Bishop's Gate Hotel Derry in Derry

Wow, it's simply a stunning and wonderful hotel. The staff are warm and friendly, the rooms are super comfortable, and the location inside the walls can not be beat. Highly recommended!

The Bishop’s Gate Hotel in Derry is a real gem! From the warm welcome to check-out, everything was absolutely perfect. The historic building has been renovated with great attention to detail and combines classic charm with modern comfort. My room was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and wonderfully quiet. I was particularly impressed by the excellent service - the staff was always friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast was to die for: fresh, local produce and a great selection. The central location in the middle of the old town is also ideal for exploring Derry. I felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

Sensational hotel. Gary and Ciara were absolutely superstars. They made our stay. We spend 200+ nights traveling every year...if only all hotels had a Gary & Ciara.

Londonderry is beautifull town with so much history and amazing pubs and restaurants. It is must see for minimum of 2 nights. We were fortunate to book at the Bishop's Gate Hotel. Derry. We were greeted with Gary and Ciara. Brilliant customer service. Restaurant at the hotel The Wig & Gown was very tasty and well priced we enjoyed our meal there especially the desert. We felt at home and comfortable with our stay. We are so appreciative of what this hotel offers and amazing staff. Highly recommend it.

This is a great location inside city walls. Comfy beds, very clean, and lovely staff. We enjoyed our dinner in the lounge as well. Highly recommend.

I ordered duck and it was very tough, poor choices in menu, my husband's lamb was also tough

From start to finish our experience at the Bishopsgate was first class. Highly professional and friendly staff, we got a room upgrade upon arrival which was a lovely surprise and the room was fantastic. Ideally situated in the heart of the old city, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the Walls, other historic sites and of course pubs and restaurants. Overall a brilliant experience and we will be back.

Had a lovely dinner with friends. Excellent restaurant in the downtown. Definitely the best restaurant we visited in the area. Did not stay at the hotel but it looks charming. Definitely recommended

Very historical place to stay and just by the wall. Room very nice, clean and quiet. The front desk host was very friendly and professional with answers on questions we ask. Highly recommend to check out the lounge and get your adult beverages and enjoy your he very tasty surroundings.

Out for my daughter's 40th birthday service a bit slow but food wasbeautifull

Called in for a meal in the Wig bar. Ordered the steak special - cooked to perfection. Service was spot on- attentive but unobtrusive.

Go here very often. Generally excellent, have only had one experience when food was very below par.
