The best restaurants in Cathedral Down South Eastern NI

I asked for my sub to be heated twice this was not done, I wonder how they get away with like warm reheated food,then was told sit in closed which was fine by me only seats for kids

Be careful with times with this cafe, signs on the door and online state they close at 4.30pm. Called in today at 4.03pm and was told kitchen closed at 4pm, very disappointing.

Beware! If you order online and when you go to collect something is not available you will be told you will get a refund back to your card. You won't no matter how many times you try to get in contact using the form on the website or send a message or phone the store. Demand a cash refund there and then. The so called "managers" will not reply. They leave the store staff in the firing line and ignore any messages. I feel sorry for the young female staff members working in the Downpatrick store. It can't be a good company to work for. Then they comment on the review but do nothing about refunding the money to the card.

An hour wait then marked it as delivered when it wasn’t

Ordered at 5.30pm delivery time said 6.30pm, it's now 7.30pm and still no food been delivered. Not the first time this has happened either but will definitely be the last as I won't be ordering from here anymore.

Totally inedible, dried up and not even our labradors would eat it. I've given 1 star for the fact that it was on time when we went to pick it up but there was only one member of staff who served us (no sign of anyone cooking anything) and the food tasted as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Half of what we wanted from the menu was unavailable. When we got home our order was missing some items. The vegetables looked liked they'd been scraped out of the bin. The satay chicken was harder and drier than the carboard boxes it came in. The massaman sauce which we ordered was the consistency of water. Avoid at all costs.

Although this little bus station cafe is small and always busy because of those who are passing through, I can honestly say some of the best coffee in Downpatrick is served here. Very reasonably priced, and they have specials on regularly to suit the season. Even if you're not making a trip anywhere, stop here for a lovely brew and a fresh baked good or confectionary of your choice to carry you through your day.

After a long day of travel from Texas we were glad to unwind with a great pint of Guinness, and some delicious food.

Was in yesterday with my patner.... we ordered some food there was a seating area so we asked if we could sit in so we took a seat and when the food was ready they couldn't even bring it down.. went up collected the food came down opened the bag anybody with common since wouldn't put a cold dip into a box with warm food... and when u order a kebab the chicken is ment 2 be cut up and as for the chips they must of been fried 20 times... I went up 2 ask for a knife to cut the chicken to be told 2 bring it bk up she would cut it for me... And another bad sign when u walk in and the staff r swearing so loud u can here them in the street... defo dont recommend.....

This cafe is an absolute disaster. We went in a large group and some of the group waited over an hour for their meal. It was total chaos. The waitress was also very rude when we pointed out that we’d waited for some time to be served. Her attitude was that it was”wasn’t her fault”. Didn’t offer to check on the order, but instead was rude and very unhelpful. I will never be back here again. Very disappointing.

It was sooo good best food I have had in ages

Ridiculous closing time Arrived at 1933hrs on Thursday night to be told by staff, sorry we are closed. We closed at 1920hrs tonight. What sort of food establishment closes on a Thursday evening at this time? Not a way to run a business.

Great staff. 🙂 Good service. ☕️ Seating might need updating. 🤔 The void creature that keeps appearing when I'm there is a little off putting as it tries to steal my hot chocolate but offering it sacrifices of small children works. 💀 Interesting music playlists. 💯
