Beautiful food, lovely host. Great atmosphere

I had the jollof rice and grilled chicken and I must say the food is amazing 👏. The portion was good and was able to eat 3 separate times from it. Lovely food!!

I came all the way from Washington DC to eat the best chicken and Jollof rice. The restaurant is clean, the decor is beautiful , they even have a photo wall for those IG influencers. I had the opportunity to meet Sandy, her smile was welcoming before I told her I was back again. Perfect comfort food packed with flavor 10/10. You must try if you are in the London Derry area.

I walked in and got a Jolof with chicken and an extra meat pie. First time having Nigerian food. Dear lord that's some savage rice. Thanks guys. I know where I'll come if I'm back in Derry!!!

Through my haunting for African Resturants in Northern Ireland and Ireland this is by far Officially the best African Restaurant in Northern Ireland “Sandys AFrican Food Hub” If you are a foodie in Northern Ireland and do not mind travelling for good African food, it is a place to be. The ambience 5⭐️ The food 5⭐️ Customer Service 5⭐️

Had a friend tell us about here and not had goat in ages so wanted to try. Got the goat soup which was amazing. The soups listed as spicy and is really spicy was great. We got the jollof rice and chicken and fish platter too both we're great but if you're funny about bones in fish I wouldn't get it (though it's a shame for you as the fish flavour was great)

Large portions and delicious food! I ordered online and food was ready at expected time. Highly recommend!

First of all it was a friendly welcome in the restaurant and very beautifully decorated! We ordered Okro with Garri & Porridge yam with fish. It was freshly made, plated up with love and tasted just amazing. Would definitely recommend trying their delicious food! On top of that our wee daughter was treated so friendly, danced with and cared for. We will come back to such a lovely restaurant!

Good quiet environment with afrobeat music gives you a feeling of Nigeria. Delicious food with good presentation. Make sure you get some water before eating as the food can be very hot. Excellent customer service; that will make me go back again .

Amazing food and wonderful service, would 100% recommend.

Me and my partner went a wee while back and I just hadn’t properly gotten a chance to sit down and write a proper wee review. Everything was absolutely beautiful. The chicken and jollof rice were cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. The chicken sauce was so so nice and it was lovely to try Nigerian coke which I was a big fan of as there’s just something about coke in a glass bottle that just tastes nicer! The man who served us was absolutely lovely and the customer service was incredible, unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he was a wonderful host! The only thing I’d say could possibly put people off going from the city is the location as it can be a bit out of the way for some people and perhaps the location from the city’s past during the troubles but there’s no doubt that things have changed from the city’s troubled past and things aren’t the way that they used to be. The restaurant is a wonderful addition to the city and I truly hope that it’s here to stay!

Great food and very friendly staff, highly recommend!

Extremely nice environment with very fabulous African food.

We placed the order at 7.40. Understood the meal would take up to 45 minutes to create. 30£ for a single dish , assumed the portion size would cater for more than one. Had to call the restaurant 3 times as the delivery driver kept getting lost. Order arrived 2 and a half hours later. The 30£ portion wasn't enough to feed one. The onions were raw, the flavours didn't go together. Awful. Half of the meat in the dish was raw. One of the worst tasting things ever, along with the portion size. offered a few different people tasters, they weren't amused . So dissatisfied. Never again.
