Beautiful food, thoroughly reccomend!

Cannot recommend trying the food enough. Up there with the best Thai restaurants we've been to in Australia. We ate here on our first night in Derry as we were staying across the road. We had to come back for more on our second night as it was so good. Great value and great customer service. They're not lying when they say the spice level packs a punch! If in doubt, I'd recommend going for mild.

Hands down THE best Thai food I’ve ever had! They always give very generous portions which is great if you want leftovers for the next day. The staff are extremely friendly. All the dishes I have tried have been amazing and each time I order from here I’m never disappointed. Would highly recommend!

Very good and authentic thai food with burst of flavours and spiciness level that was just up to asian standard. Very big portion that we have plenty of leftovers. Just ate right in front of the shop and the owners were very friendly and offered us free drinks as well. Will definitely recommend

This is the best Thai food I ever had. The staff are lovely and friendly. Of all the different dishes I have tried not one has disappointed me. I highly recommend. Order early as they are so busy and sells out fast every evening.

Honestly the nicest Thai food in the town. Have been a regular customer now since opening and have tried any new dish added to the menu. Each has been as delicious as the last, with very generous portions. Lovely owners who appreciate authentic and quality Thai cuisine cooked to the highest standard. Don’t waste your time with anywhere else.

Ridiculously good Thai food from an amazing small van in our town. The best Thai food in the town and I love coming back. Can’t wait to continuing to go through the entire menu as it never disappoints. A real Derry/Thai family that delivers a great service and great food every time. Highly recommend.

Awful. Most of these are fake reviews. They can't even cook boiled rice properly. I've been to Thailand 7 times and this is not Thai flavours. Don't waste your time. "Edited" I see the owner has responded like I'm also a restaurant owner 🤣 I live in England. I'm very disappointed at wasting my money on garbage.

This is the best Thai food I have ever had. What they can cook in such a small van is truly amazing. All dishes that I have tried so far have never disappointed and the food is excellent. This is real authentic Thai food and is a family run business. Angie and Nigel are two of the most lovely people you could meet and do everything to accommodate your needs. I go here every week for my fix of spicy food. Beware it’s definitely not Derrys version of hot.

From the previous reviews i can only assume you lot have no idea what Thai food really taste like. absolutley everything was overcooked and was basically just itallian noodles with some spice and bland overcooked meat. worst thai i have ever had in any country. avoid this palgue. absolutely disgusting. waste of £40

Lovely people that run it. The chicken kari was amazing! Huge portions. Plus you can eat outside da vincis in the wee pods and order drinks from bar.

Cannot thank jing jing enough! They went above and beyond for us this evening. When I stopped by to order at 8.50pm (10 minutes b4 close) all the ingredients had been used on earlier orders...instead of telling me that they were closed, Angie and Roger promised to get more ingredients and cook an order for us! They done just as they promised and the food was ready by 9.30pm, despite the fact they should have already finished for the evening!! Absolutely brilliant customer service 👏 and the food as always, the finest Thai dishes you could imagine. We are regular customers anyway, because of the delicious food and wonderful service!! But tonight was something else! Thank yous so much, Bernadette.

Exceptional and authentic Thai food! Cooked to order in a van by Thai cooks, this place is superb. I tried this on a whim and I’m so glad I did, it’s the best Thai food I’ve had outside Thailand. As it’s popular and food is cooked to order, expect to wait, however it’s worth it. Menu changes frequently so you can try new dishes. Amazing flavours and proper portion sizes with excellent cuts of meat, I’ll be returning.

What an absolute Gem had the noodles and a proper authentic Thai curry. Flavours amazing you can taste all the spicies one by one and the whole lot leaves you wanting more. Highly recommended nicest meal in a very long time. Thank yous so much well done.

Super friendly husband and wife. I cooked Thai food at a couple restaurants and am generally disappointed when trying new spots. These guys are the real deal. Super flavorful food, tender meat. I had the kra pao and panang curry. Happy I found them while passing through town.

