Food is so tasty Have to queue but worth the wait Really well priced

We've been here two evenings in a row. Both times, there was a line but the stuff is super quick while being super nice. We really enjoyed the food and would recommend the place anytime. You can also eat there but it might be a bit busy. Prices are absolutely fair, I would even say it's pretty cheap.

Mexican fast food in amazing good quality… I had the vegan burrito in small and it was very good and good prices (3 burritos with a soft drink for 20pounds).

Stunning burritos at reasonable prices and very popular in Derry. There are many other things on the menu to try as well. There is normally a queue here, but it moves fairly quickly. You can order online and then collect, which is much quicker. It never disappoints, and the service is excellent. If you have never tried Guapo, I highly recommend. There are a number of seats inside, so you can eat in if required.

If you are looking for excellent Mexican style food, Guapo is a must visit. I have eaten here several times, and I give it 10 out of 10. The food is very tasty, and the Jerrito Cola drink is very good. Definitely going back.

One of the best places in Ireland for mexican food that is also very reasonable on prices.

So far they have resisted my attempts to get them to rebrand their guacamole as 'gaupomole' but if you speak quietly you can still get away with it. The staff are super kind and will also apply their burrito wrapping (guapping) skills to anything roughly burrito sized that you bring in from home and just charge you the cost of the tinfoil. This saved me a lot of time and money when doing my Christmas shopping. I got the gaupistas to guap all my family's gifts (apologies to my cousin Guandrew a moment's inattention was the reason I got spicy beans on your HMV vouchers)

Won't come back through Derry without a stop at this place, worth the queues!

Excellent and fresh food for a reasonable price!!!!!

Fantastic place to eat, despite the huge queues. Staff are super friendly and helpful especially if your new to the place and unsure what to get. They'll talk you through all the popular options and advise you what goes with what. There are 5 different meats available with the option to have a mix of them all, plus a huge choice of sauces / salsa etc. All in all definitely one of the better places to eat on our town. The local chop shops would need to up there game to compete with these guys!

We went here twice in the two days we were in Derry for, it was that good! We had the two foot long burrito each time, and left absolutely stuffed after splitting it between us. They didn’t charge us any extra for any meats or guacamole etc., and we had literally everything on the menu in our burrito each time. Number one honeymoon destination in Ireland, would recommend to everyone!

Great food at a reasonable price.

Guapo is a local favourite and regularly has a queue down the street. Staff are very efficient so the queue moves fast. They offer a great selection of food with plenty of salsa and fillings to choose from. Food is reasonably priced and would come here again to try something different.

Best Burrito I've had in a long time, very freash

We came across this place by accident to have lunch and we were not disappointed. There was a queue at lunch time but it’s definitely worth the wait. My husband got the biggest burrito he’s ever ordered - called “big guapo”. It was massive and very tasty. The nachos were also very good and you should try their soft drinks. They have a kids menu which is always a plus. The people working there were very friendly and helped us with our choice.

Best food in derry, good variety, possibly the busiest take away in Ireland, everyone loves it.

There’s a line for a reason, full of flavour and very reasonably priced you can get a 24 inch burrito pack it with whatever you want and it’ll only be like 12 quid, mad. Get yourself down

Now I've only been the once when I was passing through Derry there yesterday. Got a burrito and I stupidly forgot to get sour cream in it which is normally a key ingredient for me, but it was still absolutely delicious and possibly the nicest burrito I've ever had!

Their burritos are excellent and the ingredients very good. I had some tortilla chips which were fine. The guacamole with them hinted at avocado, not very good. I’m not sure what the flavour was. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t guacamole. Sometimes the avocados are to ripe and you lose flavour so it has more of a sour taste. You have to add things. It’s always a gamble. Still only quick burrito in town, I recommend it. SUPER NICE STAFF HERE!

I ordered a vegetarian burrito online and picked it up. When I was earing it at home, I ended up biting into a big piece of chicken. Really disappointed, I used to eat here lots years ago. It was only one piece of chicken in the burrito which I assume fell into another tray of stuff or was somehow dropped onto the burrito? But they should be more careful with that, I specifically ordered the vegetarian burrito, I ended up not being able to finish it

Food was great and so cheap compared to Mexicans in the South and the staff were so quick and efficient. Managed to get there just before a huge line started out the door, but the staff were so efficient they got through the line quick enough. If I’m in Derry again I’ll definitely give a visit

Unbelievable burritos, with juicy meat and a lovely selection of fresh fillings. Friday specials are always delicious. Portions are almost comically big. Only get the burrito bowl if you skipped breakfast. The prices are very low considering, and it's excellent value. The staff are so friendly and obliging, it's always a treat to go in here and don't worry if you see a queue because it will move quick and it's worth the wait! All in all I've probably been to Guapo more than any other food place in my life since they opened. There isn't a bad word to be said about it.

Who doesn't like guapo. What a recipe this place has. Quality takeaway food at great prices which is great. It's competing with the Derry 'chinese' as a staple in any Derry persons takeaway menu

Here is an authentic Mexican restaurant in Derry, with very tasty offerings from, carnitas, barbacoa, pollo and lots of other selections. And for the huge servings and delicious food, their price is pretty humble. If you happen to be in Derry then this is a must try.

For food to go this is my favorite place, the food is very nice, and extremely filling, however, when sitting in, the seats aren't very comfortable, it can feel cramped and very busy. I don't sit in when I eat guapo so this doesn't affect me and many others.

Found on Google when searching the area seen a que outside so had to be popular so went in for lunch they have a great set up that you order what you want and it's made there and then and you pay and the next customer is served without standing around, the service was good ,the price is very reasonable and the food is excellent a must try when visiting the city.
