The best restaurants in Derry Western NI

One of the cleanest places I have stayed. We had a double and a twin bed and the room was large enough not to trip over each other. Bathroom with a nice shower. Good continental breakfast. Though not available in room, coffee, tea and hot chocolate easily accessible downstairs 24 hours. Great location very near to city center and most important sites. Easy parking for car on street. Absolutely a great place to stay!

Sólo cayó en Bar Dukes para una rápida pinta antes de llegar el tren a casa. La categoría de 5 estrellas es para el Guinness. Nunca he probado una pinta de stout tan bueno como este. Media docena de intenciones de estar en el bar cuando fui, principalmente hablar de fútbol. Parecía un tipo simpático camarero de colega y me agradeció en mi camino de salida.

From the outside this bar doesn’t look too promising, but we were pleased we ventured inside. It has a stylish and well decorated interior. We visited twice during our visit to Derry for a pre-dinner drink. The prosecco was good value at £6 for a 20cl bottle. The staff were very attentive and professional.

Been here many a time, always 10/10 in every aspect. Not to me missed

Great Thai food, and fantastic value for money. I would say, one portion would feed 2 people. Honestly, it was the most I've ever had in a single portion. It's a very small team but they are super friendly, and they get the food out as soon as they can. Will definitely be back.

We really wanted to find a locals pub with live music. Didn’t fancy the touristy bars in the centre. This was one of the friendliest bars we found on our tour of Ireland. Great atmosphere and live music on the Friday night we visited. Couldn’t fault our night in here. Superb Guinness. Many thanks to the staff and locals for a memorable night.

Super tasty food you can enjoy while seated in a quirky old bus overlooking the moored boats. Friendly staff and an overall nice atmosphere. While a bit pricey, I'd recommend upgrading the fries!

I called in here for a quick Sunday breakfast with the husband and kiddo and I was blown away by the delicious food. A real gem of a cafe - will be back for sure.

Beautiful food, tacos were top drawer, clean fresh, lovely flavour. Good beats on in the background. Would go back again