Wow! Tonight saw my 3rd visit in as many weeks. I had Bah Mee Pad Pik Pao with chicken, medium heat. I ordered via the website, for collection. I have to say this is truly unbelievable, and I really do mean that, quite simply, stunning. The quality of the ingredients used are first class. It just feels so fresh. No bad bloat afterwards either! I don't often take to Google to review something unless it is very good or very poor, this was the former. Very very good. Possibly the best takeaway I've ever had.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price especially considering how much you get. The quality is great and very authentic tasting across the whole menu. The people who run it are genuinely lovely and have a genuine passion for what they do which is so refreshing to see. Definitely a diamond in the rough that is the Derry takeaway scene. Couldn't recommend enough

Omg best Thai food I’ve ever had outside of Thailand ! The portions are big but that didn’t stop me trying a couple of dishes cause so many great reviews ! Thankgod I did as both were amazing . So fresh so delicious this is a must try ! Thankgod I don’t live in Derry otherwise I wouldn’t be cooking .

As an asian craving for asian food, this is so far the best Thai food outside Thailand I ever had. Very reasonable price and generous portion, and a welcoming staff too. A must place to visit

Just had a take away from Thai Jing Jing and it was delicious. The portion is enough for two meals and the flavours were incredible. I ordered a medium spice level, if you’re not used to Thai spice then medium means hot so be prepared! It was authentic and beautiful, freshly made food. The service was also incredible and the passion for what they do is evident. I will definitely be back next week now that I’ve discovered this little gem behind Da Vinci’s.

Staff were fantastic from the outset. Helping us choose what to order and they even let us try samples without asking. Food was exquisite 👌 Best Thai we've ever had and at a very reasonable price. Most likely be back... tomorrow!!

After review we opted for here instead of the hotel restaurant bad choice rice was just boiledrice no flavour. We asked for medium it was so hot so couldn't taste any flavour.

We got pad tai tonight with a green curry sauce, outstanding flavour and quality.

Tried the "pad me" with noodles and silverside beef at the weekend, it was absolutely beautiful. Definitely will be back!

Sooo good! We had Pad Kra Pao, Pad Mee, Red Curry and Pad Thai, with roti, rice and spring rolls. Everything was delicious. All freshly cooked. I had great chat while it was finishing off too. A lovely family running a very special business. This was a real treat, we will definitely be back!

Had a lovely experience getting dinner here. The portions were very generous and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and very reasonably priced for the amount you get. As tourists from Aus it was nice to have cuisine that we are so keen on at home.

Safe to say the best takeaway I have ever had. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Explained the dishes and recommended things to suit both mine and my wife’s preferences. Yellow curry was a special and it was insane. We had a mixture of noodles, rice and curry with the breads. Portion sizes were huge, very reasonably priced and just a lovely experience when ordering. First time trying jing jing on a overnight stay the thai chicken curry was absolutely amazing the best I have ever had went out of there way to help as they where ready to close. It is definitely a must try thank you for feeding my husband xx

This is absolutely superb. It was my first time trying Thai food after smelling the incredible aroma while I had a drink across the road at da vincis. We had two meals to share between two of us and the portions were humungous. I can’t remember what we ordered but it was absolutely fantastic. You can pick your spice level and we went for spicy, which was a bit hotter than we expected but incredible non the less. The guy that works there (Roger I think he said his name was) came past a while later and asked how we got on - he then came back with some free spring rolls which he said would help clear the palette and take the edge of the spice - lovely guy! I’m not from Derry but can’t wait to try this next time I’m in the city. Sorry for the poor picture, I was pretty drunk by this stage!

Jing jing is a new family favourite in our house our meal was incredible the nicest meal ive had from a food place in such a long time fresh tasty and flavors I knew knew could be achieved and the portions are fantastic, i have to say the vibe of this place is class and the staff are so helpfull you can have a taste of the dishes to try before your buy but there is really no need there all delious. we got a few dishes to try i let the staff choose what I got and I was NOT disappointed. I wish the owners of jing jing all the best with there establishment it's the kinda place you would love to see open a restaurant in the future 10/10

We found this place by googling thai food in Derry! Glad we found them, lovely family cooking authentic thai dishes. We ordered the pad thai, yellow curry and pad mee. We originally only ordered the 2 noodle dishes but we got a little taste of the curry and we had to order it! Food is fabulous and amazing hospitality. Glad we found this place! If we’re in Derry again we are definitely coming back.
