I want to commend a bartender, Patrick, for his excellent customer service. He’s a credit to the pub and made us feel so welcome. He poured a literally perfect pint and made the already relaxing atmosphere feel so warm and inviting to all of the patrons. Thank you, Patrick! Wonderful jazz music, too.
A warm and welcoming restaurant in a quiet area. Excellent staff and great food with some unexpected extras. Good choice of dishes on the menu. We will definitely come back.
Me and 7 other friends were looking for a quick bite to eat before our bus left in an hour. This cafe was cute and promising so we went in. We sat between two tables because there wasn't a big enough table to accommodate us, the lady told us there would be a 10% service charge for our large party, which was quite alright.
We ordered drinks and food, sandwiches, avocado toast, breakfast burritos, quick standard food. Drinks took 20 minutes to come out and food took over 40 minutes. At one point the cafe ran out of avocados so a few friends left. By the time the food came out, we don't have time to eat in the cafe and have to grab togo containers or try and eat as fast as possible.
We were still asked to pay the service charge, which I found a little ridiculous since a few of us left without having anything but water. And we were split between two tables less than four people at each table.

I recently dined at Browns Bonds Hill, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for the evening.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the steak I ordered. To call it "amazing" would be an understatement—it was perfection on a plate. It was so tender and flavorful that it melted in my mouth like butter; I almost swallowed my tongue, it was that good!
The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring every detail of the meal was flawless. The ambiance, paired with the exceptional food, creates an experience that’s hard to match.
If you're looking for a place that excels in both service and culinary artistry, Browns Bonds Hill is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu!
Fab staff, Delicious Food and the perfect spot for our family get together in Derry. They packed in 23 of us and treated each and every one of us to a delicious meal. The food was only outdone by the smiling, charming waitresses. A must visit in Derry!

A party for eight was given a fixed menu on a Saturday night but the charge was forty pounds per person which seemed steep for Derry. I live in London and a meal in an Arabic restaurant for two cost thirty two pounds a fortnight ago The food was fantastic and the service was good . If we had been able to choose the a la carte menu this would be four or five stars . Please give people a choice.
