food wasn't tasty nor good, it was okay but it didn't feel like actual restaurant food. Maybe it depends on the dishes? Many other places here for scrumptious and homemade food.I went here because there was too much queuing for the Edinburgh larder, but I will wait for the larder next time. On a better note, the staff was great! Very lovely, professional and kind. Amazing service.

Cooked breakfast passable but over priced, option for a small fry would be nice. Staff friendly but completely messed up order so had to wait again. Ambience meh. Toasted sourdough was more like huge lump of sourdough with slightly burnt edges

Been here a few times for breakfast and can’t fault it! From the staff to the food it’s the whole package! In fact we are sat here now waiting for scrambled eggs and bacon, American style!

The manager is an absolute monster. She was extremely rude, mean, and inappropriate. I nearly cried she made me feel so awful. Reply: thank you for your reply. I assure you my review is not fake. I was there on the morning of August 4th. The incident had to do with the fire alarm. The manager accused my family of tampering with and breaking the fire alarm and was extremely rude. After telling me off she walked away leaving me speechless. You will see from the camera footage that nothing was done intentionally to break your fire alarm.

There is a very large gluten-free menu here. The food was very tasty and varied. We can highly recommend the café for people with celiac disease. The staff is trained and very friendly to their guests. Thank you very much for that.

We stopped twice to eat the Roasted Chicken Salad.

This is a nice little spot on the Royal Mile. We just got a couple cocktails and dessert. The Queen Victoria cake was rich and Pecan Coconut Brownie was very flavorful. The staff was friendly and attentive.
