Phat Bastrd Burger in North Down

Expected SO much more for the prices being charged. Average at best burgers and fries for very high pricing. Very surprised and quiet disappointed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Burger and dirty fies were great.

Decent burgers, but a little expensive to be honest. £32 for 2 burgers with no fries or drink.

Absolutely the BEST burger I have had in a long time. Ordered the BBQ burger and the saffron fries and now I don't think I could order from somewhere else now that I know this exists. If you're looking for tasty food, I could not recommend this place more!!!

Super quick. Got chiabatta chicken box and wife got salt n chilli burritto. Both stunning. We were stealing each others food. Best food in north down. Super quik drlivery too.

Was supposed to have a promotion with Uber eats at the time and it didn't go through. Was told to order anyway and it'll come off post-checkout, it didn't. Was also supposed to have free delivery, same exact story. On top of that, FOOD HAD HAIR IN IT. We rang the restaurant to try and resolve the issue or at least get the money back that we weren't supposed to pay to begin with, and maybe a voucher or ANYTHING for the hairy food; but nope! Instead we got faffed about for weeks and eventually ignored! In the end proceeded with a charge back from Uber eats and were awarded a full refund. Thank god for PayPal checkout! Never again. Shame too, cause the burger wasn't bad until we saw the hairs and lack of customer service. Bad taste. 0/5 stars.

First time trying here and be a bit reluctant to try again, was super excited to try the salted chilli chips with pepper and onions and all the good stuff, I’m not really one for reviews but just a bit disappointed maybe I got it on a bad day but I’d hope for £12 I’d get what’s advertised 💔

It took 2 hours and 45 minutes to have a burger and 2 kids meals delivered on a Friday evening. Very poor service when phoned the restaurant with the reply "were very busy tonight!" In fairness to the owner he has replied and we have ordered again to see if it was a one off.

These burgers are not for the faint hearted. Huge and tasty. Had our order delivered to our hotel. It arrived quickly and was still nice and hot. Reasonably priced with very pleasant staff. Thank you 😊

Seen this place on food review club youtube. Never knew this place existed and i only live a few miles away. Ordered for a delivery, a burger, house fries and a burrito. Arrived at specified time and delivery guy was great. Food was amazing. Totally stunning fresh taste. my daughters burrito was immense in flavour. Great menu too. Cant wait for my next order. Only thing is altho there are crossovers on the menus with adrianos. I feel a joint app would be better rather than 2, or am i just old and missed something? Either way, cant wait for next time.

For once i wont be washing ballsac sauce out of my moustache. Amazing burgers amazing fries. Diabetes can take a foot or even my arm if it means i can keep eating here.

The burger was the best I've ever had. It was absolutely amazing and the salt and chilli fries were top notch too. I had been wanting to try here for quite a while and I wasn't disappointed. It won takeaway of the year and after trying their food I understand why. The quality of the food justifies their award. I will definitely be back to try more off their menu. The staff were also really friendly and helpful and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. If you haven't tried it yet take my word for it and give it a go.

Having purchased a few takeaway burgers which I might add wer excellent 👌 I decided to purchase the barbecue pack. All I can say is wow 👌 👏 beautiful tasting wagu burgers barbecued at home. Roughly 10 to 12 mins on barbecue and they are done worth the money and time. Will be getting few more of these over the summer months. Dont waste time get them bought you won't regret it. BEST BURGERS N IRELAND.....

Really good. I went for the Hamburglars Revenge; the burger was awesome, very fresh & the sauce was good take on the Big Mac. Salted chilli chips were really good too. Definitely recommend 🍔

It was my first time in Bangor with a few friends and when we were looking for a place to eat the “phat bastrd burger” logo caught our eyes straight away the food was so good I can’t even explain and the staff where really chill and nice definitely will be back at some point again

Stopped in for lunch and I was glad I did, I had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and loved every bite, was like nothing I've ever tasted definitely coming back!

Just ordered for delivery from their app tonight … hands down not only the best burger I’ve had but some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! Delivery was fast, packaging was great. I’ve tried many other local burger takeaways and been out off ordering burgers as normally they arrive flattened and a soggy bap which I thought was just typical of being delivered… this was definitely not the case for Phat Bastrd’s. Meat was incredible and perfectly cooked, salad inside burger was also so fresh and the dressing was great. Honestly believe the hype - I am now a burger fan as this is the only way they should ever be and I’ll not be getting my burgers elsewhere :)

Had from here for the first time and it was great. Some of the burger places do them a bit pink in middle(Gordon Ramsey style)but this place has the option to message kitchen when ordering😎. Got to say the chic burger was massive actually both were...would def get again😋😋😋

Called in while visiting with some Friends and was greeted with plenty of options as well as a few choices for our vegan friend. Service was fast and friendly and the food was cooked perfectly. George was really welcoming and made the experience that much better a must visit if your in ten area. 5/5

We got takeaway buger and burrito. The burger was lovely not as big as i expected. So very expensive £34.70 could not afford that.

Between the swears and innuendos this is a burger place for people with prepared lectures on the nuances of their favorite IPA beer, or even, those with passionate opions on the newest superhero films. The target audience might even be the type that feel a rush of exhilaration upon saying a bad word. The burgers themselves, boasting wagyu beef, the lastest craze of "beef afficianados," was of a single consistency. I would imagine this is from baking the beef, assuring the patty is cooked through without charring the surface. A postive for some, no doubt, but remincent of pre-made hamburgers found at fast food resturaunts. It is possible the confidence in the wagyu would result in a light touch of seasoning; though the sheer mass of the patty would not doubt benefit from some herbs. The onion amount would flatter even the most zealous of Allium fans. The hashbrown must be a purely Ulster invention and as an outsider I will refrain from criticizing. However, the overall effect contributes to not only the sheer amount of calories, but the need for one to unhinge their jaw in order to take a bite. If the only other comparison was fast food, or even if you believe food should be prepared with the same monotous methods of factory distribution, then Phat Bastrd is fine. The delivery driver was top notch, a true credit to his profession.

First time ordering , cheese burger box meal was superb, best burger I have tasted, food arrived warm, and food was freshly cooked, I deffo will be ordering again soon ......

All other burgers are now ruined...simple. best burger I have ever tasted. Brilliant service, brilliant business, brilliant burger.

The whole family love these burgers - they even do a veggie burger that our vegetarian daughter loves. Definitely worth every penny and I'd highly recommend everyone to try them.

Well what can I say about this place other than truly epic I have eaten in many cities many towns and many countries hence my shape and this place did not disappoint the quality and freshness of the produce could be savoured in every bite I mean this is not a burger you’ll find in MCS OR BK this is real meat fresh sides amazing sauces served by knowledge full Staff polite and friendly atmosphere it’s not often you find a gem like this in a small seaside town or big city actually lucky for those who can dine here when they choose I will certainly be returning that’s for sure the portions are very pleasing indeed you won’t be hungry and the flavours mouthwatering people say it’s a burger 🍔 well this is more than just a burger it’s an experience you have to have.. If you know food you’ll know this place is one for the big hitters and I recently found out it’s won an award 🥇 I’m not surprised at all. See you all very soon please keep up the standard leagues above the rest Mick

What a burger, really top notch. I do love my food - when I went to New York I did a tour of all the top burger bars and street food and the burger I got in Bangor beats all of them. It was fantastic and the staff were so friendly, chatted while the burger was cooking. I couldn't recommend enough, I will be back to check out the rest of the menu!
