The best restaurants in North Down South Eastern NI

First time trying a burger from here, and it was delightful!! Found it really easy to find, and the lady brought the burgers out to our car. Nice to find real proper good burgers so close to home :)

Morelli’s ice cream is nice and creamy which I like... I got the salted caramel which is quite rich and really nice. Very good ice cream!

We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our stay at the Premier Inn hotel. The waiters were very friendly and the food was great. The kids menu was a good offer, because with 8€ a kid has 2 dishes (starter+main or main+dessert), a drink and 2 sides to choose. For adults, there is the possibility of a Meal Deal, which has a good price including 2 dishes and a drink. If we ever stay at this hotel again, we will return to this restaurant.

Food was amazing and staff where super friendly and hard working.

Recently ordered from here while I was staying in Bangor. The order was ready in under 10 minutes. When I went in to pick it up, I was greeted with a vibrant establishment, full of happy chatter and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I think it would be a lovely place to dine out as well. I ordered a Malaysian curry with coconut rice, and opted to add tofu. It was absolutely delicious, so full of flavour and cooked to perfection. I will most definitely be back.

Really nice to walk into the restaurant and get a greeting from the chefs. Good start for my first time visiting Fontana. Next was meeting a member of staff who remembered me who is lovely and an asset to the place. Now for the food! Beautifully presented fish which was light and delicious followed by scummy apple crumble. Place is nicely laid out with a good atmosphere and very efficient staff. Prices are as you would expect for such good food, wine is fairly expensive and probably a sign of the times!

Excellent food and excellent service

This was an amazing place to stay! It was clean, comfortable, and friendly, the location was idyllic, and everything was so welcoming - but I so appreciated their commitment to environmentally-friendly practices that really mean something (vs greenwashing to give the appearance of concern). And the nighttime quiet policy meant we could sleep so peacefully without loud guests waking us up. It was the perfect way to begin our holiday.

This was my first time in Joxter. So sorry I didnt go b4 as food was excellent. Service was very good also. Music just a little loud if you wanted to talk. It's one of my pet hates having to talk over music. If it wasn't closing I wld definitely come back.

Thought I'd try these award winning burgers but was bitterly disappointed. The burger was just ok nothing special, but the chips I ordered were served 10mins too early. No crispiness to them whatsoever. Considering how much I paid for this combo I would not recommend. There are other places doing burgers much better
