Friendly helpful staff matched only by the incredible food.

Give it a try if you dare! You won't be disappointed. It's no doubt a hidden gem of the city! Got the steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The wine mushroom sauce is a must try. The chef definitely knows what he/she's doing.

Brilliant Staff and great bar food, It never disappoints and Portions are great also. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

The food was fresh including any sauces. Lovely and clean and excellent service. Sat outside so could not fully rare the atmosphere. Refreshing change from the tourist bars in the city centre

Its the middle of January, it's cold and miserable out side but you can't beat The Ritz for a nice warm open fire and steaks cooked to exactly how you want them. There weren't many people in but that's to be expected at 6pm, our orders were taken promptly and we had no great wait for our food, the bar staff were friendly and attentive, the food was very tasty and plentiful, we both left unable to eat another bite. Top marks folks, thank you, we will be back..

Best bang for your buck bar and grill in downtown Londonderry!! The young boy behind the bar in particular was really great with my young daughter, such a friendly young guy! Believe his name was Colin or something similar? Big fan of the battered cod. Will be back…

Nice pub, but kitchen closes early. The staff didn't warn the customers about this, it's not written on a sign either...

Great gastro pub with friendly service , fairly priced with a great vibe. Outdoor sitting area a big plus on a nice day. Billiards table a added element along with good eats , seating , TV and fireplace . Traveling for a month in the UK and The Ritz 👍arguably

What an awesome spot! It was one of the only places that was open on a Monday and it was so great! John served us personally and took the time to make polite conversation. The food was GREAT and priced perfectly. The atmosphere was very homey and welcoming and all in all was a highlight of our visit to Derry. Highly recommend it as a place to stop and enjoy.

I might be a bit bias rating the ritz as I have been coming here for literally all my life my eg. christening party was held here I reckon I was there every paddy's day and when I turned 18 almost every weekend, I'm sure most people are the same with their own local pub. They have dart boards and a pool table and they have live music nights a small dance floor but a dance floor none the less, good selection of beers on tap and now offering a cocktail menu. For those rare sunny days in derry the patio is the place to be in the waterside. They also have a great menu recently expanded as well as serving food until 9pm. The back section can be reserved for private partys bookings required

It was a very pleasant experience. When they realized that due to circumstances I had to celebrate my birthday alone, I was given the chocolate cake on the house and "Happy Birthday" was played. This was also possible because I was the only one present at that time. So I still had a nice evening.

I think one of the most friendliest bars in northern Ireland, with views of river foyle ,outside area decked and table chairs and canopy s , Inside spacious able cater for parties Live music pool darts karaoke, Food served during the day ,great for Sunday roast , Beer selection is excellent with wide range to choose from , Guinness is also very good here , as well having tea coffee , and a selection of coffee made to your liking including irish coffee , their is updates on Facebook Have a look and see if anything on that takes your fancy , Call in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff
